These are the ordinary Kiwi places (small towns) that most tourists never really see. They're not glamorous but it's fun to watch you exploring them.

Haha, the "stunt planes" are the Royal New Zealand Air Force! You were right next to our largest airbase.

I’m from Whanganui so glad you came through my city. Love your channel. Whanganui has some beautiful sight seeing activities. We have the unique lift ( only two in the world like it, Germany has the other Mado) it travels up through the hill from the city centre to Durie Hill where the war memorial tower stands tall over the city, with beautiful river and moutain views - stay safe Kia kaha x

It’s so fun watching you guys explore all these small towns around where I live 😂 Waireka honey is so good, if you go there in the middle of the day it actually gets so busy with everyone getting their honey ice cream fix. Next time you’re going through bulls you’ll have to spot all the ridiculous bull related signs they have up around the town

Kia ora guys, definitely love your version of travelling aotearoa (nz) above all others, it surely must come with its up and downs but hey live it and own it i say, as for infrastructure, theres nothing worst than travelling a country with pot holes everywhere...hehe! Damn Aotearoa is beautiful! loving the layout, the coast and the houses along the mountain. To be honest this has been the handiest gig so far while travelling as were just looking after animals and at the moment asking around the area for little jobs here and there to pay for food and fuel. don't get me started with the potholes they seem to be everywhere 😭 the car feels like a rollercoaster sometimes 😂🙈 haven't been following the politics. and its the first we heard of it!

Eltham is pronounced Al-tham. Glad you enjoyed Taranaki. The next place you stopped at is called Hawera. Pronounced Har- where-ra (roll the R). Now you know you can also get milk from Bulls. That plane area is called Ohakia (pronounced O-Har-Key-Ah) which was a military air base but is now for commercial flights

Motorways are only near the major cities. Bulls, for instance, is on the main road, State Highway 1.

Thats the cheapest I've seen around that time of travelling but I've found some around the same price just outside wellington now actually! We took the main roads, basically following Google maps, @cnm757 exactly what you mentioned theres only motorways near the big cities 😂 In fairness I prefer it this way as I like driving through little towns on our travels, I feel that it creates a more authentic experience :)

No refinery in NZ - we had one but it closed because it was not economic to upgrade it. There is a related reason for the fuel to be lower the closer you are to a port that has fuel storage facilities. In this case Wellington and possibly Wanganui

Learn the CAA 101 Drone laws guys because it's treated extremely seriously in NZ with Police attending if someone calls them. Also the CAA do troll youtube looking for offenders. Take care 👍🤙
