The HARDEST Pokemon Nuzlocke Soul Link starts anew. Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra with Randomized Pokemon, TM's, Abilities and harder rulesets. This Soul Link Nuzlocke is absolutely brutal and we attempt it witj Rhabby_V whom hasn't played Pokemon in over 12 years (and barely played then)... can I help guide him through unknown Pokemon adventures and generations to achieve victory?

★ RULES ★
-If a pokemon faints, it must be permanently placed inside PC Box
-Can only catch the first pokemon encountered in each route.
-Must nickname every pokemon caught (will be named after someone in House Fruit)
-Every wild pokemon encounter, static pokemon encounter, trainer pokemon, TM's, field items and abilities and are randomized
-No pokemon can exceed level of next gym leaders highest level (totem or captain for USUM)
-3 Items used in-battle per battle, unless a mon faints then item usage resets in that battle
-All Important Trainers have increased Pokemon count
-All Wild Pokemon Can Call Allies
-Can Decide To Take A Called Ally For Encounter (cannout purposefuly wait for Pokemon to call ally)
-Force Fully Evolved Trainer Pokemon At Lvl 40
-Ultra Necrozma Won't Be A Wipe
-If we white out/black out, we lose.
-Each encounter is paired with each other making them "soul linked"
-If one person fails to catch their encounter or knocks it out, the other person forfeits the encounter as well
-If one persons Pokemon in a soul link is put in the PC or knocked out than the other linked Pokemon must follow/share the same fate
-No repeat of primary types across both parties (1 pokemon pair may break this rule however)
-No pair may share the same primary typing
-Flying Pokemon may have either of their typing declared for their primary the moment they're caught and cannot change (since every flying type pokemon has flying as secondary rather than primary typing)
-Randomized fossils can be used as an extra encounter in the route the 2nd fossil half was found (both players will need to find 1 fossil for this to come into effect)
-A wild shiny encounter can always be caught and made into a new pair

Rob's Persian has the ability No Guard which gives moves like Fissure 100% accuracy and can 1-shot anything

I'm sure you realized the error due to the overlay of the teams making sense: Rob has to swap Camerupt for Vikavolt (unless you decide you want Stoutlander with Camerupt)

The duality of this nuzlocke: Mr. Fruit fighting for his life vs a cheeked up totem mon Rhabby: doesnt see the easy Swampert swap to rock slide his totem pokemon. But this is why I love this nuzlocke tbh.

I hope you're doing better, Fruit, and thanks for all that you do for the fans! I'm only at the beginning of the episode, so this may be redundant, but Rhab's Persian has No Guard, guaranteeing that all moves hit. If it can learn the Fissure TM that he can purchase, he'd have a speedy cat that can one-shot any non-flying enemy it comes across! I don't remember what it is paired with on the other team.

Pro tip, if you get a Pokémon with the Sheer Force ability, Life Orb gives them the damage boost without them losing any health

That only works if the move is boosted by Sheer Force. So you still take damage from Life Orb if you use Tackle, but it gets skipped if you use Body Slam.

You ahould go back to Akala Island and finish the disguised Ditto side quest that starts in the police station. It's 5 static encounters. Three of the most common mistakes I believe we’ve seen in this series- not healing when you are in the orange, speeding through encounters which causes confusion and continuously trying to run when it’s already said you can’t escape 🤣
