I live in the blue ridge mountains and despite people saying that tornadoes only form in flat lands, they don't. They don't touch down, they go over us. One bad night at 4am the wind was around 100 mph and the clouds and trees were swirling very fast. It knocked down at least 10 trees in our yard. We had a big fort/playground in our yard, and by morning the whole set was upside down 100ft from it's original place.
