Correction for Lukey, you get locked into whatever move you first use while NOT dynamaxed, not the last move you used while dynamaxed. Because you used Ice Beam before dynamaxing, you were still locked into that afterwards
I wish this was the other way around. Would've been more fun getting the other persons team while they are trying to get you to a certain pokemon. Would have been some fun strategy.
You guys should do a regular playthrough of a game (ex. One does Omega Ruby and One does Alpha sapphire) than the team you both use be put against each other to see who's team is better (or it could be a series starting from red and blue/fire red and leaf green, all the way to the latest game)

Maybe a dumb question here: you caught a Galarian Slowbro, but used a Galarian Slowking. I know you can evolve a basic Pokémon, but can you bring a different evo branch entirely? I’d have thought you were stuck with whatever fully evolved Pokémon you caught.
