God hears our prayers for sure. I'll never forget, about 12 years ago I was out picking up my nieces from school and a tornado formed and was headed right for Garland. I cslled my wife, who was at home with our kids in the closet. I'm listening yo the radio and suddenly thry announce that the tornado turned and was moving away from Garland. When I get home my wife tells me one of pur kids was praying that the tornado would turn. He's mighty and he's good
One of my sons prayed for the car wash to stop since it was freaking him out. It broke. I praised him for his faith and the prayer and said don’t do that again. Thank you God for rewarding his sincere heart.
@user-ky9jj3dz6j An Ecclesiastical view is necessary - even disasters and tragedies sometimes befall all of humankind. But by God's sovereignty He can choose to protect those he loves from a certain temporal threat. The view of perfect divine sovereignty somehow being required to ignore the prayers of people is too extreme; even though the universe is full of unfathomably complex causality that normally takes its course of increasing entropy, that just provides God many possible ways to work to enact protection of his people, if He wills, so it is still worth the effort to pray to God. There is no such thing as complete chaos within a causal system, and because the universe is a causal system, nothing is outside the ability of God to affect. Also consider, God knew from before the moment of creation what we would each individually pray. Our physical needs are met by God within the universe He created, including all prior and future causality.
I just came across this. I would have been so scared and praying so hard just as you were. I ask the Lord to watch over you and keep you safe. I'm in Arkansas and pray we're not next.
I can’t imagine being camping and this happens! We were in a tornado warning 2 years ago while camping and it was nerve raking! I want to be home and in my basement, on the couch with my TV on the weather channel ! Kudos to you for capturing this!
Hey Jill! Glad you posted…I was going to message you! Nothing per se going on here in the Ark-La-Tex. I think everything will be north of us across the Oklahoma line. Keeping yall in my prayers
Beautiful footage of tornadic winds in a storm shift and move!!! I appreciate your bravery, and I'm so thankful you and your family are ok! I was praying for you during your video, even though it had happened already, but GOD transcends all space and time, so I hope, even believe my prayers and others were heard!! GOD bless!!!
I hope your town was OK and no one was hurt plus it looked like the storm really got crazy halfway through your video so please be safe and healthy too
I’m in Terrell and it’s almost here. My poor tomato plants :-(. I’m watching your storm- good grief it just gets worse and worse- I hope y’all are okay!!
My heart was racing for you! Hope everything was okay! I live in TN for a min and I could not take the storms and out and away I went! Y’all are way stronger and tougher than I in these states!
I’m at Coyote Flats, it got rough. Daughter in Springtown has her neighbors new barn in her back field. Stay safe. At least one good thing, got fertilizer down Saturday
It's amazing that the rain blowing sideways, started getting so strong, that it looked like water spraying from a firefighter's firehose. Danggg! And I could see a "J"-shaped "hook" of rotation, on that TV weather radar shot, as well. You sure have steady camera hands when facing-down tornado weather, ma'am. It sort of reminded me of the song, "I Am Bound for the Promised Land," (standing on Jordan's stormy banks, but trusting in Jesus).
Amen ! I fully trust the Lord to protect us and I am bound for the promised land. Amen and amen. He has been so good to us and protected us through many of these situations. Don’t get me wrong if I looked on the radar and saw a very strong tornado like an F3 or above, possibly even an F2 we would have to try and outrun it. Our structure simply wouldn’t survive something like that.
@@ntxg Amen. And even if it's his will that something ever is allowed to happen, we know where we're going. We have his "Blessed Assurance," as the beautiful, Fanny Crosby hymn says.🙏
This is so scary, because our daughter lives close to you. It barely missed. I didn,t get to see it until now on your video. Love you ! So glad that storms over. We,re waiting on ours. It will have 70 mph winds
Oh my gosh be safe Jill I was watching a weather channel and knew you had some in your area in east tx here it usually calms down by the time it gets here 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank You God for surrounding Alvarado with a heavenly golden dome of impenetrable protection rendering them invisible to any evil formed against them. Thank You God for hearing our petition with a positive outcome for these genuinely godly servants. Thank You God for all the prayer warriors lifting these people up to you for safety. Amen
We are a little southeast of you and got some hail but no tornado activity. Glad y'all are safe. Springtime in Texas will definitely keep you on your toes!
