17years old i live in South Korea(Daehan Choi) • Queen - We Are The Cha... I used this video for Backing track This is New Handmade Mouthpieces. Not for sale just my father made for me. Saxophone : Selmer SBA
I was reading your comment.. and I though to myself "Wtf this guy is too much sensitive.." and then 2:26 came in and my eyes were suddenly soaking wet hahaha
Guys....when you listen to him playing, especially at MD - try closing your eyes and feel everything. Totally different experience. Add a glass of wine...and you're done :) Thank you for sharing Daehan.
today I cried bc I couldn't play the saxaphone I got frustrated, but my mom told me that to keep trying and one day youll become the best saxaphone player ever just keep practicing, she held me until I stopped crying then she left me to practice, I kept practicing until I thought that it was good enough to show my mom, and so I did and she told me that I can achieve anything. the reason why im saying this is bc if your frustrated that you cant play or just anything in general, keep practicing or keep going youll achieve it one day.. :)
I've only just discovered you, but what I love about your playing is that you are playing sax over all sorts of different genres of music and it all sounding so beautiful.
Holy cow. Not a big fan of this song - but I am a big fan of this young guy’s playing. The control in the upper register and altissimo....is mind gobbling!
Sub2me543 It’s a Rock Anthem and I am a jazz, funk, motown fan. I have 120 gb of music and not one Queen song. Daehan Choi is brilliant on saxophone. He could be the next big smooth jazz artist! 🤗🇨🇦
Wow...absolutely stunning, the end made the hair on the back of my neck stand up ! I’m 53 and have just started learning three weeks ago. I can’t see me getting that good, but I will give it my best.. I’ve been watching lots of you tube vids and this is definitely the best I’ve heard, well done, keep it up 👍
I've paid my dues Time after time I've done my sentence But committed no crime And bad mistakes I've made a few I've had my share of sand Kicked in my face But I've come through And we mean to go on and on and on and on We are the champions, my friends And we'll keep on fighting till the end We are the champions We are the champions No time for losers 'Cause we are the champions of the World I've taken my bows And my curtain calls You brought me fame and fortune And everything that goes with it I thank you all But it's been no bed of roses No pleasure cruise I consider it a challenge before The human race And I ain't gonna lose And we mean to go on and on and on and on We are the champions, my friends And we'll keep on fighting till the end We are the champions We are the champions No time for losers 'Cause we are the champions of the World We are the champions, my friends And we'll keep on fighting till the end We are the champions We are the champions No time for losers 'Cause we are the champions of the World
Dude I've been listening to you in the background for a dozen videos or so, I can't believe how good this one was. Great choice in song, man I've not listened to a lot of sax but I imagine you are one of the better ones I've heard. BTW Livin on a prayer rocked, they all rocked.
@@amandasantini6265 Reeds are the piece of wood that vibrates against the mouthpiece when you blow into it. They can get worn out pretty easily, especially when playing hard and articulating hard.
one of the best things about watching you is seeing how you get better and better as time progresses. you're great in this video but ineffable in Livin'on a prayer and Havana
For this tune, does Dae Han Choi sound like Kenny G. or like Warren Hill or Eric Mariental, or Alex Han - not Alex Hahn, the great traditional jazzician. Dae Han, excellent!
That metal piece should give you even stronger altissimo. You have such great intonation up there. The alto sax is the biggest chameleon of all the saxes. Each player makes it sound so different. Consider how Paul Desmond sounded, or Art Pepper. Dave Sanborn brought in a big change, then the smooth jazz players. The alto sax style changed radically. What other instrument has gone through such changes? The alto sax presents the greatest challenge: how do you want to sound, and can you do it?
