Love that you're both teaching the kids a work ethic and skills that will be with them a lifetime. Too many kids now days complain about having to clean their room and you've got yours doing heavy yard work.
That’s the dream. That took me 1.5 days to watch this vid with two kids under 4. How you built that in 10 weeks with 3 kids in tow is a huge achievement. Well done.
Absolutely beautiful. The whole change from a shed on a block, to a beautiful family home, and base camp. Well done, and you can be very proud of yourselves. Look forward to the new van!!!!!🥳🥳
That looks fantastic! You all have done so well, what an achievement. As a painter myself a tip with the floor, i use the metal spiked irrigation shoes for lawns so i can walk on the floor if needed, works well for the bubble removing, just be aware metal and concrete make for a good slipping hazard😁. Also some broom handles will fit roller frames, just dont tell bek🤫😂😂
You guys smashed it! To have a property like this is a dream of mine. When you travel and camp it changes your mindset to what you really need. A simple fitted out shed on a beautiful block of land is the go! Stoked for you guys! 🤙🏼
Good job getting the kids to help out with renovations, they will always remember and be invested with their home. I love the roller doors on the outside, so secure. I recommend getting a caravan shower screen, one thats self cleaning. Glass doors are a pain to clean, plus you have to dry them to prevent mould. You did really well building your new home for $60K, extremely cheap! 👏
You did very well, I built our shed home 19yrs ago when I was 26 from the ground up and it cost $60k and a further $20k over 3 more years, that included the shed and concrete and putting it through shire as a house. To keep the project under 60k now days was very well done 19yrs later than I did it and also remote! Wow stunning job, you should be very proud, you both look stoked 👍👍
The shed has turned out so awesome, it’s like a big tiny house and after living in the van for 6 odd years it must feel like a palace. You both have done so well, hats off to you, even the kids learning by helping doing bits. Yes prices have gone insane for everything. A wonderful base for you all. 👍 well done.
Wow what a transformation absolutely fantastic to achieve this Reno in 10 weeks, you guys should be very proud of yourselves and the kid's to of course, and everything about it is perfect.
You have turned a SHED into a COMFORTABLE FAMILY HOME...AND WHAT A LOCATION....You should be proud of yourselves and I reckon "THE BLOCK" would do well if you were on there. Awesome Job and Loved watching the Journey with this Reno.. Keep up the Great Work....
Top job. We have a base to return to at times. Only a renovated old railway cottage in a small country town but we are retired and don't have kids to consider. Love your base. Enjoy.
A castle, you guys have made a castle… ahhh the serenity!! It looks awesome. Can’t wait to see what you have done with the top paddock, and the “pond”… 👍👍👍👍
Well done! Great layout making the best use of the limited space. It looks huge compared to the original shed. Love how you connected the bathroom to the house with the laundry. And what an uplift to that old bathroom shed! And doing it in 10 weeks in this rural remote laid-back town is amazing. Now you can lay back a bit and enjoy the view you created.
Awesome guys. I've enjoyed the past two episodes a lot, you haven't fart arsed around with painfully slow updates where you don't see much progress like other tubers would. You say you're going to do something then you show it being done right away. Much better for the viewers. So great to see you living your dream, sorry you got buggered around by the pandemic and building supply stuff, I've moved my build a couple of years because it's just not viable here in NZ at the moment. Looking forward to seeing more updates on the block. Keep it up. Thes shed would look incredible painted black! Cheers.
Really appreciate your honesty in saying that renovation is not you guys. We see so much on socials where people appear to have breezed thru all the hard work e with no probs. It would drive me insane to do a reno and I was beginning to think it was just me.
Hola desde España,,preciosa casa que habéis construido en tan espectacular entorno, enhorabuena, que la disfrutéis muchísimo que seguro que así será,un gran saludo.👍👍👍
Jack is quite the worker, so great to see kids lift there weight, muck in, team work = dream work, good one mum and dad.. this is the Australia I recognise from many years ago.. 🐨✨😎
Love it! Owner built a 2brm granny flat for the old lady a while back and yeah, definitely a test of ya wits! Well done guys! Stick the yard work though! Haha.
