We started our row in the community garden here at the ranch. We are currently in the Texas Hill Country on a friend's 330 acre ranch. We are surrounded by about a million grasshoppers. Are grasshoppers beneficial, or not? The "soil" is mostly rocks with sand filling the gaps. Can you grow vegetables in sand and rocks? Watch the video and see how that turned out, for us.
