My cousin was 1 in 6. She and her partner really wanted a baby but fertility treatments never worked. Eventually they had to stop the treatment as they couldn't afford it any more. At our Nan's funeral, she sent out a silent message to our late nan that if she had a baby girl one day, she'd name her after her. Now she's a mother of two and, as it turns out, was unknowingly carrying her first during the funeral.
I don’t know if this helps. But, I’m an adopted child, now 53 years old. I have known I was a “chosen child” as long as I can remember. In all this time, there has literally never been a moment in my life that I felt compelled to search for any of my birth relatives. The reason? As much as I’ve always known I was adopted, in every way, and in every fibre of my being, I have also known that I was meant for my parents and for my family. That somehow the universe just righted some cosmic error in birth location, to make things right in my world and theirs. It would be dishonest to say I feel thankful every day for being a chosen child. Because the truth is, 99% of the time, the fact I am adopted doesn’t even enter my mind. What I am thankful for every day is for the deep, true and whole love I’ve had from my parents. I’m thankful that my parents have been my guiding lights, my true North, my safe harbour, my gentlest critics and my biggest cheerleaders. Their love and guidance had shaped me into the person I am today- and though not remotely perfect, I’m proud of who I am. So while I don’t know you or what your path will hold, I just wanted you to know, love finds a way.
Hope it never works out for you. Antinatalism is the ethical position that views the birth of sentient beings as morally wrong. The justifications are: harm/suffering prevention, the questionable nature of gambling with another life, & the impossibility of consent to be born. - No one has the moral right to inflict serious, preventable harms upon others without their consent. Existence brings preventable, guaranteed harm & is imposed without consent. Because a child cannot consent to being born, the default should be to assume that consent doesn’t exist and that no action should be taken on the child’s behalf. Just like how it’s not okay to r@pe an unconscious person just because they can’t consent to or refuse to participate in the act. - Everyone experiences at least some suffering, and some people experience disproportionately more suffering than others. Creating a life is inherently unfair & inconsiderate. - Everyone has the rights to eternal peace & the freedom from all harm, both of which can only result from never coming into existence. Therefore, every human being has the right to NOT be born so long as they can’t waive their rights by providing informed consent to being born. Procreation is the biggest violation of a being’s autonomy there is. - An opinion being “negative” doesn’t make it untrue. On the contrary, it’s realistic as suffering is inevitable, & it’s impossible for someone to consent to life. - Procreation is simply not anyone’s risk to take because they won’t be the ones suffering any negative consequences of their decision to procreate-their children will. - By procreating, you are intentionally harming your “loved ones” for your own selfish desires to attain a sense of control, purpose, fulfillment, pride, achievement, or superior social status. - There’s no reason to create a child that’s for the child’s sake. For a potential child, birth doesn’t solve any problem that it doesn’t first create. All positives in life, such as love, happiness, or good food are based on fulfilling needs, which get created by birth. Creating a life is creating a host of needs for no need. - A nonexistent “person” cannot miss out on anything good since they don’t exist & the nonexistent have no needs or desires, including the desire for life itself or any of its pleasures. - For the betterment of humans, the environment, & other sentient beings, humans need to go extinct. No one is being harmed by the extinction of humans since no one will exist to experience said harm. Who will care that humanity is ending if no one is around to care? - On the point directly above: Just because an outcome may be unwanted doesn't mean that the arguments are wrong. Even if you believe extinction is inherently bad, this does not justify the undeniable truth that reproduction violates the child’s consent to being born. This is an appeal to consequences, a logical fallacy. - Just because procreation is natural & societally accepted doesn’t mean it’s morally good. My heart goes out to all couples who are struggling. My husband and i are 1 of 6 as well, so i understand that feeling. I was recently told that even if i were to get pregnant, it would tesult in a miscarriage. To those who are parents, please do not take the gift God has given to you so lightly. Love him or her with every thing you have as some us of that really and ready to be parents are unable to.
I don't normally watch videos like this only because I am the one with fertility issues and yes this made me cry for you both. And in that same breath I started praying for you both and following because I know my God is able and y'all 's blessing us coming. In the name of Jesus I pray that you are able to get that positive and carry and have your bundle of my joy. May God continue to give you both guidance❤❤🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
We tried for almost 8 years. I managed to get pregnant three times during the last year we tried. I lost them all. The hardest part is not blaming yourself. Its not your fault.

