The G I Joe action figure is a hot market right now. Average price minimum 35 a piece. Some will be more and some less and with weapons they can be worth more than the figure itself. I'm sure you have a few gems in that collection 👍
@amadeo_serrano
@amadeo_serrano Год назад
A lot of what you uncovered has value, either on it's own like the chain saw and hammer drill, or as collectables (the action figures). Even the sewing machine, if it works, and the heaters. Check the heaters, though, as they may only run on kerosene and would need to be vented to outdoors if used as back-up heat. Coca-Cola stuff is very collectable Atari 2600 console set is around $180 to $250 depending on games and controllers included 40:25 Is that Jessica's opinion? LOL
@MrWolfSnack
@MrWolfSnack Год назад
The Kero-Sun heaters do not need to vent outdoors, they use a special burning mechanism that clean-burns the kerosene fuel. They were fully intended to be used indoors, but it would be a good idea to crack a window because the safety of kerosene and CO poisoning wasn't well known back then. They are about 35-40 years old.

Hey Randy, that tool that you thought was pruning shears is actually for sheet metal work. Think gutters & downspout cutting, crimping, and bending. And that game system is indeed an Atari 2600, i still have my woodgrain edition along with the all black edition.

Randy, great video! Atari didn't brand that console as the 2600 until several years after it launched, so as you can see the original name was "Video Computer System", or VCS. VCS/2600 are the same thing. They also licensed their consoles to sears back then, so some VCS systems and older Pong consoles have "Tele Games" branding instead of Atari.

@MrMattDat

The "crimpers" at 9:37 are used for HVAC (you know how one end of an HVAC pipe has those up and down bends to fit into the next section?). Handy if you need to put in something like a stove vent.

Those Atari 2600 consoles are the 1980-1981 version. Most common of the 1977-1981 woodgrain era. There are some decent RF to HDMI or component video converters. There are ways to tap into the 2600's composite video and analog audio signals before they go through the RF converter in the console. IIRC there's even a gizmo that can tap into the video and sound before they're converted to analog, then it converts to HDMI.

The action figs are several hundred $ & the most valuable thing I saw. The atari is maybe a hundred, no super valuable games there. Those old soda crates have a little value, & the ladies bike does too. If that hammer drill hasn't been soaked in water it's worth keeping in case you have to drill into brick or concrete for some reason. Funny, I like watching cleanout vids; never expected one on this channel!

Those Ataris are the woody 4 switcher type which aren't the rare ones, but they still have a few hundred dollars value. The games have various values. Keep them and enjoy them. You need a TV with an analogue tuner. None of the modern TVs will work. Just get an older TV with analogue (VHF/UHF) and tune it in. You don't need the TV/Game switch since you are just using game, so plug it straight in. You can get power supplies for them on ebay etc. Clean the cartridge ege connector with WD40 on a rag to keep the connection reliable. There are people repairing them in vintage communities on the net, so if it doesn't go, contact them.
