I've been in dokkan since the 6th year anniversary so idk if I'm the right one to express an opinion on this sync thing but honestly I undertand why people are angry and tbh characters coming later isn't the bad thing is just the lack of communication from the devs that being said I'm so hyped for 9th anny and the sync thing doesn't bother me as much as other people is just another "Global moment" to add to the count at the of the day this will be another funny story to tell when we get to the 10th anni lmao

Just to remind everybody, there are tickets for the Carnival and Dokkan banner and if you managed to catch them, you could've bought two $3 packs. What we don't know is whether the tickets can be acquired through summoning BUT we know for sure there's going to be buyable tickets for the banner. However, if there aren't any GFSSR summons with the tickets, I highly recommend not buying them unless it's your last resort.

I'm so glad I'm not part of the "community" and just play the game... I'mma just do my summons and hope be happy on my little corner

Thought the new step up was good but everything else within the Dokkan NOW could’ve just been a quick post. At this point I’m not surprised with the sync news I was already thinking we would truly be synced by 10th Anniversary. The problem with the sync is that they should’ve kept the news to themselves until they were actually ready to do it, instead of a telling us a full year it should’ve been a month or a week. This whole sync just created high expectations on how will global schedule change in order to be catch up to JP’s schedule when in reality we were doing the regular global schedule.

If you have 1000 stones your now most likely to at least pull one copy I like how they redid the steps cause all the recent anniversaries I’d get pure shaft and somehow get one through a multi then the other a single summon luck or ticket would pull through but I’m excited to summon tbh Edit: by the time we get teq ui Goku JP would’ve had there 10th anniversary already not even counting the heat before 10th anni

I did not expect me to be the only one to trick Toon (RedsOnWheels here, Hi!). the only reason I did it like that is bc Twitter limits the amount you can type in a single tweet so me and my typical essay-type writing couldnt possibly fit onto a single tweet.

Im more than prepared for anni with over 3000 stones and more than enough red coin to get a beast gohan. Going for all the new characters, but putting the least in the gammas.

Honestly, the new banner format is a huge W, even if we won't get the tickets. The only reason I'm upset about the sync "news" is that basically they said nothing, only that it'll start during Worldwide. Why the secrecy, that's what I don't get

Man I'm ready. I've got 123 stones saved up and I'm aiming to get Broly, Gogeta, Zamasu and maybe the god bros. I'm thinking with my lack of luck I should get at least 1 of those characters within my 28th multi summon which actually means I can't get them. But man I'm ready to get them that's for sure :)

Of course they would find a way to counter the massive saving that the playerbase has been doing. They can see we're sitting on 2k, 3k stones each, so how will they outsmart us? Back to back units dropping post 9 Anni

The only game I was apart of a sync for was Final Fantasy Brave Exvius: War of the Visions. The sync process made me actually quit a game I had been playing since day one for what... 3-4 years? I don't even know anymore. They chose to basically double up banners, but not content and not the summoning currency for like 6 months. It was the biggest, most disgusting cash grab I have ever seen in a gacha and I chose to ditch them despite actually liking the game, being the leader of a top 200 guild in the world, really liking the story and characters. Sometimes you have to stick to your principals. Luckily, Dokkan isn't so far behind that it'll feel that bad even if they did it this way.

I really don't care. Sync would be nice but I'm just keeping my expectations low because Dokkan has already broken my expectations in good and bad ways. I'm just going to enjoy this anniversary because I have been looking forward to the W characters and hope I can pull the ones I want. Going to have 1300+ for Part 1. Good luck everyone.

It feels like everyone is complaining about not getting UI for anniversary so that the games sync sooner. Jpn didn't. Their timeline was normal. Didn't hear people complain about that. Why does our version have to be so special? Why can't we just follow the usual timeline up until wwdc?

(Build up to the global sync) Note: Global celebrations are going to be cut down a week, speed up part 2 Lr releases and will also have overlapping releases like phy rose. I'm going to bust a gut laughing if after the 10th Anniversary Omatsu says "I know we haven't unified the two versions completely yet but I'm sorry to say this is an end of service announcement". I can see people losing their minds and going completely ape.

