Delta is a very popular and reputable PSU OEM. They're a huge player in server power supplies and many other industrial applications.

Indeed Delta is actually a very good and old in the business psu manufacturer . I bought a 700w one about 13 years ago , and i still have it , but i had to change it bcz it had only 2x6 pin pci-e although it could easily handle a 2x8 pin ... Anyhow very good psu maker :)

Delta is a big OEM for power supplies, they've been in the business for years. Their primary market is server power supplies and fans but make things for the consumer market too. If you have a laptop there is a high chance that the charger and fans were made by Delta.

A while ago I actually watched a review on this system like a year or so ago (maybe more) and the RU-vidr was actually WARNED not to buy it because it blue-screened so much. It’s interesting to see it appear again on this channel.

I watched something similar and it turned out the fault is due to them being fitted with dodgy SSDs, once changed out the computer was fine.

@@lincoln2408 Austin evans one was so snobby though. Like he shat on the 3700x as if it was an unusable cpu. Which being older means you may get it cheaper and may be good alternative for people who can't afford the latest gen. It's the kind of attitude which is the problem in the pc building community. Elitists who are happy to chuck $3000 at a pc every other year and try to convince people that their one year old system is useless and that they should feel embarrassed for even using it.

@@darthwiizius yeah dawid was the one who did that. Again problems like these should be sorted out by the company. Not by a customer comment and a youtuber. Maybe for people who bought it it's useful. But 99% should return such an expensive product if it's not working properly.

I have a BestBuy MSI prebuilt 5600x 6700xt 16gb ram, 500gb ssd. It was on sale for $1099 from 1,499. Use it allday everyday, games all the time. No issues at all so far after months of use. I'm happy.

Toasty bros, review this. Also, that’s a great deal. Like amazing deal. For 500, I can only make a 6500xt + 10100f system, so 1660ti, which is a 3050 equivalent, is an amazing deal. Not to mention the 3600x, a 6 core last Gen CPU that performs good enough in games.

you can find Delta branded powersupplies in Dell's and Hp's, like others have mentioned they're a very large reputable OEM but you typically don't see them in "gaming" pc's

I saw another toober buy one of these about a year ago and the fault causing the crashing was MSi(Aegis is them also I think) fitted cheap and dodgy SSDs. It's entirely possible that as this became a known manufacturer fault they paid to have all the SSDs replaced and new Windows installs carried out. This would have been done under contract by local service companies which could explain the box being opened and resealed. Equally of course it is also possibly be a returned unit that also went to a service centre but in that instance it should be described as used/refurbished/graded.

I built my current computer with 3700x, rx5600xt and 32 GB RAM about 2 years ago for just over $700. $1K today is steep. Maybe I should sell and build new.

on high settings notice the gpu and cpu usage cpu is not fully maxed so either you set a cap on frames or something is going on with it ?

I went to a target store thats going down hill. they had only one gaming laptop for sale and it was 819 dollars..... the poor laptop had a 1050 inside. and they wanted 819 for it. crazy o3o

I couldn’t help but notice that the gpu usage was also between 50 and 80%, perhaps the gpu can do better but there’s a bottleneck somewhere

Even then, the utilization is only a percentage of max clock speed, not max computational capabilities. Power draw, relative to maximum, is a better indicator.

I bought this prebuilt over a year ago and the only real problem I've had with it is that the ssd they used was some weird chinese cheap brand with a hummingbird on it. The problem with it was that it could not be cloned because it used some weird data type that no cloning software could recognize. I could download data to it and move date to it but data could not be cloned or moved out of it to any other storage device. I had to buy a new m.2 and get a new windows key.

It became a known manufacturer fault, you should contact them to see if they'll refund your costs(they'll probably say no you should have RMA'd it at the time but it's worth a try). I think that might be why this one has been opened before because once identified as an inherent manufacturing fault the manufacturer would be obliged to rectify the fault or compensate the retailers for all the returns and units left in stock for return. Cheaper to get service companies in to go through store stocks area by area to fit new SSDs and Windows installs. Over here in the UK by law the manufacturer would be required to rectify the issue unlike normally where under the law the retailer can be forced to deal with issues as the customer only has a contract with them and not the manufacturer.

i have that exact case. and it has nice airflow, plenty of space, rgb switch... it is a good case. 5600x and 3050 just sing inthere with cm and arctic fans on a x570. looks nice, is big and bulky (read stable) and supports everyting i wanted in my build. buying a prebuild machine is just not a good practice. if you don't know how to build one, you damn for sure don't know how to pick one. use an expert. and using big chains for fragile electronics is amazingly stupid. best buy as a source of prebuild? yeah, no. just no.

Something is wrong with this build, and it is not PSU. 5600xt paired with r7 3700x should work at 99% utilization. And in most games it looks like 3700x is bottlenecking 5600xt which should not happen. It is possible there is some crapware on the system slowing down everything, or some things are badly set in BIOS.

almost ended up burning 1500$ on a prebuilt gaming pc from BestBuy! the other day, only thing that would of been good is the gpu an cpu everything else they build the prebuilds with is trash and cheap just like most the psu they put in em good way to catch your gaming pc on fire! glad I didn't go for a prebuilt and instead spent the extra money n got all custom components and had it built by someone with 20+ yrs of building gaming rigs.
