This entire series is so special. The kind of mix that you throw on and for once in a long while you feel like everything in life is going to be alright.
With Vagabond's The Future is Cold, I can't find any other stuff by that artist other than just one youtube video. I found winter demo 2012 and it had that song and one other on spotify but it wouldn't play it as it was protected or something. Does Vagabond have any other music or do they make music under another name?
I never found anything else from Vagabond either other than the 2 track release. The Future Is Cold is such a great one. Not sure if that was all they did or if they're more famous and usually release under some other name.
22:40 Ex Machina - Skin - this is killing me. I love it, but at the same time it's sent me into deep thought about a really important person I've lost. Crazy how music does that to you.
Just discovered these (thanks to a mix put on Blume's channel and wow, these are some of the greatest ambient mixes that I have ever heard. Some mixes just lull you into feeling all calm, and then there are others in which the music, the mix, the indefinable combination of everything that goes into making them pull you out of whatever you are doing and force you to listen to them, to embrace how they are suddenly making you...feel. These mixes are truly breathtaking.
I feel that. That violin in Wider Sun and the wide orchestral sounds from the Pearl track underlying it just sing together. Wider Sun brings me so many memories.
@@WeAreAllAstronauts Oh, absolutely. Just the feeling of having grow beyond the boundaries you previously thought were immutable, and realizing there's so much more to yourself than you thought. Amazing.
I am in tears at the end of X Machina skin for reasons I can't and won't put on the internet. When I get a girlfriend I can already tell it's going to hurt so much...
All your mixes ( I to VIII ) are wonderful. I discovered you in December 2019. Your creativity makes us travel inside ourselves and through our soul. Thank you so much.
I was just alerted that the owners of one of the songs on the mix have required it be removed :( Such a shame when that song is only in for 1-2mins of the 90 min mix. You can still listen over here though: soundcloud.com/weareallastronauts/blue-dot-three?in=weareallastronauts/sets/blue-dot-series
@@murph_mustela It was called "Driven To Despair". It went to some festivals but I'm not sure if it ever had a general release. The film producer had an office in the climbing gym I used at spend all my free time at.
When people see these, and pass them by, they were unaware that it was something they needed. Or, they knew they needed it and passed it by, thinking they are well enough without it. Big words, but I mean it. These are priceless.
At some point I'll upload voiceless versions for those that prefer without (or maybe I'll do a compilation of Blue Dot mixes that is more suited to meditation)