Tbh at this point on time, most of us care for the newest units, those banners have 10 featured ssr per banner (40 units per 4 banners, on the past btw we had 2 banners only, which increases your chances to get something useful, but now those chances are divided by 2 on those 4 banners, and then what another 2 banners more with other 2 new units? to decrease your chances and tempting everyone to invest more money? like the coin system that they eventually released another coin, so more new coins incoming?. On my personal experience, even when summoning on the heroes banners (that are way better since it's a guaranteed ssr featured on each multi and not a step up banner) never guaranteed me the units I wanted, I'm still missing god trunks, harts, golden cooler, golden ape cumber, ssj4 gogeta, limit breaker vegeta, limit breaker goku and so on so yeah... this aniv "step up banner" are still a joke tbh, if they reduce the banners to 4 featured units, then we're talking, otherwise it's a big bait, but hey it's something I guess?. Btw I wouldn't mind, if they put the other 5 older featured units on a separate banner that new players can also summon, and the people that doesn't care about those units just skip them... About the units missing on global, I wouldn't mind if they giveaway 1 copy of all of those units+the stones of each event releated to those units releases. Now that the sync is real? what's the point on summoning on this aniv, when they're going to return on 7 months with other 8 powerful units than the current aniv cards, and also when teq ui it's coming+the new units on the dl celebration... Almost 10 years of this game and still we're missing a lot of obvious categories and links on cards, for example: why namek saga characters aren't space traveling warriors for example? nail is namekian, but the rest???? and that's one example of many that aren't on the game (sigh)...

I still prefer to have 3 free attempts than finding 150 more stones for getting the lowest featured unit in said banner over and over, i had recently got such an outcome on 2 different banners in a row and i kinda don't want the same result again, especially on anni. At least if it's a random SSR, i'm mentally more ok than finding a shiny dead unit back to back.

everyone acting pretentious about the semantics in the word "sync" and the communitys expectations. when the expectations were set by ALL THE OTHER GACHA GAMES WHO HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE AND HANDLED IT INFINITELY BETTER THAN DOKKAN

Another random theory based on nothing is that they'll bring the characters we don't have back for the anniversary and we'll both get it at the same time. I know these units usually come back in March of the next year for JP, but bringing them back in 5 months for the anniversary I don't think will be a stretch and it'll only make Global wait just a little longer than they would have even if it dropped at normal time for us. It would also make the 10 year anniversary even hype for both versions of the game. This would probably be the least controversial thing they could do.

If they were going to add these limbo units in other summons/tickets they would have done so earlier with turs instead of backing themselves into a corner with a dokkan fest LR and Two other LRs.

Yeah no, I'd rather stick to the old system with the tickets and the 4th multi being free. The guaranteed featured doesn't mean anything because you could still get ass units (10% chance for the 10 featured banners). So yeah I'd rather get the extra multis which could still get me multiple featured units per multi instead of that brainless new step-up.

If I can be real about the dokkan now. It really felt like they were not hyped at ALL to talk about it. Their voice sounds bland, and really sounded like they were just reading off of a board. I am happy about some things but it really just felt like they wanted to rush through it with little info just to get it over with. Just listen to their voice.

No one should've been surprised that all JP exclusives would not be out before WWD. Confirmation of when the release schedule will be the same was good. They could've done it the past year, but hey, we're not in the past anymore, and I think it was just unbelievably naive, to put it mildly, that UI, presumably Jiren, Toppo and Cell Max would be out before the sync of the schedules. We dont even know when exactly those will release; they could be the regular length of time away (UI in November, Jiren in January, etc) or they could all be hastily released in October/november, especially now that Heroes is over.

