Haha this week is for the guys, great to see Jake so happy with the up grades on the ranger, the guys at the shop did a great job, good getting all this done so you can go off on lots of new adventures, take care Lil and Jake, enjoy stay happy, your both good eggs.👏👏🙏❤️💃🕺
Now you've got you're upgrade, can't wait for the next Lil and Jake " getting out there and seeing another part of this great Southern Land" that we call Aus! Nice one Jake - like the 'upgrade smile too! Liz got her narration! Jake got his GVM! Sounds fair!! Thx phil
You’re a (big) kid at Christmas Jake! Too funny. Really happy for you guys leveling up. I think Lil deserves a little upgrade of her choosing…. We got ya back Lil!! ✌🏾
Hi you two, I like these upgrade shows, not being a mechanic it’s a learning process for me. The adventure side of the videos are great but the mechanic's side is very important and it keeps us on the road and of cause safety is paramount.especially when your taking your kids in the outback. That Ranger has done so well I mean you do put it through some mean places. Jon🇦🇺😘
Bloody brilliant guys 😊 As you would've already known by now, you'll notice a massive difference and wish you would've done the upgrade earlier!! Love the beauty new look too 💪 Looks tough and great
I noted that ot looks like you are still running the stock exhaust.. I'd really recommend upgrading to the Torqit exhaust. More torque, more power and more importantly, better fuel economy. Fairly cheap upgrade to get many benefits.
Hey! Yea that’s something that’s on the list, but I think we’ll wait until the cars out of warranty then go with a tune and exhaust, thanks for watching!
Don’t forget to think about replacing your EGR cooler 100,000ks could be time and if yours is automatic get rid of the ford transmission cool and put a external auto cooler on
Yep, really thinking about it but car still has 2.5 years of warranty left so haven’t touched it yet, yep got the trans cooler, works mint! Thanks for watching!
I absolutely love you guys fav travel RU-vidrs by far❤️ love the build the bar was definitely a upgrade but the tough dog suspension isn’t remote res so no doubt you going to have problems with over heating especially the rear set up you might have bigger Leafs but the shocks are tiny an just honestly I haven’t had good experiences with tough dog, also the tyres are you know not great maxxis are the go your build 100% just was a bit of a down grade with suspension an tyres, money would have been better for tune an intercooler etc for longer last motor but love the build guys top job🤙🏽
Awesome vid, what brand are your rock sliders as I have a ranger space cab and would like to get some and yours is the first I’ve seen with them cheers
Hey legend, definitely getting a new spare tyre, they just didn’t have any in stock in Adelaide at the time. So in the next couple of weeks hopefully 🤞🏼
Does the GVM upgrade include a federally appoved GCM upgrade (factory 6000kgs) and an upgraded rear axle (factory 1850kg). Cause I’m guessing with a good quality canopy, boat, upright fridge, a whole heap of stuff in the rear, a full tank of fuel and your tow ball weight, your at best on your limit of your new GVM. Your probably hundreds of kgs over on your rear axle, and if you’re at 3500kgs which is your new GVM (cough cough)in the Ute it means your van can only be 2500kgs to stay under the factory GCM. I do love you guys but getting sick of most you tubers not giving a s#!t about trying to be legal. Watch Svendos tripping when they got there BT 50 weighed about a year ago. Same sort of set up. Massively over everywhere. The guy was devastated. Got rid of his boat and just about everything else to get legal and i think he still had a problem with his rear axle.
@johnnysmith9916 hahaja it's recommended look how many rangers are forsale over 150k with new motors due to injectior failure, mines had a motor at 125,000 due to injectors my mates did a motor at 140 due to injectors
@@benni727 depends how you look after them and depends what diesel you use if you service them that’ll last the 200k plus like mine im pushing 37s with 270whp injectors have 214k kms on them no issues I’m on factory motor too always run bp diesel an petrol everything else is fuvked
Do yrself a favour mate and replace yr injectors trust me I had a injector go and cracked piston, 26k later after buying brand new engine plus all the extras
