when I beat the mantis I used: 1 healbasa x6 (I brought 10 with me) 2 ladybug armor (sleek) 3 (primary weapon) tick sword (best if a salty one) mine was mighty path, did the job 4 thor's pendant (as an accessory)(fire ant shield) weak hand 5 meat shield 6 buff lungs 7 coup de grass 8 blade master 9 Trapper peepr 10 black ox burger x1 (never used) 11 just stick and move around the trunk never turning your back to the mantis and always keeping it on the other side , using the tree as a centerpiece shield, play the "hokey pokey" song for battle music P.S. I did have the tier 3 crossbow and box shot about 13 salt arrows at fight start before boxing with it face to face, and using the healbasas' when necessary, and yes avoid the clouds of poison pollen of course, I won on my 3rd attempt. Took a little more than 5 minutes
For anyone who doesn’t know the mantis only weakness is salty it’s resistances are chopping busting stabbing slashing explosive and spicy it has no weak spot n it’s attack pattern is really easy to learn but beware it is known in the gamer world as a debuffer
This mantis was so hard to beat alone, mainly cause I didn’t prepare a proper weapon for it, but with the pollen and all the 3 hit combos just made it tear through my level 9 armor
@@bighmm6301 it’s broodmother helmet, the termite king chest plate, and the fire ant legs, all of them were level 9 and I was using a salt morning star which I think was level 6 or 7
@@bighmm6301 my armor never broke it was a problem of I was being hit so fast I didn’t have time to move out of the way or heal fast enough, and my only hope being perfect parries
so, the orchid mantis has 50 health marks, the player has 2, and the sword deals 33.3% of each health mark, that would be: ONE HUNDRED FIFTY HITS, to kill a bug, A HUNDRED FIFTY, for a bug, bruh, the heck? my math may be wrong, but I thought we were the strongest ones in the yard
Keep up with good work blitz your videos are amazing.. We need more slime rancher.. Maybe to play dlime rancher 1 just like in old times.. Keep up with good work!
Fun fact, praying mantises are completely harmless to humans and they eat bugs, so don't kill praying mantises unless you want bugs all over your face when going outside like me... ;-;
Me and my friend fought this boss and crafted the weapon and the armour sets, definitely a difficult challenge but we got it done the trick is healbasa and smoothies and bandages for HP recovery. The slash attack the mantis deals is crazy, A weapon that deals slashing damage with salt is a great way to fight it.
