After hearing the sad news about BTS taking a break from group activities such as concerts and focusing more on solo albums, we can tell that they has been having a hard time and really wish for us ARMYs to support them, so I created this cover idea to show BTS that we’re with them and support them no matter what. It is a collaboration with some ARMY friends I met on discord! We wanted to include as many people as possible and show the diversity of the fandom to the world. WE ARE BULLETPROOF.
I hope this video achieves a lot and it would be a dream if BTS saw it. Not because we want the recognition, or we want the fame. I think it would make them really happy to see something like this. They were extremely sad during the Festa dinner and they were looking for a source of approval within us. Imagine how disappointed they must be when they see that ‘our hearts are broken’ and that we’ve been ‘crying’ and trending articles about ‘bts disband’ and ‘bts hiatus’. Yes, I’m a bit sad too, but this is their break and they very much deserve it. I am so grateful to everyone to who took part in this video, ARMY’s who showed their support in the Army’s Chillin’ Server, and every single BTS member for making this video possible. I think this is one of the best things I’ve done, and I’ve never felt prouder.
I want to be the reason for someone’s happiness. Ask yourself, what is a fan? Fans should be people who celebrities can lean on, share jokes with, smile together, and sing together, and most of all, love. The most precious moment to me is when an ARMY comments something on a V-live and BTS reads it out and it makes them laugh and smile. The small things mean everything, so no matter how much people tell us we can’t do anything, we can. Of course, this isn’t one-sided. BTS, with their RUN BTS! episodes that made us smile every Tuesday, their relatable and emotional song lyrics that comforted us on days we were down, and all the emotions involved in every single video is a memory. If I were to explain this to someone who isn’t an ARMY, they wouldn’t get it, so the best way I can explain it is ‘it feels like another world that’s I belong in, something special to me. To be the cause of someone’s euphoria, to have someone write a song for you, to have someone love you so much to check up on you and have a friendship like that, even one as bizarre as BTS & ARMY, is so beautiful and so precious. To have and keep making memories like this is the most beautiful moment in my life.
Let’s love and support BTS until the end. ARMY FOREVER.
