We also aim at providing significant poverty alleviation to the Western Kenya communities. 

By working with interested women groups and involving them in the production of the stoves, the project was able to take advantage of women’s knowledge and experience, this has been a critical element in enhancing the ability of women to earn income from stove-related activities.
