We are planning our future fun, connections, and spaces, so we all thrive.
Eagan residents love their parks and recreation opportunities. Nearly nine in 10 residents rate our parks a priority, and we work to reflect that community value and keep our parks current and inclusive.
Over the past decade, we've been working hard to meet the needs of our growing and diversifying community. We've built pickleball courts, added inclusive spaces like Nature Play at Patrick Eagan Park and Destination All-Play at Woodhaven Park, added a splash pad, and updated the historical site Holz Farm to serve as learning venues for future generations.
We are now taking the next step to invest in three key spaces that will continue to make Eagan a great place to play for everyone.
Eagan Art House: This 1950s farmhouse has been our community’s place to create since 1997, but it's time to create a new, accessible space for the thousands of guests who visit each year to explore their creativity.
Eagan Community Center: This is our community hub for connection, where hundreds of community members come together every day for various activities and events. We're excited to adjust programs and amenities to serve everyone even better.
Goat Hill Park: A winter play destination for skating and hockey, we're making it even better with a new shelter and pavilion, transforming it into a year-round amenity for everyone to enjoy.

Eagan’s investment in our parks and recreation facilities benefit the entire community. New facilities will provide more space for people to play, create, and connect. As the above projects mature, we’ll share more information on construction, funding, and timelines.
