Yeah I'm 62 and I remember reading about Jeff and following him from Hot rod drag week I'm glad to see he's got another 57 but can't wait to see what this one does good for you Jeff I'll be anxious to see what combination you put in this since it's small tire good luck I'll be keeping up
@@williamlannan3129 lol I hate people who bitch about grammar but you were killing me with that comment. Not a single period is what’s bothering me lol.
I got a 57 210 2dr wagon for my 16th bday!! I used to walk my grandparents dog through a small town in Chesapeake beach MD for years I walked past this car not for sale!! It took 2 yrs for my grandparents to convince them to sell it!!!! Best birthday ever!!!!
Good for you Jeff!!! Not everything has to go over 100 mph. Enjoy yourself and your time with Jeffery (Jeff Jr) and Christine. One thing I treasured about drag racing was the time it allowed me to spend with my dad. I am so happy seeing you and your son working together. God speed Brother.
Jeff you are the best street racer ever.I love watching you race.Im from & live in pittsburgh pa in squrill hill & just found out you have roots outside pittsburgh.Im so happy to know my favorite racer is from my area!! cant wait for season 5 & good luck my friend.Keep up the good work & racing.
She is a beaut it's going to be awesome seeing you guys going shake up some small tire stuff and bringing them the attention they deserve. ALOT of street racing and work been getting put inn.
I know a friend that has a 57 Chevy two door and a 57 wagon. Both in decent shape also extra parts. It’s in Evanston Wyoming. Both have been in storage for forty years.
I lost my dad 12 years ago ain't day gos by I don't think of him so cool you your son do everything together definitely true blessing congratulations 🎉👏👍 on new car.
Yeah when Jeff said bluey green I knew it was that turquoise I love that colour too I reckon it would look better in that colour than in black even though the black does look good
That is a beautiful car bet it felt so good to be behind the wheel of such a beautiful classic most people don't know what it's like and that power glide oh my goodness
I love Mr. Jeff Lutz, been a huge fan & vaguely remember when Chief & Sean spoke his name on the 2nd or 3rd season of Outlaws. I was thinking, "holy shit, he's gonna attack the list"... but they just had him doing fab work & headers. Years later.... look at the progression. So happy for you..... Prayers & Continued Success!!!
Wow. That thing is freakin sweet. Stock or a nice little street rod would be cool but it'd be a damn shame to chop it up and turn it into a race car. I'd turn it into a nice little 12-13 sec power tour cruiser, sit back cruisin enjoying the AC.
Hey junior when can we get a ride along in the civic on the street when you ever get time to yourself. Tell dad the 57 is amazing please Don't cut it up! Take care and God bless you and spoil the grand baby. Lol
Hey buddy it's so good to see a smile on your face you should keep that car a street car maybe small block Chevy small turbo on it maybe put over drive it it..you look to happy don't make it a race car ..love ya
I have a 62 Buick skylark special with the same motor and transmission and it runs really good all I put a 4 barrel carburetor in it and it make’s a big difference because the 2 barrel was flooding out 2 much very nice and clean 57 👍
Neat looking car Jeff !! you most likely don’t remember me but I won the all American 57 Chevy gasser at the Trifive nationals in bowling Green Kentucky and briefly chatted i lm pretty sure they used my car cover when they Unveiled your race car at the nationals I could be wrong it’s what I was told lol
You’re awesome Jeff but since I found out chief is not on the show anymore I just can’t watch America‘s list. It’s just weird without him. Good luck though
It looks like the 57 that my Grannie had, well except the wheels, 🤣. I love 57’s. Keep it as a cruiser and find another one that’s not as nice for the dragster. I do miss seeing you in a 57 dragster, but the GTO is killer too.
I'm a 55 chevy over a 57 but 57 is the next favorite of the tri fives it use to be my #1 until I saw two lane blacktop and after that I have been hooked on the 55 chevy
65yr old car i was born in 57 and frist few yrs in school riding bus i always looked for 55 56 57 chevy race cars .. in garley daniels yard here in nc. my all time favorites is 66 67 chevy ll
Jeff buddy with all the love i have for you please pick a different type of car for racing the gto is awesome do a older gto but keep the 57 for your daily brother
Had a 4dr 210 57 Basic was a 6 cyl or a 265 Mine was 265 with iron glide Put Corvette 2 4bll , dual exhaust and swapped in 3 spd overdrive When you hit the brakes at 65 you didn’t know which way it would go The 265 just didn’t have it Ordered a new 65 Chevy ll with 300 hp 327 4 spd Loved it but no brakes Them days were fun
REMINDS ME OF MY FIRST CAR: a 57 Chevy 210 wagon in the robins egg blue Sold it after the powerglide planetary gears locked up at 118K miles. Got 18 mpg with the 283 two barrel. Wish I never soldit!.
A tip guys. I couldn't hear a damn thing you an Jr were saying to each other in the car because of that damn music! Is that really necessary? Anyway, I knew it wouldn't be too long until you acquired another '57. Lol. Now it just needs the LRC touch. New wheels, new suspension, new paint job, aaahhh wth, new motor and tranny too! Can't wait to see it when you're done!
Yo Jeff check out mine owned since 1979 full frame off everything new lowrider on hydraulics 350 L98 corvette motor carbed 200-4r grand national trans and I hop on the freeway doing bout 85mph Nothing like a 57
I hope Jeff/Jeffrey have the self restraint to leave that 57 just exactly as it is because that car is too nice and complete to be turned into a Hotrod
KEEP IT A CRUISER!!!! Seen too many 57’s wrecked. My fathers first oval stock car was a 57!chevy at Beltsville Speedway and Old Dominionion speedway and Martinsville Speedway. With dicky Boswell, Jack bland,!sonny Hutchinson and red cagle. That crew. I’m sure you’ve heard those names.
To anybody that might be confused , that is a 210 with the Bel-Air inserts on the rear fenders , a common trick from way back in the day . Way to tell for sure is to look at the Vin tag in the doorjamb . If it starts with the letter V , it's a V8 car next is the series ; A means 150 , B is for 210 ,and C stands for Belair , D stood for sedan delivery . There was no call out for convertibles or Nomads .
@@chevelleranch7481 yur right about the paint , maybe I should move farther away from the window the sun was coming in so strongly , I was getting glard on the tablet screen . Good looking '57 !
@@bobbrinkerhoff3592 I have the exact same car , so I'm quite fond of this one too! Its nice to see one not made into a bel air , and nice to hear someone who actually knows how to identify one! Thanks for sharing the knowledge Bob!
