This week we had a lot going on.. lots of construction underwear on the compound, including a new play area for the kids that we are excited about!
We also venture out to the market in Kianjai for some fresh fruit and friendly faces.
I also give you a small farm date and show you all of the piglets.. there are so many!

I really admire the energy in nkorote. She's the first everywhere.One day she will be a great mum having been tutored by wonderful parents with the other siblings. I love watching African Market coverage. But would love to know the cost. There is a Kenyan vlogger Suzy's Homestead and she filmed a small piece on Maraketi market and I was shocked at the prices, though inflated, still so much much much cheaper than the West. For example, I just bought two mangoes (very tiny ones) on sale (from $1.99 CDN each) to 2 for $2.

The kids will definitely have a good time in their new play area. I doubted if the 4 wood pillars would support the whole weight, but once you went in with the kids I realized it's strong.