We are in the same situation. It's incredibly painful to watch everyone else becoming parents while our arms are empty; especially when they spread comments and news about our personal struggles. I'm 1 in 6 with infertility, 1 in 10 with PCOS but I'm a Christian and My God can do all things. With Him, nothing is impossible. Focus on JOY (Jesus, others, yourself). Asking what God wanted us to do and starting that journey has been life changing. We were told to get ready to be Foster parents and God has given us big surprises one after the other. I will pray for you, because I know the power of prayer and I KNOW that prayer works. He will show you the way He wants and put in your path the perfect family for you both
I hope you get full arms soon in some way. ❤ We tried 3 Years and with little help we got your little Monster. Family is not about DNA, it's about feelings.. and you got a lot of love to give. ❤❤
Have you thought about volunteering at a woman's shelter or maybe feeding the homeless at a shelter? Visiting a nursing home? It can be very therapeutic and there are so many people suffering!
I have two friends that were told by specialists that they wouldn't ever be able to conceive children so they both stopped trying, one friend was told by the Dr that she wouldn't ever be able to conceive at all and then 6 months later she fell pregnant with her first and 2 years later had her second, and my 2nd friend was told that it was unlikely to happen so she fostered a child with her husband and then just as they decided to adopt him she found out she was pregnant with twins, they both ended up conceiving naturally even though they had both tried ivf, it goes to show specialists aren't always right, I have so much hope for you both, don't give up!!! ❤❤❤
@@auntieWarr yes they gave him a card with big brother on it and the adoption papers inside, the twins she had were boys so it's the 3 boys together they are a lovely family ❤️
This is a beautiful story! Also just keep in mind that these stories are not always helpful to those of us that hasn’t happened to. It’s not that you’re doing a thing wrong; you’re trying to encourage by telling us a story where it worked out. The truth is, we are always wondering why we’re not chosen to be parents naturally like those around us. Hearing these stories, in some seasons, just makes us wonder why we don’t get the miracle. Why we don’t get the miracle story. In some seasons, we just need someone to sit with us in the grief. We need to grieve and to have someone who isn’t scared by it and isn’t trying to fix it. Someone to show us that we’re okay as we are, not broken vessels. I’m personally in a season of joy Ava hopefulness heading into IVF, but i have had many times of grief where I just wanted to not be alone. I’ve heard the same from many others. You may be the exact person who does stand by the side of the grieving and let them grieve. So this may be for other onlookers reading more than for you. Either way, I just wanted to add this thought to the conversation. ♥️
You and Jared are the most beautiful and amazing couple that I have ever seen. Through good times and in bad, you two have stayed together and worked through every thing. With the love and support and prayers 🙏from not only your family and friends, but through your subscribers as well. You are the most loving couple that deserve to have a family of your own. I know you're going through some hard times now, but just have faith in God and he will grant you the best thing there is in this world.... the love of a child. I'm sending you prayers 🙏that will hopefully help you. Just keep going and maybe something good will happen. May God bless you both 🙏.

God can and God will bless you with children. He is the ultimate doctor turn to him and pray. I was told I couldn't have children and after 6 miscarriages I have a 16 year old son who is and was miracle baby with God all things are possible
Any child is going to be lucky to have you as parents. The heartbreak is just a bump in a long road. Once they spit up all over you at 5am you’ll see they are yours no matter where they grew.
We were there for 16 yrs and now God has blessed us with a big miracle due Sept 2023. Never give up hope. I hope you find help. Our friend did they used Donor sperm and now have 3 beautiful children
May God bless you with a child, the people who want a baby most are the ones who struggle but I am telling you I feel you will have a miracle soon. I will keep you in my prayers. I feel you 2 would be wonderful parents.
Honestly, I don't see why any woman would want to get pregnant. Pregnancy puts a lot of strain on a woman's body, and it is very dangerous, and has risks, and a pregnancy lasts 9 months. Also, childbirth is very painful. And also, raising children is very hard. Personally, I think being childfree would be a lot better than having children.
I know that is heartbreaking. I was told Derek never have kids when I was 20 and I understand about wanting young children but there are so many kids in the world who need loving parents like you and your husband. I don’t understand why you didn’t pour all the love that you to have into giving another little girl and a little boy all the love that they needed that someone else couldn’t give it’s just the same.
My prayers are always with remember Lord God hears our prayers answers when you don't expect your love is so strong you will have a family someday love you guys
Please don’t give up! 😢 your making me cry, I badly want children and everyone around me is getting pregnant but me …. Happy for them! But I get so down hoping one day it’s me!

