Nah that's a massive overreaction, HMG are better at killing infantry you only need a single hit. Played three matches and nobody was building AA. They deal way less dmg than HMG and old quad AA plus you are as exposed as with HMG. I still remember that old quad AA had insane hp pool and my tank had to use multiple shells to destroy them.

I highly doubt any of these changes are the result of the open letter. It is just too short of a time period between the open letter and this update. Claiming any of these changes is because of open letter, I believe is a stretch.

This is nonsense, AA fires rubber bullets barely inflicting damage to infantry, and has so little ammunition that they don't work well against bots. Instead, it finally works against planes like it should.

I feel like the AAs are still quite balanced. I did a few test rounds today where the AA was less effective against infantry than the german hmg for example (sometimes soldiers tanked a direct hit). Additionally they lack ammunition and refilling takes time.

Sick of hearing about this dumb open letter. It’s basically just a fancy way of EVA crying rather than in the forums like they usually do.

The American 57mm is absolutely useless at rank V so yea im down for an improvement. Also They have the 17 pounder fully modelled on games map editor but unusable

AI bots unfortunately are still useless dumbs who cannot even follow you on correct staircase and happily run around whole large building to other staircase or just stay in some room below you. AA guns are OK. But BOMBERS are now completely useless. They should modify bombers mechanics and make them more effective, put them in larger height but only allow 1 flyover per 10min for player who use them. That will fix the issue with idiots who are calling them all the time just blocking regular artillery for others in team while enemy just gains a lot of points for shooting them down with planes and AA guns. When I want to improve some squad very often the easiest way is to build AA gun and then switch to undeveloped squad and shoot as many bombers (and planes) as possible. It easily creates 5000+ points per game. The sad part is, that we still cannot select which battle to join. That will solve all those issues with unwanted maps. Just be able to see list of running games and select which one to join. Like in any other normal online game or even like in custom games.

You could just buy the event rewards if you can’t play for them if you feel like wasting money on a game.

Open letter is stupid. Enlisted will never be a competitive game. Its a fun casual game. Halo ruined itself in part by trying to be a competitive tryhard game.

This is such an awful change. We already had HMGs for infantry, and now we'll get shredded like the old days when AA spam was a mentally deficient meta.

Well, yet another gun locked behind day by day grind. I still wonder how many this ACTUALLY bring in. As majority of the vets are either not gonna bother getting a singular weapon or they'll get it and leave again as fast as it's done. They seriously need to start pushing bigger free content packs to grind in new players and have more to present. Because bringing out a single weapon ever month that's locked behind a awful grind isn't retaining or gaining players.

Top 5 issues that is making this game unbearable (and probably “unalive” the game as a whole) 1-Stupid bots (if the devs soley focused for 1-2 months on fine tuning the bots to be more human or just smarter, would overall help this game much) as well fix pathing issues 2-Controls (mount weapons and the weapons displace, collide with a wall and drop your weapons sights, and 50 million command buttons on console is lazy-tailer controls to us too) 3-Match making (Br 1/ br 2-3/ br 4-5, how hard is that? Unless the game is dying….) 4- Random Modes, Random Maps, Random (why TF cant players choose maps or game modes, why is everything random? Think about why people leave games: Random maps with random modes with random players = instant back out of game or leave uninstall this game all together) 5-Damage (Every weapon & explosive needs a small buff, theres no reason RPG rockets wont kill squads or how grenades get hit markers while hitting the target.) Im sure there are other issues but who cares, these devs take 1 step forward, 2 steps back and its tiresome.
