To go to a Ping Pong show is to facilitate human exploitation in Thailand. There were many attempts to help those people and close down this kind of business, but money and corruption always win here.
I have never paid to see a ping pong show, how times have changed. My favourite is the 'Dart Firing to Burst Balloons', amazing accuracy. You will have to train for quite a while to master that one Skye, lol.
I first went to Patong in 1988 very quite then most roads were dirt I had a bar on Bangla Road in 1990. It was a fantastic time cheap and very friendly the first place I rented cost me 1000 baht amonth I left in 2000 moved to Bangkok for a few years now in Hua Hin
You should have seen how Phuket and Pattaya was back in the day. How it is now is a small shadow of how crazy and alive it was. Now it's dead and quiet. Hoping it will get better. :)
in reply to a previous comment that i cant find - when hiring scooters out there you MIGHT not be insrd by your insurance so double check - you will also need to get a IDP - international drivers permit - you can get these at the uk in the post office - but out there also i believe
What was the date you visited Bangla road and what time did you go and what time does it close....???? Love your videos very informative and great content. I will be travelling to Phuket in May 🤩❤️
Which bar/club did you go to for the show? And what was the entry fee like? I want to go tomorrow as I’m in Phuket today but can’t decide which one on bangla road to go to 😭
I did show it in the video maybe if you pause, I think it’s Hollywood Phuket. Honestly we just went with a guy who said they do them lol. It’s like a proper boujee strip club! It was quite expensive I think we got “ripped off” cos other people said they paid 500 baht for their first drink so that’s the usual price to get in I believe
Lovely here love this place I love Phuket town make sure you visit the town while your here it’s quiet cheap here patong is really expensive over priced it takes 20 minutes to drive to Phuket on a motorbike it’s very cheap just outside patong you can get get accommodations for around 6000 per month Kampala is nice 👍
I like bangla road, I would go every night and sit at that food court half way down and just people watch. Plus the bar that is or was right next to it never bothered people unlike every other bar on the road lol haha. Then again that was 2019, no clue if that bar is still there and if that food court is either.
Honestly I don't understand how can you be advertising people to see a ping pong show knowing that women actually insert life fish and frogs into their vaginas and kill them...Not to mention the sex trafficking of those women who probably don't want to be there but were forced to.
It's funny how woman enjoy watching other women who are being exploited , degrading themselves in a show ... so next time thay go on about wanting to be respected .. well that's hypocrisy
Hi there, would you happen to know if two people traveling together (couple) 1 is vaccinated and another one not, how to go about that, do we still can isolate together for 5 days(new rules from April) where vaccinated person can still go out or it need to be in different hotels etc? Thanks:)
@@SkyeSamuels I did go there…but they said that the show was not actually there on Bangla Road…that they would put me in a tuk tuk to go to the show place in Patong Hill….did not sound right! 😟😩
Weird Q lol but at ping pong shows are they like live animals?? Like mice and budgies like you said? Cus rhat feels mean to me idk if I’d wanna see that you know lol
I’snt really sad that people go and watch other people go and self harm for the benefit of the tourists? To me it is really sad to see how women are viewed in Thailand. Ping Pong sex as you mentioned in the video it is traumatzing and maybe also desensitizing….
£35 Into a ping pong show 😂 they had you on completely ripped you off. It's 500 baht Into them. Phuket is just an exspensive tourist trap I went once and would never go again it's rubbish. There is better places to go in Thailand. Phuket is for Australians who are clueless about Thailand.
you have been ripped off like two complete newbies..and you are giving advice to others? You dont seem to talk to other travellers..ANYBODY would have told you that the "shows" are free apart from the obvious (small) markup on beer & drinks.
i don't think she gives advice about pu$$$$y shows. You being the pro when it comes to this, perhaps you can start a channel and enlighten those looking for that type of advice. I'll stick with Skye for the advice she gives concerning visas, covid restrictions, general travel to and in Thailand, etc.
@@luxuryseaviewvillas6744 I am disgusted by such places..but apparently others are willing to fork out incredibile amounts of money just to see those (free) shows. And the same people are giving advice on how to travel Thailand. LMFAO. Been to Haad Rin, BKK (soi cowboy!) and Phuket (chicken farm) clearly qualifies as an advisor to Thailand (LMFAO again).
