My hubby and I are celebrating 35 years today. Happy anniversary to you both.

At 270 lbs I knew I needed a change since I have a horrible back. I started a proper portion change and have lost a total of 80 lbs in the last year and I eat what ever I want just in a set amount. Hard to start cause you still feel hungry for about 30 days but your body adjusts. Happy Anniversary 🎉

July 9th would have been my late husband's and my 35th Anniversary (he passed May 8th). Nowadays people don't go into a marriage thinking about it being a lifetime commitment. Just like a business, it's a partnership and has to be worked at. 🙏 for Stacey and her family.

Good Morning Cassie and Gary. Happy 16 year Anniversary. We have a Brazilian buffet near us sounds the same as us we have chicken hearts on our menu they can be chewy..the salad bar is awesome and a lot of other things on the buffet.

Happy happy anniversary! Please keep my family in your prayers. Late Sunday night the main house on my homestead burned to the ground. Thank you God my son, daughter-in-law and my grandkids all escaped with their lives but they said if they had hesitated even 30 seconds it would have been too late for all of them. Unfortunately, their 4 inside dogs did not make it. When my daughter-in-law woke up she saw a red reflection on their bedroom door and yelled to my son as she ran to the kids. He ran to help her and just seconds later when he ran back to get the dogs and their cellphones to call for help, his was was blocked by the raging fire. Thank you and may God continue to bless you and your beautiful family!

I’m just like you Cassie, but I’m adding fried rabbit, which was always my main craving with all 3 of my pregnancies, it’s been awhile though. I recall my husband calling all his hunting buddies trying to find rabbit because we didn’t have anymore in the freezer and my last pregnancy wasn’t during rabbit season..

Happy 16th Anniversary 💞 we went once with our two kids. We have never gone back either. You ranked it h higher than we did. 😅 I got that Whole 30 Cookbook, we need to try it. Those Hurts donuts are sooo sweet. My kids never want to stop there when we are in Branson. 😅 The butterflied seasoned lamb at Aldis, cook to your liking, is delicious. Lamb is normally cooked less than I like as well at restaurants. Cassie my fat clothes are tight, Gary's, what of confusion. 😅 Mine are too, I get it, I think that's more of a woman thing than a guy thing on the different sizes. I love that you don't make the kids eat with you, my mom used to make us join her eating changes, it was not fun. God bless.

We have a Texas De Brazil in Vegas that is amazing. From what I have heard each guy that comes around with the meat cooks it himself.

We make lamb for easter and xmas. My Mom worked for a greek lady and she passed the recipe to her and it is delish. Fork tender always, wish you were closer to me, I would have you for dinner. You would love it.

Happy 16th! Late hubby took me and our niece who lived with us to Fogo de Choa a Brazilian steakhouse here in Houston. It was a surprise, neither of us like surprises, he told us to dress up nicely, um for what??? We didn’t like the place at all. Well Barry did, (meat part only) but we’d rather go to Texas Roadhouse. Spent $$$$.

I loved the Brazilian buffet in our area. Unfortunately, I had a gastric bypass years ago and I can’t eat that much. I avoided the salads and sides so I could concentrate on the meat. If you want more of a particular meat, ask and they bring it to you. Depending on where you sit in the restaurant, they may run out before they get to your table. All we did was ask the next waiter who came to our table for a particular meat and he sent someone directly to us. It’s the kind if place that if you don’t speak up, you lose. I probably wouldn’t go back because of the cost versus the amount I can eat. I can’t finish a full meal at a regular steakhouse, so buffets are definitely a waste for me.

Cassie's reaction to the maple bacon bar sounds like an autoimmune flare. I did the same thing from a piece of Mamba's candy last week. It's an awful reaction, for sure. Whole 30 is very similar to the elim diet I use, the AIP (anti-inflammatory protocol).

Happy 16th Anniversary! I love it because I go there for the meat only. I try every piece that comes by...when you don't see them come back by with one you like you can ask them to send someone back over with the steak. You definitely want to eat your money worth in meat. That's where I tried Lamb for the first time. I was not a fan of it.

Texas de Brazil is great if you really like all you can eat, but like most AYCE, the meats are average. Try lamb at a Mediterranian restaurant, they do it much better. Shawkat's at 41st is really good.

Cassie try lamb rib choos on the BBQ with in order salt onion powder, garlic powder, and fresh ground pepper... bbqed til just not quite, well not well done just very slightly pink very very little... so good ❣️❣️❣️💜💜💜

Sounds like the South beach diet. Coming off of it I had stomach cramps after a half steak a dry piece of bread and a baked potato. Now I just do portioning.. no more diets for me.

I would like to lose and keep it off . I have back issues and can’t stand up to cook for over 10 minutes without going into a lot of pain. L4 and L5 in my lower back is gone. But I’ll keep trying. Not giving up. Didn’t mean to dump on ya. Sorry. I get it Cassie….. clothes clothes. I hear ya girl. We don’t eat added sugar, no corn. We use almond milk. We use Celtic salt or Himalayan salt. Even when you go to a Mexican restaurant at less when you go after a few times you visiting them it gets easier and the food tastes great !!!!

I don't think I could have done this either. I had some trouble during our first tour of Texas (Mexican food I had never had) and also in Germany - - though I figured that out quickly.

We don't eat fast food or even at most restaurants! I have zero trust in those places to provide clean, non rotten food! My wife does all our cooking. I'm not too good at cooking. We save a lot of money compared to how we use to eat. We are slowly changing to farm fresh, grass fed, organic type foods. I'll check out the whole 30 program.

Fogo De Chao is the best Brazilian restaurant . I have been to the one y’all went to an I agree it was different, I did not care for it , but I say try the other one I mentioned an I bet you will like it!!!!

Firstly prayers for Stacey…🙏…Also it cld be older sheep not young lamb…I’ve had a decent leg of lamb that’s cooks beautifully then another that’s been tough soooo…..that’s sad your Anniversary meal was dissapointing…. We don’t eat process food or suger in my hse… havnt eaten processed in 15 yrs.. I’ve never had suger…dont have a sweet tooth apart from an occasional bar of dairy milk… That diet sounds good well it’s not a diet like you said it’s changing the way you eat and the way you think about food… I wish you both luck with your new wsy if eating (I know you gave done it b4)…❤

Happy Anniversary y’all! I’m telling you! The best steak you will ever put in Your mouth can be cooked on a Green Egg! If you don’t have one then you should invest in one! I recently had a steak that marinated for three days then set out to room temp and cooked at 400 degrees on a Green Egg! Try it!
