2 of the most inspiring people on SM. Pierre, being French, feels and lives within that European existential angst. Nicky, being a bit younger and American, has that more sunny and positive outlook on life, without the self-consciousness that can be destructive and self-undermining. It is like watching an interaction between a young Sartre and Keanu Reeves lol . Both outlooks are valid and neither are perfect. What is perfect is the way you guys communicate and arrive at a place of support and very obvious love. What you show in this short vid is almost never seen on reality shows or SM. I understand both positions to be honest. I love Pierre and Nicki, they are a lovely couple. Of course, I don't personally know them and of course they'll portray the moments they want to portray but I want to trust them and how their smiles make my day and they make me happy for the simple fact that love exists, silly love and real love despite age, sex and so many other factors that usually divide us. And I'm just a single, anxious and sad woman that doesn't need a relationship right now but is currently struggling with so many personal things that success stories from other people make me compare myself a lot and feel so crappy about myself... Because I'm not there, I'm here just surviving another day, not living anymore. So... I get that people in bad stages on their lives can't always consume happy media or happy influencers because it can be painful, really painful. It's a hard thing to acknowledge but sometimes it's necessary to move on and that's okay to me. Not everybody is ready for your content and that's okay as they are respectful and not hating on you of course. This video was wholesome. it was 37 mins but felt like few minutes. I really love that video. They were discussing their problems calmly and after that they are making up beautiful. They are a beautiful representation for a couple. Like most of my elderly person i know they never solved their problems calmly and always things got out of their hand. Being 41 I can totally relate to Pierre, feeling like you don’t have enough time to do everything you want. I have battled cancer 4x and have been told it will keep coming back until I can’t fight, so yeah with getting older then that prognosis I feel like I’m running out of time, if I’m not doing a lot I start to panic and feel bad that I’m letting life slip by me, there is so much of the world I want to see. I was supposed to go to New York myself back in March 2020, it got cancelled the day before I was due to leave because of covid, I should really get that rebooked, I also want to go to Japan, Paris and see more of the US, when u are getting closer to 40, it does make u think, u may feel that way Nicky when u get to that age or u may not, but it’s defo relatable. I have a nephew called Pierre 😊 I have 4 who have French names as they lived there for a good few years, I think their mum was French, it’s my brothers husband kids

It's nice to see Pierre and Nicky be vulnerable, we all fear judgment - I can't imagine living out your life with so many others weighing in. I guess it's important to remember that people will always love/hate no matter what you do. There is value in subscribers of all ages seeing that every relationship takes real work underneath, no matter how 'easy' it may look to others. Hopefully I can weigh in on a few thoughts, I guess since this content is public we're all invited to join in. Pierre seems to put a lot of responsibility on his shoulders that isn't really his to bear. It's not Pierre's responsibility to make everyone around him live their best lives. We are each responsible for ourselves as adults. I can relate to time being short (it is for all of us) and we all have to balance our lives. It's on us to do that for ourselves. My 99 year old grandpa might have something to say for Pierre thinking he's running out of time at 30 though lol. Life doesn't stop at 30 or 40, though of course there are constant changes. There are also good things about getting older. Lots of good times ahead hopefully for Pierre and his loved ones. I applaud Nicky for speaking up when there is an issue and for setting boundaries, that's so important in a relationship. If he doesn't feel safe sharing certain parts of himself with the audience he doesn't have to, though as a viewer it's nice to see reality vs a facade so I appreciate those under-the-surface glimpses. As for birthdays, I know a few people who get sad or stressed on their birthday. I've known a lot of young people who passed too early, and I think that influences me seeing every birthday as a gift - the realization that not everyone gets another year. I try to internalize that and it's given me a lot of gratitude for each passing year. Hopefully Pierre can find his own reasons for celebration in the future. Learning to reframe life circumstances and practicing gratitude are both good practices that have helped me shift my mindset and fight depressive tendencies.

