I noticed that when I was a kid! Especially when she wakes up and looks at him,shocked ,he looks so confused and sad. This film needs a Guillermo del Toro face lift!

This is one of those rare films where the antagonist is the best character. Darkness is to _Legend_ what Darth Vader is to _Star Wars_ and what the Joker is to _The Dark Knight_
I bet you won't say that when you're on the receiving end of it. I mean when a group of animals assault and rob you and beat you to a pulp. Being an animal is no skill or art. Being a human is a challenge. More so than your average disillusioned *chimp* will ever realize.
@@McLarenMercedes The climb towards the peak inside of man is a challange. That, however, does not mean the peak is not a part of the terrain. We are a part of the nature, we are a lonesome peak on top of a desolate terrain; but we are still of the earth.
@@bahayesilyurt1510 - Humanity is not the peak or goal, just one of the billions of life forms evolution has produced. Other things will live after us, and if they develop self-reflective intelligence, they'll probably think they're the 'peak' of life as well.

This was honestly the movie I liked Tom Cruise best in. Like, he was so young he almost wasn't Tom Cruise yet, so full of himself there's no room for his role, you know? In this one, I can actually see JACK.

Darkness is not the childish evil person that does evil for no reason , but rather it seems like he is a person who life and people failed him and made him pessimistic, melancholic and nihilistic to the point of embracing evil
Darkness was a bit silly to believe that Lily would join him so easily after all this. He's seriously disturbed if he thinks he has anything to really offer her.
The original draft of the screenplay had Lily transform into a cat, but ultimately that scene got cut. Had it been included, it would have made this scene have even more power to it.
Nathan Forester or it would've tainted the movie with shitty 80's animation. Don't get me wrong, I fucking love the 80's, but this movie is so well shot and the cinematography is so magnificent that I wouldn't want any sort of animation to detract from that.
Considering ridley scott intended for lily to get scratched by the unicorns horn and start to turn into a cat person, the line "we are all animals" would've made more sense

If they ever do a remake, I would like to see Natalia Dyer cast in Mia Sara's place. Although I think they would use too much CGI for the devil and ruin it.
