Awesome summary, thanks for this! A wee correction though: for Fridays commentary you said Alex De Minaur still hadn't dropped a set. He actually dropped his very 1st set against Raonic in R1 So far, only Sinner hasn't dropped a set.
I don't know if it's the first video like this, but you definitely should do it more often, helps to follow all the facts in and out the court, thank you
Great summary. I am enjoying the AusOpen here in Melbourne. A lot of strange matches and massive upsets. It’s a great event and everyday the place is crowded.
Its so difficult keeping up with all tve matches especially with how bad streaming tennis is in the US this format of videos is an absolute life saver for all those that cant watch the games
Australian open is good to start the new season with our weird untraditional atmosphere in the stands always singing and chanting it makes tennis feel different, alternative
My predictions keep coming true... The organisers FINALLY gave Novax a DAY match... But they made sure the weather was nice n cool at 20 degrees/cloudy before announcing the match and that would be the coolest day so far...gotta protect him... No-one can argue with this...
You didnt say a word to Novak's match against popyrin. There was a lot to be said about that match, Novak was milimetres away from being 1-2 sets down and then who knows what could've happened.
It was a tough match, but Novak went through to the next round, and that's all that matters, so objective achieved. There's not much point speculating about what may have happened if Popyrin had gone 2-1 ahead as it never materialised.
It's Novak. He always pulls through. He was 2 sets down against Djere at the USO and he came back and won it. How many times has he done that. And Novak was clearly not well and didn't have his rhythm yet.
Sinner is on fire, is the man to beat, he still hasn't drop a set , he recently won a couple of time against Nole, 3 times in a raw against Medvedev, he won 4 times against Alcaraz and lost only 3 times, he is the player of the moment .....but you only mentioned him briefly at the end of the video. What do you mean "how far he can go?" he is number 4 in the world he is not there by mistake.... maybe when he will become number 1 you will be to make some video about him, or maybe not, but for sure me not clicking subscribe to this channel, even if you don't care.
Id suggest a daily recap video instead of a weekly one. You could be a bit more detailed (if required) and include more updates and of course that would mean more videos and more youtube views.
Rune and Tsitsipas have to leave mouratoglou academy if they want to be winners. I don't think Patrick has what it takes to make champions. Only good players but not champions
