Yes - we did buy the house we found for £6000! We discovered that we can attach to a public sewer - the village actually has public sewage which is unusual in small villages, so we are very pleased about that! Now we need to renovate😊
i AM SO GLAD THAT YOU IGNORED MY ADVICE AND BOUGHT THE HOUSE! Now you have to restore it in a way that is in keeping with a house that is 150 years old. Not so easy...
Hi Simon!😃 yes! We are absolutely over the moon with it Simon - we didn’t realise it was so “period“. We took a Bulgarian friend there because we needed help speaking to the guy who does the sewage and the water - very nice man , and she was so thrilled that we intend keeping with the original. She said that most Bulgarians just want to modernise Old things! I said exactly the same thing happened in England in the 1960s - I remember my mother“transforming” and antique grandfather clock - she sent it away and they recovered it with melamine sacrilege! But we just didn’t appreciate things back then. She was so pleased that we’re going to try and keep it as much to the original as possible. and this was Jeff’s trade back in England, Simon - he renovated quite a number of old properties in keeping with English heritage stipulations, so the house is in good hands 😊🥰
Beautiful, we are hoping to start our own journey to a simpler life in September. I hope we find lots of 'treasure' too. It seems we have a similar outlook and what real treasures are 😉😊😊

Thank you very much! You are very kind. We have already found a gentleman who can restore the outside using period materials. I intend to keep all of the artefacts, just clean them up and reposition them. We are going to remove the sink from the living room! And put a sink in the kitchen. But I intend to keep it as much in keeping And to replace the rugs once we’ve cleaned it up - maybe put some of them on the walls - I’m really looking forward to it😊🥰

Have you bought a house here yet? This is our fifth property and all except the new modern apartment at wonderful things inside! They just leave everything furniture all sorts.😃🥰
@@thelifeobservant9688😃 we have sold one Apartment. We live in one most of the time, we have one that we go to on vacation because we have 10 animals and we can’t have a holiday otherwise!! And we have an apartment we rent out.😊 our most expensive one was under €20,000😊
