Did the writers really get it wrong or was this crazy journey Elizabeth went through really the plan from the beginning? Maybe this was a long story arc and it was always supposed to be Nathan, but Elizabeth ran away in fear. Then got into a relationship with Lucas trying to forget, trying to deny that she was in love with Nathan. Then she dumped Lucas when she was finally ready to follow her heart. She knew she was in love with Nathan and couldn't live without him. So, she stayed in Hope Valley. Then in S11 she was hoping that Nathan was still in love with her and trying to figure it out. Nathan was trying to figure out her feelings for him. So, we got the gentle, "Love Comes Softly" romance for Elizabeth and Nathan. I'm so glad Elizabeth realized she had to talk to Nathan about the past that what happened still mattered. Elizabeth's apology for hurting Nathan and running away in fear because she was afraid of a relationship with him, her speech, and ending with "Nathan, I'm in love with you." The whole episode 11 was perfect! I mean I heard rumors that JT got fired and LS was hired to fix it, but maybe not it's possible they always planned this long story arc.
They have always belonged together but Elizabeth just had to figure it out. I hope we don't have to wait long for them to become a family. It's just meant to be! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@mrsacosSpeaking of triangles, Erin said in one of her interviews that one of the reasons she was adamant that Elizabeth show no big reaction and remain cool as a cucumber when Jeanette said she and Lucas had been engaged, is that she did not want people to get the idea that the triangle was being resurrected. She wanted everyone to be very clear about that. So there will be no Lucas and to my way of thinking, there will be no Jack ( that would create yet another triangle).. Great to have your beautiful edits steadily appearing to give us so much joy!😊
