Hi Allie , Im a mom of a 3 year old girl and soon to be newborn baby girl. I definitely agree with letting your kid experiment with temporary hair dye/ daring hair styles in general because it’s a form of expression and it can boosts confidence in themselves. Overall it’s fun , hair grows back and life’s too short to be rigid . Appearance is only a sliver of what makes up a human being and what’s much more important than some fun hair dye is your morals !

About 2 years ago I had very long hair it was about as long as yours maybe a bit shorter. But my point is I had a hair appointment and I was like you know what we’re Gona cut 6 to 10 inches off and my hair stylist was like omg yes I’m so excited!! So we did it and I LOVEDD IT SO MUCH I have been growing my hair out and it’s still not the exact same length but I’m ok with that. That was a huge change for me and I’m so glad that I did it.

I've never dyed my hair, but I have cut it extremely short once. I've always wanted something like layers and slanted bangs, and maybe an ombre. But my hair isn't long enough for the full effect and I don't think there are natural, chemical-free hair dyes out there other than henna, which can be a guessing game. Anyway, this is my first time watching and it's sparking that seed to at least go for the bangs haircut.
