I'm a Jets fan and I think this is all overblown. The NY media will wrote about anything and journalists compete for the most catchy headlines. If this was happening in Seattle, no one would care. Aaron Rodgers is a true professional who will be ready to play when the time comes. By way of analogy, Michael Strahan sat out the entire preseason in 2007, came back to start the season, was ready to play and was a huge part of the Giants' Super Bowl win that season (as well as the playoff win over the Cowboys-Sorry, I had to say that).

As we all know, winning cures almost everything. If the Jets win a lot of games, no one will give a crap about who missed what. The one thing that is spot on, is that there does seem to be a lack of leadership within the Jets organization. Those situations usually don't end well. The Jets have too much invested and are too close to being relevant for the first time in a very long time. The Jets organization needs to tighten up, from ownership all the way down to every player on the team.

For sure would not care if rodgers retired at this point. i got emotional knowing manning, brees, brady, roethlisberger rivers, ryan were all retiring. I will enjoy hearing rodgers is done. the guy is straight up annoying as a person.
