I'm in a recovery group for veterans on my 86th day and brought my recovery group to elevation nights Vegas... Sitting in box seats God blessed us with so I only had to buy 3 of the tickets rather 9 so I could bless someone else with the chance to hear God's message for them
I'm changing my labels. God has given me people, a safe apartment away from abuse, a husband, a life that I never thought I would have and I have a future with that husband that has yet to come. But i kept labeling myself as insane for believing this life is true and that I'd be fine if I died. But now I want to change my labels. I want to label myself as blessed, gifted and that God loves me alive, it matters to Him if I am dead or alive. And I am beautiful. I really thank Steven for letting God use him to reach me in so many ways almost daily, God as used him to give me daily comfort, peace to sleep by and a way to be able to take my next breath. I am extremely thankful to God for keeping me alive.

Thank you for this sermon. I have been trying to change but kept failing. It's hard because when I tell myself I can change I don't truly believe it deep down. I'm going to tell myself that I can do all things thru Christ who gives me strength and that I can change until I believe it! I am well able to overcome it in Jesus name!

Fear is my greatest emotion that I feel from some of my mom's most treasured beliefs and views. I wouldn't ever want her passion, her message she feels called to share, to be something I cause her to feel discomfort about.... We love the same God and finding the spiritual Truths and comforts we can deepen our joy in fellowship and bond with...strengthens our individual faith and our relationship as well. We struggled our way to this shared peace...

I think it's important to have accountability,and people who give us opposing beliefs...The Bible says God wants us to test his word and promises so that to know for ourselves he is ...well, The Great I Am. I would say, I would like to have discussions of opposing beliefs with people who tend value from their walk with God...certain qualities and guidance and teaching ... resonate similarly with mine. I am always listen to another viewpoint .... but while there are Qualities of the Lord that are literally black and white .... His mercy for unworthy mortals and hunger for our devotion and Love ....are Truths and Qualities that are, in my experience best revealed to my soul ...in the shades of Grey that must exist in the spectrum between where God is black and where He is White. I admire your passion for Truth and desire for God to be clear and known in life. I think wrong and right depend on the mindset you have lived as you've grown in spiritual experiences ... Shades of colors and shadows can make the same belief or truth have a extrinsic definition that each of us will need pruned. What we know only in part...one day in full. Would you be able to worship and have devoted love if God was completely compiled into right and wrong...lies and Truths.... I think God's cause to make me wonder and question Him...slowly understand my brokenness that prevents me from seeing Him...is the Mystery of His all knowing omniscience that gives me most a feeling of quiet,stilled,awe.....
@@tracyboote God's instructions for living is very black and white. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. That should mean respect other people's right to have different views, opinions, to be thick headed, hard hearted or tender hearted to see the world differently than you etc as you would want that for you. I were some popular church pastor commenting a disagreement people would much more likely just say I disagree with you, not start throwing up accusations and or assumptions. I don't need one person on youtube's respect or sympathy. I don't think a lot of people who call themselves Christian know what being a good neighbor at all looks like or how to humbly say I am sorry for acting like how I think is never wrong.

WOW Pastor Steven!!! Once again the Holy Spirit's timing for your message was perfect for me! Thank you so much for being such a blessing and inspiration to me over the past few years! I lost my Mom on April 3rd to stage 4 CA...and my brother on May 3rd I missed the most of my 5 brothers (lost 2...now 3 of 7). Through GOD'S GRACE and the Holy Spirit's COMFORT AND STRENGTH, I was able to go to the TD Garden on May 5th to see you, Pastor Holly, Abby and Elevation Worship, my FAV Christian group band, with an elder Sister from a local Church. I also gained a new Sister in Christ I am still in touch with...and the Holy Spirit has blessed me with spiritual support. It's taken me several years up until I lost my brother in May to FINALLY TRUST OUR DAD AND BELIEVE HE LOVES ME FOR ME...HIS DAUGHTER!!! Labels have been something I have accepted from others in the past, healthcare providers and myself. I AM A NEW CREATION IN CHRIST, AS THE WORDS OF MAC POWELL'S SONG PROFESS.