Happy Birthday to you both! Some observations from someone who is older than both of your ages put together. Jack Benny was one of the most successful and beloved entertainers for decades. His tv network commissioned a poll asking if the respondents thought well of Mr. Benny. 97% said they did. When he was shown the results, Jack said, “What did I do to the other 3%?” Concentrate on the positive and don’t pay attention to the haters. If someone has constructive criticism, that’s one thing, but don’t let bitter people who just want to tear down the happiness of others get to you. Just pity them, wish them well and move on. It’s something I had to learn because I was mercilessly picked on in school and it took me years to come to terms with it, and I did. Just because someone calls you a name doesn’t mean it’s true. Still hurts some times, but I don’t let it rule my life. Something you may consider, Pierre. You could be experiencing Seasonally Affected Disorder (SAD) since this depression comes around your birthday in the winter. It happens when the daylight starts getting less. I suffer from it, so I’m usually depressed from October to February. It gets worse around Christmas. Lastly, you two are the content creators. You should put out what you want to. It doesn’t have to reflect your “real” life in minute detail. We all have real lives. I, for one, look for things to entertain me and inspire me to be a better person. That’s what I like about your videos. Especially, the short ones where Pierre goes all French Hulk and Nicky looks like he is afraid for his life. After watching this, I felt how much you might feel burdened by making contents for us everyday and it really is a hard procedure. I love that Pierre is able to confront and deal with his feelings so easily. I wish I could do that but I box up my emotions and when I do finally let them out they are so built up that people think I'm over exaggerating but I'm not. PS Nicky is such a good boyfriend for listening to Pierre and comforting him. 😍😍❤❤
@@nathelondon3719That’s mean to say. My partner has anxiety too and they’re just trying their best. Sometimes we can get caught up in our own intrusive thoughts. It’s not something we have to “put up with” like some sort of chore. It’s just something we’d to navigate together. It’s not an opportunity to make it about myself.

@@nathelondon3719 So, anxiety makes you self centered? Also, selfies take about 5 seconds to 5 minutes to take. I don’t think that’s a fair to assume that he took selfies for hours while Nick was working. After all, Nick was the one that pushed for a greater social media presence in the first place. Pierre has all this uncertainty and anxiety about being on social media but still did it partially for Nick.
@@musicdiary5768 pierre was always in the foreground of their posting . It was Nick in the background showing anxiety. Especially when it came to singing in the studio in Paris. Pierre got the financial benefits and probably a green card.
Pierre, I’m watching this and loving every second of vulnerability that you and Nicky shared with us. I address this to you because I think you’ll be more likely to see this. I experience a lot of anxiety my birthday too. Maybe it’s a Virgo thing. Maybe it’s a perfectionist thing. But I’m grateful you’re sharing your authentic self to the internet. There’s no better way to truly connect than to be your true self. Thank you, Nicky and Pierre, for showing real content. I love the videos you guys post. I love watching your love and your happiness, and I admire you both for being brave enough to show that to the world. But this, showing an intimate part of yourselves, giving us a glimpse of your true feelings about how you automatically get judged by the public, behind all of the smiles, it just really shows you both are "normal" people with "normal" feelings. And Pierre even sharing the anxiety that builds up from working and getting older, these are worries other people have as well. And them actually including this in the video, talking about it together, which should be a private moment with them but instead they chose to share with us, is quite remarkable. They clearly want to portray their real selves, while also help connect with the LGBTQ+ community, like Pierre mentioned. I just want to give you both so much love. You both deserve to be happy. With each other and about yourselves too. It's hard to ignore hate comments, of course. Especially if you job is a social media influencer, because even if you do want to ignore the numbers, you kinda have to know your viewers too and pay attention to what content is good etc. But at the end of the day, I think it's worth reminding yourselves that you do this for yourselves. To spread and share your happy moments with other people, and now also real moments that talk about more pressing issues. And to try to focus on the love you receive, and that "age is just a number". Honestly though: if you're happy, you're happy. You shouldn't give the power to determine your state of happiness to anyone but yourself. Love to you both, Nicky and Pierre.

For people to leave negative comments because you're enjoying your life only means that they are greatly insecure about theirs. Only insecure people will feel negative about people living happy lives. As a gay guy, I love seeing you too sharing the happy moments of your life. It inspires me to live freely and find my own happiness too. Of course there will always be not happy moments and it is on you if you want to share them or not.