Adoption there are so many children that need parents! Once they are in your arms you will be mom and dad forever! Biology is a very small part of being a parent🙏
True, but it is not as easy as many people think. In my country, there are 10 times more couples who want to adopt than children who can be adopted. Even getting licensed to be allowed to adopt sometimes takes many years. Mostly, it takes around a year. Afterwards, you can try International adoption which is extremely expensive (20.000 to 40.000 Euros) and again, takes a very long time

Diseases, natural disasters, & famine are all natural too, but that doesn’t mean they’re good. This is an appeal to nature, a logical fallacy. Slavery has been around for over 13,000 years. That doesn’t make it moral or ethical. - None of the nonexistent can wish to be born, but plenty of the living wish they had never existed.
Same here miscarriage back in 2021 and then a friend just told me she’s having a baby, happy for her but sad because seems like I’ll never get what I want 😢
Good!! I hope it stays this way forever! - There’s no reason to create a child that’s for the child’s sake. my friend was badly beaten up by her boyfriend after she revealed that she couldn't have children. he's 6 ft 5 black male and weighs around 300lbs. he punched her and both her eyes were black. he chocked her so hard that her airway swole up and she couldn't talk. im so glad you have a supportive partner who is willing to stick by you no matter what. he seems like a great guy and ive heard a lot of stories of infertile couples who kept trying and ended up with a healthy child. theres a couple on RU-vid. "the bells" they adopted a bunch of children because they were infertile and like a miracle they ended up getting pregnant and giving birth to beautiful little boy. never say never! a lot of parents with kids end up breaking up even though they have multiple children. I think you guys would make great parents and I hope you don't stop trying!
Please don't give. There is nothing God can not do. Dr's are not God.. pray to God he will answer your prayers and wipe your tears. I decree over you, You will have your child IJN 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏.
she could get donor sperm. But it would probably hurt his feelings. I feel bad for them, but they can definitely become parent's someday if having a child is the ultimate goal try all the options she can get pregnant it just wouldn't be the way they dreamed of.
The reason for the lack of sperm in the semen (azoospermia) can also be diseases of the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, which impair the production of gonadotropins (LH and FSH) and gonadotropins (GnRH). Did you do any brain scanning? There are many genetic misdiagnosis about infertility. Which specific gen is "different" in your case? There are many bioresonance treatment that can cure specific genetic abnormalities. Those treatments are way more common in Europe than US
I don’t really understand why people want to become parents so much. I don’t want to disrespect anyone but if someone wants to try explaining to me I’ll gladly listen.
You’re either to young to understand or too bitter and hurt to accept it if you’re asking why people want to fulfill the literal meaning of their biological existence

The yearning for children is like the urge to eat when hungry and the craving for sleep when tired. It's a deep deep seated desire down to the molecular level. Only biology can explain it.
There are not a lot of available infants. There are not kids just waiting a building to be picked up by couples. Anyone can foster single, married with or without kids. Those are temporary placements while parents recover from what issue is happening to them. Donor sperm, donor embryo, staying childless..
@@kristinesharp6286those aren’t temporary replacements? If that couple truly wants kids they won’t care if it’s biological or not? Adoption kids are not temporary
@@eklei2025 I adopted. Yes I know. I said fostering is temporary. My point to the original commenter is that there are not a lot of kids needing parents. Certainly not a lot of babies under 2. The spanish flu is not a pandemic taking people in their 30’s with small kids left behind. We don’t take infants from never married or abandoned women anymore. Those kids grew up and told us to stop that. You realize most the kids in orphanages overseas are not really in orphanages. They have a living parent or relative. They just like to set up feeding centers to give kids food and school without enriching and feeding their parent. So those numbers are off, meant to fund raise. If she has no issue go with donor sperm. They are more likely to end up parents. I’m still livid on their behalf they didn’t test him years ago. It’s the first thing, they do the sperm count and the dye test/blood work on her for hormones. Honestly.
@@kristinesharp6286 ooo makes sense!! I’m adopted too, I lived in orphanage however had no family. Sorry I mistake your comment, i just hate how people say children who are adopted have it easy or their not really your child.