Do you really think a business is going to give more value in a change? No they are going to benefit and only make a change at little to no risk to their profits. It’s what everyone does. Same company that changed rates years ago and same company that hasn’t done anything for a year when it comes to the “synch”

Imo the theory that characters will come first for global when they return for jp just straight up makes zero sense. They want money. They are going to release each new units on their own big banners to make more money. If they were willing to add them as fillers in future as their first appearance (I.e teq UI on saiyan day) that is effectively the same thing as adding them onto any upcoming banner in terms of profit. There’s also the insane amounts of content that comes with the tanabata celebration

So I need to save up 2oo more stones lol

15:08 This is just wrong to say they haven’t done ANYTHING to progress towards the sync. Global skipped through a bunch of Ultimate Clashes to get the same enemies as JP (and we’ll probably get the exact same version very soon), Global was given a bunch of World Tournaments more often than usual over the last few months and now we’re only 1 WT away from being matched with JP, Global has all of the Super EZAs that JP has, and Global only needs one more update to be matched up with quest mode stages. To say nothing has been done would mean that none of what I just said occurred.

Congrats on 90k! Here is my theory based on nothing: We will get Toppo after anniversary so that's a non-issue. That mostly leaves Cell Max, UI Goku, whatever JP gets for the next part whether it's Jiren or whatever. Then whatever Dokkanfest JP gets between the next part and the Worldwide campaign. We will still get Tanabata when we normally would. It'll just drop alongside whatever else both versions have going on at the time. It's likely we will have some special tickets or discounts to make up for having all that content at once on Global. The real issue is that dropping these absolutely busted units for Global players *right* before the 10th anniversary will be dirty as hell. The ultimate bait. Them dropping those right before the 10th anniversary will be the new controversy. Edit: I also quick wanted to add my opinion on the new banner format. I've had to pity every single yellow coin LR that has come out since they added the GSSR for those banners. That bad luck has caused me to have a bias against that feature on banners. I'd personally just rather have more multis.

It’s a game at the end of the day, I just hope people will do the same complaining about things that truly matter to society. I can get both sides but people complain about things being good or bad in life so why don’t we all just sit around and relax. Trying to figure out what a company is doing is too much stress for people .breathe. We are gonna be in 9th soon. Enjoy this & move forward

People lowballing the possibility of new units just dropping when they are set to return on jp don't seem to understand that its not just about the units... New units come with celebrations and associated missions and rewards, returning units dont, global players will miss out on hundreds of stones and rewards, not to mention getting units when they come back run the risk of them not being as relevant anymore. Even tho the step ups are cool it dosnt make it up to global in the slightest.

I feel like the new step up system is just strictly better? One rotation with the new system is 255 stones, with a guaranteed feature. To do the same number of summons with the old system you'd spend 300 stones. So you're missing out on 1 free multi, but saving 45 stones and getting a featured ssr

Be upset on our behalf, thats why we are watching videos like this. Downplaying things is how they get away with stuff and dont feel the community backlash. Being calm about the bad changes is being complicit with them happening. 👎

The only thing that boils my blood is the days and times they drop most new content. I work a highly physical night shift job and while it's cool when EZAs and stuff drop right before I get home, I'm dead exhausted and I force myself to play Dokkan when I don't feel like it bc I love it that much but I would much rather new content, banners, etc drop Friday night-Saturday...like the weekend, when majority of people don't have obligations. They usually drop banners the beginning-middle of the week middle of the night...why not just drop banners and content on Friday night when everybody getting paid? Lol.

I depends how you see it for the step up, the GFSSR is still not guaranteed to get the new unit and i bet many ppl have been shafted in the past, so some might say 3 extra multis might be better, but if they throw some tickets in there yeah its a win but i highly doubt it

I would watch truth for his builds but he just so toxic. That why I drop the seven deadly sins game because of nagato (not nanogenix) for example nagato says “oh hey get this busted unit” so he whale max it out then next video he says that the unit is so bad and calling everyone idiots or stupid for summoning. Truth is fine I like he doesn’t act like this but most people summon on character who they like. As truth logic for a good character if you can no item a red zone. I have almost every busted unit and I still bad at the game lol.

this whole thing reminds me of when Bethesda showed a teaser for ES6 years ago just for the game to still be year away. even now years later we are still a couple years away from it probably. hypes people up but only ends up ruining it once people come to the realization that they have to wait so long. i get trying to hype people up but its all about the timing imo