I was in fear of this in sw Oklahoma yesterday. We haven't been able to get a cellar at our new house yet. I've always had a cellar. Thankfully it didn't hit us like that! Prayers for all who endured the bad stuff! God bless all!
72 years old here. Grandma lived in Comanche. Many a trip through Alvarado going between Dallas and Comanche. As I recall the bad weather was always in that area as well as the Mineral Wells area. Old Hwy 67 on a line that tornadoes seems to be prone to storms and tornadoes. Hope y’all came through ok!❤
Weatherman Plus today April 2nd put out a Severe Weather warning for you all Next Saturday. April 7th for severe storms crossing North Texas ! bring indoors all chairs and loose items into your garage/ storage and any misc. items that could go airborne. Start battening down the hatches this week before Saturday ! He always reads an enouragng scripture at the end . Amen.
Man, God is good! So glad he kept y’all safe. I moved up here to Dallas last year. Born and raised in Houston so I’m used to hurricanes. I hear tons of tornado stories from my customers and I’m always praying for God to keep all of us safe out here!
We didn't get much here in central Texas. The eclipse has gone bye and now we're under a tornado watch untill 8:00pm tonight. Got most of my plants in garden planted. Have a good week
Thanks for documenting this. It was a scary couple of minutes. 😢We live in Alvarado too (howdy, neighbor! 😊), and the tornado clipped us a little, but no significant damage. Definitely was our closest call yet in the two years we've lived here in Texas. I just subscribed to your channel; so glad there's a gardening channel coming from my new hometown! I'm a newbie just trial-and-error'ing my way forward with it, so I'll be tuning in frequently. Got a couple trays full of tomato and pepper seedlings I'm trying hard not to kill 😅. Praise God for His protection last night! 🙏 🙌
I went to grab canning jars yesterday, only 2 were there. I brought my 3 gas containers and thought I’d fill them. Nope. No gas here. Y’all need to pray and prep. I was without power for several hours today too. No reason. God is giving us signs. Pray and prep. 7 years of tribulation is upon us.
I hope you're safe. There's a lot of weather modification happening the last 3.5 years; right now it's getting worse every day. In the NE, torrential rain fall for the last 1.5 weeks. Right now 3 days of wind and rain then 2 days sun then 3 days wind and rain, then 2 days sun; reapeat pattern another 3 times. Not normal weather conditions .
🙏🏽many blessings ..from what the news says .,we will getting rain almost every other day coming .(April showers are Back ) ☔️ 🌱 the thing about rain it could be good and it could be bad☔️
Weatherman Plus on RU-vid put out an Emergency Warning 5 hours ago! Get one of those Nataional Weather service warning radios. Farmers Almanac said you all would be in the same Weather Zone as Montana this year ! Due to deep dip in the Jet stream in 2024.
Here in Southern California, these kind of storms happen in the wintertime, usually in December, January, February and early March. Especially during El Nino. Tornadoes are uncommon.
Wow that was nasty. I thought we were gonna get hit pretty hard on the east side of DFW but we only got some light showers. Glad you're safe, hope your property is good.
I'm sitting on the edge of my seat! Where were you standing? I'm assuming it was safe? Prayers for you and your family that storms pass you all summer. ❤
I'm in NE Texas. No tornadoes touched down last night. All of us seemed to have gotten severe thunderstorms. It was so warm last night & today it's cloudy & cool. It's that time of the year. More coming...
And this is why I no longer live in my home state of Texas. This weather is a constant in Northeast Texas. I now live in a state that has little to no natural disasters or this kind of weather.
