We Are Samoa Festival 1999 - Part 5/13 (Leilehua) 

Leilehua High School
Held in conjunction with the "World Fire-Knife Dance Championship," the We Are Samoa festival features friendly competitions in traditional Samoan singing, dancing and crafting between several hundred students from high schools around O'ahu.
The purpose of this event is to bridge the gap between traditional Samoan heritage and the modern world and keep the traditions of Samoa alive through the younger generations.
