I'm not even American but listening to this is such a bop, even if you don't agree with the political leaning, the sheer vibe and meaning behind the lyrics is what I'm here for. If i could, I wouldn't choose any other country as the world's #1 Superpower.
You know, my dad was serving in the marines at the time of the Iran hostage crisis. He told me about how he and his fellow marines were really pissed at carter for what they saw as inaction. He had a shirt, forgot what it said it was something like “hey Iran fuck you usmc send me there” or something to that line, with of course Mickey Mouse flipping the bird.
It’s a mix between American Country music and Rock and Roll.. instrumentals aside, the closest type of genre in this aspect would be if you listened to a lot of the Irish Republican stuff