@@paolomarini1085 She's been really helpful with regards to visas and the covid restrictions. You can't take the value she provided away from her, no matter hard you try. You don't have to watch the videos. Sometimes creators go outside of their lane just to show their personality, not for advice. Also, "incredible amounts of money" probably means very different things to different people. You're really being mean spirited, and you don't have much of a point. Maybe drop it?
@@luxuryseaviewvillas6744 There is so much thailand beauty to show and explore. I agree on the good advice for visas and covid. But I stand on the rest. Could have been a bunch of much better videos about Thailand. And sure there are much better places to visit on a "short" holiday to Thailand. Fair enough I did unsubsribe after the last view.
I've had some amazing holidays in Patong, Bangla Road is absolutely crazy lol !. I went in Suzy Wongs , what a experience in there haha !. Keep up the good work, from a fellow Northerner:-)
Nai Harn is a pleasant sandy beach, that will never be built around because of the temple and lagoon. It has long been a favourite evening spot for folks living locally. Come the monsoon season (May to November) there is often good surf, but caution should be exercised in the water at that time, because of rips and undertow.... best left to experienced surfers. There is a bit of interesting snorkelling to be had at the rocky ends of the beach, with the north end being more accessible than the south. Go through the hotel, and carry on to Ao Sane, a small beach with coarse sand, lots of rocks and great snorkelling; little known when I first went there, but seasonally popular now. The next beach over the hill to the south is Ya Nui..... fine sand and interesting snorkelling to be had. I have swum out and right around the island..... be careful if you try it, there can be some strong currents. Now I think you can rent a kayak. On the lee side of the island, facing the coast there are some magnificent massive coral formations and plentiful fish.
You made the right decision to see the Ping Pong show in Phuket rather than Bangkok. In Bangkok they rip you off big time with drink prices. My wife and I saw one in Phuket and it was actually pretty cool. Most people there were couples from Malaysia and Singapore.
Hi. I am from Nottingham and lived in Phuket for 3 years. I never saw a ping pong show lol. I would recommend you go to the Rawai Seafood market. The fishermen sell their catch and next to the harbour you can take it to the chefs who will cook it how you want. They charge you per KG. They have the biggest prawns I have ever seen and different kinds of shrimp (mantis etc) and different coloured crabs. I would usually get the fish though. There is nothing like that here in England.
@@ReformationsGlassArt At first I did a triple entry tourist visa and extended it there. So stayed 9 months. It was easier then. Then I got a job. You need a work permit as well as a visa. Most people who are digital nomads use tourist visas and VIP visas. One way i never see mentioned is that you can get a thai company to employ you for basically no reason. I worked for a thai company that made websites for a couple of weeks. It wasn't a profitable business but they got money from foreigners who wanted work permit etc and they paid them. That is what it is like in Thailand.
@@Ididnothingwrong-dx5hn thank you for your reply - so it would be possible and easy to get a kitas - if i find the right people who are willing to pretend that they employ me ?
Went to a ping pong show once and became the baloon boy where the ping pong girl literally shoot the dart to my thigh instead of the baloon. Well at least i got to eat sushi for free tho. 😂😂😂
Can not be vividly described on u tube, but use your imagination what some ladies can do with a ping pong ball.. The best shows that I saw, was in soi cowboy in BKK.. They used to have them upstairs in Pattaya walking St, but most of them were a rip off with the drinks and lame shows
That’s what happened to me when I was like 17 lol. Never got spanked, but they unbuttoned my shirt and sat me down in a chair and whacked me on the torso with a pool noodle for like 5 minutes. Then proceeded to pull my pants and underwear down to my ankles afterwards. Good times.
entertaining to hear your first impressions of Bangla road, keep up the good work. if you want to live on the wild side ask the person touting the sex show if they are in it :)
The reason why lots of UK, Irish and USA lads jump to Thailand is because of the numerous rejections they got from UK, Irish and USA ladies who think they are so beautiful and when the lads get to a place like Thailand they can see the difference and then think what the heck was I thinking even trying to saw hello to these so called beautiful UK, Irish and USA ladies
yeaa I don't know about that one chef.. Why try to improve yourself and do better, when you can just take all you money and go somewhere else. The problem is not unattractive woman and people are the same all over the world.
Translation: The reason so many Western men jump to Thailand is to prey on disadvantaged women, who have to take care of their families and are often minors, by waving money in their face. Yeah, disgusting.
