As a Switch owner in Florida this has been my biggest fear docking up. My wife and I are very meticulous with our boat and are devastated when this happened to us. I love this!!!
Awesome. You are making some nice stuff for these things. If they would put the 230 in the 13 footer, I'd already own it. They need to make a faster more powerful version of these things. They can handle the power.
Will, great video at you boats expense! Any downside to this? Performance? Guessing the 1/8” gap you mention still allows for water intrusion when the boat is in the water and not moving forward?
Sweet! So definitely before I put in water I will have bumper and reef wrap. But do you plan on having the 2023 switch sizes or just the 2022 size? Looking at the 18' cruise . But also found a 2022 model 16' for about 7k cheaper so still a toss up
@@JetBoatPilot i think you guys should ask minnkota to work together I am pretty sure there are a lot off Seadoo switch owner who are interested in mounting a trolling motor. Thank you for replaying
What is the estimated time to install on 21 feet? Let us say we decide to remove it later will it damage the boat? One final 😃, can someone purchase replacement parts?
@@JetBoatPilot gotcha thanks. My recently purchased set is 33 inches, and before it goes on in the Spring, I’m questioning if the smaller set is more appropriate for my 19ft Yamaha.
nice product, shame the boat is not better protected from the factory. It's a real limiting factor for these boats at this price point. This wrap is basically required, even for fresh water.
a lot of work for it to just get scuffed up again on same, call me old fashioned, but a million years ago they invented fenders for a reason? also , its polytec ,,.. so can be heated up and refinished ? I can't see them lasting myself ...sorry dude
The end result is that the surface is much tougher and when it does get scuffed hard it does not show. We tried to show on camera that there were marks so as not to mislead, but truthfully, to my eye I could not see them easily. Also these panels are $899 each to replace. The average user is not going to have the skills to repair. This kit makes it easy for anyone to make the boat look new once damaged and prevent it from getting badly scratched again.
