It is a lot of work spring cleaning our home in Montana plus garden cleanup! But we are enjoying the process!

Brown sugar cake
1/2 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups buttermilk or sour milk.
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda.
1 teaspoon vanilla.
A pinch of salt.
Cream together, 2 cups sugar and butter. Add buttermilk and soda, then flour and vanilla. Pour into greased cake pan and bake in 350° oven until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
Enjoy!

Priscilla, I am so very thankful for your videos, showing you and your lovely family back home in Montana! Although you have done lots of house work in your beautiful Montana home, you have also been able to spend time with your amazing family, which is wonderful! You can never spend too much time with your loved ones. We lost our amazing son-in-law to cancer less than a month ago. He was a wonderful Christian father. So obviously when the renters leave they don't always leave it as clean has when they found it. That sucks. So your working your butt's off while your back in Montana instead of enjoying your visits sith rhe family especially Joas's mom and dad. Beautiful video Priscilla. Both your homes show your love of decorating and your great taste in decorating. Two beautiful homes. Truly we all need Jesus in our lives now. We all need to keep enjoying our families and watch over each and every one of them. My husband and I split our time between NH and Co. for twenty years. Finally six years ago we have moved permanently to Colorado. It was a very hard move as we grew up in NH and lived together in our home for fifty two years by then. So many memories there. Springs cleaning is a thing of the past I think. I still do it with love every year. My mom taught me how to clean when I was young and I get very relaxed while cleaning my home. I hope you will have many days spending time with both your families. God bless you all. So nice to see Joas walking around.

When you mentioned getting a grill. Back in 2003, my husband had money he had saved up in a 5 gallon spring water bottle. So him and a friend went to Lowe’s to get something, I can’t remember. Anyway he called me at work to see if I cared that he get a gas grill. I said I didn’t care. Well he came home with a 4 burner, rotisserie, and side burner Jenn Air stainless steel grill. It was over $500.00. I just about had a heart attack. Well that was the best investment. We are still using the grill with no problems. Good luck if you get a grill. P. S. It is amazing that my aunt was born 1 hour west of your dad. She will be 80 this year also. My aunt and uncle used to go to the gas and engine show on that side of Indiana. It was part of our FFA district, in high school.

I cleaned many ovens that way before realizing that you can easily remove the door from many of them. It makes the cleaning so much easier on the back! Just open the door part-way, about 5-6 inches to the spot where it stops. Then lift it up. It slides right off.

This was a wonderful video, Pricilla! It’s great that you are able to get back to see your family, that’s so precious. I’m in Alaska and most of my family is in New England. We get back for about a month each year but it is so hard to be apart. We are waiting for the Lord’s timing to perhaps make a move, but I certainly do love Alaska! So I am trying to enjoy my time here as we wait. I love all your videos and fell in love with your family from the very start. It’s wonderful to see how God is using your channels as well as your family in many ways. And it is still such a blessing to see Joas getting around on his own 2 feet. Praise God! Jealous so glad to see you guys back in Montana home you look so happy and the kids look happy. I love Montana. I was there in the 70s lake Kalispell and the little town up on the border. It’s beautiful. I worked in Alaska. It was nice also but not as nice as Montana I sure hope you guys eventually go back home. When my husband and I lived near Pittsburgh I would go to Lancaster a few times a year. Then 6 years ago a moved to Kalispell Montana to help with my grandchildren while my daughter was working and getting her masters degree. My granddaughter also worked at Murdocks as we lived off of Kelly Road. I loved going to the school auctions and shopping at your family store. Started following Meadow Lark Homes . Now back in Virginia where I was born and raised on the Delmarva Peninsula near the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnels, all to say I love the family values of taking care of family, Our loved ones. Just love this channel and Montana Haven as well. I want to mention something. When I recently purchased a new stove, I was advised NOT to use those spill mats in the oven if you have vent / heat outlets. I suppose if you cut mat so as to not block it should be ok. you are so inspiring with your deep cleaning ! I’m wondering do you have a service to clean between guests? It must be difficult to rent out when you live so far away! And lastly, do you plan to return full time to Libby or stay in Alaska? Prayers for Joas mother to enjoy her time with your family.

And as travelers journeyed along this picturesque route, they couldn't help but feel as though they were traversing through a slice of heaven on earth.

Pricilla, It is so refreshing to watch your family and to see how you all live! You can see Jesus beaming in all your lives. Thank you for sharing your lives with us. I know it is good getting back to you Montana home. I love watching the scenery of both places. I’m in my late 60’s and live in west Tn. I’m colder than I’ve ever been before. I would think getting out of that snow a little while feels good! I always thought I’d loved to live in Colorado or the Mountains. I still love to visit them. I go to the Smokies a lot more now. I’ve been in Yellow stone and love there too. We here in TN have a mixture of weather. We have maybe 1, 5” or bigger snow a year occasionally. Sometime 5 years apart. That is the way I like them in this stage of my life.
