We did a site clearance on a site ready for tarmac, the site manager said any scrap we find we could keep. I dont think he expected us to pulll up miles of redundant high voltage cable with the 360. It took us days to strip it all best bonus we've had to date.
My yard would never let two different items on the scale at the same time. They also pick through everything. Like that bucket of brass they would dump it out and check each piece.
When I was a kid whenever we were skint you could just donder thru a side door of this factory and walk past the few people there like you work there then fill a wheelbarrow up with aluminium bars and walk back out again. Heavy work but good money. Almost as good as when we had a working alarm for Tesco. Great days
Well done lads. Interesting video. I am doing mainly removals but sometimes we have to do similar with what you have done so I totally understand you. New subscriber. 👍👍
Come fish down pompey mate, mate caught a 15lb bass the other week. Saw an 18lb pulled out last year. Some of the biggest bass in the country in pompey harbour… Wanna know what we catch those big bass on in the harbour… bread.
Makes you wonder how much you'd have gotten if you stripped as much of that 99kg as the stripper would work on. I strip absolutely everything that my stripper can strip cleanly.( powercords are too flexible and get real prickly, drawing blood.) But I'm on a 1 tonne mission before I cash it in so am going all out with stripping wire, motors and transformers. With all the small unstrippable wire, I'm planning building a granulator so all copper can go top dollar.
Loving the video!!! Are nuts and screws and bolts worth money if I have tuns off them I’ve been saving them up as I work with that sort of scrap?? Cheers in advance 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
How is that not all robbed lol, You buy t from a roofer plumber electrician lol ... Na only joking. I worked as maintenance at a hotel for about 6 years and accumulated a shit load of copper and cable from refurbs and rewires and stuffed it in an empty loft space. Problem is i left the place before weighing it in due to the covid lockdown. Wonder if its still there 🤔
Aww boys I'd of just give u that aswell 500 on top nice 2 n half hours drive lol 😆 I melt all my bits down and did give the blocks of copper out to lads like ur self's but now 😅 am asking 5er pmsl only joking like
The bits at the end that didn't weigh nothing??? should have gone back in the van as everything weighs something and it tells you a lot about the scrap yard scales???
@@thescraphunter6811 looking at the copper u got number 2 price heavy copper I.e any that’s dirty or painted goes as heavy. U had a load there that looked clean tube. If u cut that out u can weigh that as no1 clean copper.
@@thescraphunter6811 unusual my yard pays me more for clean copper tube no1. Painted or with brass or solder goes as heavy coper no2 so it’s with me sorting it out. And yes bright wire is the best. That’s at a uk yard EMR.
Another one handed bandit get a head cam you know what that is a, I'll check back in a couple of weeks if you still don't have one I won't bother you or watch your video's.
You r not scrappers. You have not striped the household. Down to dry bright.and your copper tube was mixed with brass.you could have had over a grand in the hand.cash.and it should have bean a 3 way split. Minus fuel for the van..I'll not be working with your outfit.iff you treat people like that.and thay don't get a fair share.
Calm down phill there was no brass on the copper and me and matt go half's on everything I was taking the piss Rick is matts son and we paid him his bit to the household is not worth stripping fir the price we get foe it as Is
