first time in the channel... The city/town looks like a nice clean peaceful place. I think one of the cheapest and best things to beautify the home is leveling the property and installing sometime of grass like Bermuda.

This is a life for me. I'm moving to a province by Cebu called Liloan. It's actually cheaper for us to have a house built Then it is to buy one. My fiance and her 2 daughters already live there with their family. It's gonna be a lot of fun.

Oh man I'm watching your video and missing all the wonderful times I had with my 2 boys when they were your son's age. They are 32 and 27 now and have lives of their own. So not much time for dear OLD Dad anymore. Now I'm just waiting for them to have kids and make me a grandpa! I'm sure they will be calling me for HELP! LOL They will find out kids can be a blessing, but also a hand full! I have the experience to help out when they need a break. Now if they have a girl I'll be totally clueless. I only have experience with boys. So hoping for grandsons! LOL

That is the place Jinky sent me pictures of a while ago. Looks like a great place to get away to the province for peace and relaxation. Iloilo is a place I have been thinking about I have been watching a guy Texas Filipino who built a beach house there and has some rentals also. It looks like a very good area! Now it's time to upgrade the ol house there with some AC, windows, ceilings, solid exterior doors, and a new roof, etc. Better add solar and batteries for brownouts! Looks like you will need transportation out there too! Get one of those 4x4 minivans or mini dual cab trucks with AC and auto trans! The Suzuki ones go forever. I have friends who have a single-cab manual trans one and it has had the crap beat out of it and it is still going. I just wouldn't want to be shifting all the time I like to relax driving. But I am seriously looking at those when I get there.
