@@usmanibrahim5824 Truth be told, I live in Japan with my family and Japan is my home. For me the biggest barrier would be many of the cultural aspects. I drink casually, I eat pork and my Japanese family is very against religion (not because of Islam, but because of many religious cults in Japan that have caused many incidents in the country). Although I do believe in God, I feel that culturally it's quite a hurdle for me and my family, and I feel it would be very disrespectful to Muslims and Islam if I converted half heartedly without the willingness to make those changes in my life.

A reminder to myself first and foremost Here's some questions we should ask ourselves every so often to keep us in check... Did you remember death and the grave, your final return to Allāh Azza Wa Jall? Have you kept up to date with all sunnah and nawafil rakahs in your salah or are you limiting your reward to just observing your Fardh? Have you pondered over how to better your salah and how to be closer to Allāh Azza Wa Jall ? Have you made the most of the hours in your day especially knowing that Allāh will ask how you utilised your time for his cause? Have you given to charity or helped the poor and needy in any way? Have you praised Allāh for the blessings in your life and for the blessing of Islam? Have you asked Allāh to keep you strong in faith? Have you recited the Dhikr of morning and evening/ remembrance of Allāh in general? Have you asked Allāh to protect you from the hell fire 3 times today? Have you asked Allāh for Jannah 3 times today? Have you tried to give up bad habits/ bad company and gatherings to help you better yourself as an individual? Have you tried to sacrifice your desire that's making you distant from Allāh Azza Wa Jall? Have you read up on any authentic hadiths/ implement any teachings of Muhammad sallAllahu alayhi wasalam? Have you read any ayah of the Qur'ān? Have you wept today for fear of Allāh Azza Wa Jall?

That is why I am going to receive the Quran because I know what is going on in this world I am following all the rules in Islam I have already completed qaida. From this day I will start reading the shifira the book of all the Surah that we need. I will not sell the deen nor I will say that haram is Halal never ever.
