Hello from the U.S.👋🏽 (New York City to be exact), your video was recommended to me, so I thought I would give it a watch. Awesome choice on the bus length for sure. Looking forward to your buildout. Good luck with everything and safe travels. Oh, and of course, your fur baby is absolutely adorable. 😀

might want to change the hubs and wheels on the bus , these type of wheels are kinda dangerous to remove and istall if youre not experienced with them , ask any big rig tirecenter/installer , they usually dont want to touch them aspecially if there split rims ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hPPDZX5DYLM.html&ab_channel=ryan000s might take a bit of investigating but usually the front and rearaxles are used in a multitude of vehicled in both the daiton / spiderwheels or the normal rims and the hubs should be interchangabe

Thanks for letting us know will double check everything. We will probably leave doing that till we are ready to hit the road, but thank you super helpful!

@@AdventuresofSkyla good idea as the tires will usually get flat spots on them during the build , i seen a few conversions on youtube and usually they take between one or two years ,depending on how mush you tear out of the bus (removing roofskin adding insulation, raising the roof , tearing out the wiring / heating/ aircon etc the bus is usually sitting in one spot during this time , when you replace the rims and tires before the trip you have a fresh set of rubber and they whont be aged from sitting in the sun all that time the long time sitting is usually the reason why the bus starts having problems once you start using it again , moisture causing rust in the airbrakes , dried out v belts and oilseals rust on sliding parts things seizing up from moisture/rust stuff like that dont respond well to sitting for that long another good idea would be to put cribbing under the frame (stacks of wood ) jacking up and shimming the frame so the bus floor is level during the build even if the bus is sitting on unlevel ground , this makes the build out a little eazier as you can actually use a (laser) level and a plumb bob to set up walls and stuff

We don’t have air breaks and we won’t be taking. 2 years with our build, we will be done in a max 6 months. Dwaynes working on it full time and me part time so we have no excuse for 2 years. Our van only took 8 months and that was with us working full time! We are also on level ground because we are at a friends with a levelled parking spot.

I would have deff chosen a longer bus. Your options are limited with a bus this of this length.

We didn’t want a longer bus…. We purely wanted max 27ft so that our options for parking it are high than with a longer one. We are used to a lot smaller spaces than this. Considering we lived in a truck camper and a sprinter van. Everyone has their own preference. 🙂