Absolutely fabulous guys. You will be so happy there, great achievement, and you did it your way! Looking forward to you opening it up to fellow caravaners, I will be coming. Cheers.
“Fabulously wicket”… what a fantastic job, the outcome is amazing… and I must comment on the epic colour scheme absolutely beautiful just like inside your van, “ah Bec”… So congratulations to you all money well spent!! Regards Sandy toes and salty kisses
As an Architect and Construction Project Manager, I take my hat off to you both. You've done and excellent job and should be very proud of what you have created in only 10 weeks. The styling is lovely Bec and Justin, is there nothing you can't do? 👋
It is an amazing feeling doing a shed up. We did one in Cooloola Cove but we sold it. That feeling of space....lol. We are still living in our Nissan Civilian. One day a house will feel huge. Have a great rest when you have finished. The high will stay with you for a while. Where are you in Qld? We are parked at Mudjimba.
Insane how many synchronicities are in here for me with dreams my husband and I have had to seeing this and seeing that every experience we have had until now is exactly how it should have been to move into our next chapters. Thankyou for the inspirations
What an amazing transformation of the shed. Just enough comforts when in between trips. Love watching your travel utubes and look forward to seeing your new van.
Looks fantastic, love the blackout stove👍 Great idea putting power down the driveway (caravan sites ??) The bubbles in your floor may have been because the concret wasn’t entirely dry following washing it
You guys are absolutely inspiring Thank you guys for showing me how I should be living life with my family❤️ leaving nothing for the next life p.s you guys would absolutely kill it on the block.
Well done Justin and Bec! Great achievement! I think considering the price of everything these days you have done well and also all the work done by Bob makes everything complete. Awesome seeing the kids helping out and learning along the way. 👌
Man that's pretty speccy, love the black just need a sky light in the shower and pls paint that gal braces on the beam...but what you guys have achieved in such a short time we are envious. Peace ✌️
Hey guys, good stuff hey! Folks enjoy the shed, the van etc, and locations, but the big ticket item is you, the fam, your joy, adventuress spirit and can do attitude! Thanks for sharing this part of your life with us! Cheers. (From the USA). ((Come and do a series over here before the kids get to big!!)
I can't believe how much you guys have done over 10 weeks wow that is so awesome well done guys it's so cool seeing you guys in a place that you can just chillout in thanks for the vid :D
Well done guys … great Sunday morning viewing 😃 Love what you’ve done & so great you have somewhere to base yourselves when you need . All that hard work was so worth it 👏👍🙌
That looks amazing and bet it feels good to have somewhere to come home to when you have been out on a trip. Well done to all of you and those who helped.
I am so happy for you that you have a base and not just any base, you have an oasis. I understood the storage dilemma as my belongings have been in storage for 18 years. I am sure I will be throwing things out when I finally get my own base. You worked so hard and achieved so much in a short space of time. Well done guys!
Hey Justin the reason why you got bubble is probably that the floor was still wet and moisture has risen and formed bubbles Needs a couple of days for floor to dry before you coated
Amazing Guys! We recently renovated a 5 bedroom 2 living area house and it wasn’t pretty between me and misso so totally understand. Looks amazing, looking forward to watching you get back on the road
Living on average is nothing new to me , had 42 acres at Bucca , outside Bundaberg, for 27 years , It is a good lifestyle, but a lot of work, looks a lovely block, Built a caravan , hit the road 14 Years ago, Now own a Sapphire mine, Now enjoying easy life, but still plan too travel more , Loved the vid , New van , happy safe travels Cheers Bevan 🤠❤️🇦🇺
Congratulations! What a special little slice of paradise you have created in a very gorgeous part of the world! Love how you thought outside the box during your build and were honest about the good, bad and ridiculous! As always love your work!
A tip I’ve heard before for the epoxy floors is to go to the good will or something like that and buy old golf shoes then you can walk around your floor on the spikes without messing the finish, while you’re painting still.
The box trailer saga!! Man I feel your pain hahah. I had the same issue. Most places were 3 weeks wait. I wanted second hand and could not find one for the life of me. So managed to find a company with one left and had to pay top dollar for it. 😅🫠 Awesome vid guys!! Transformation is next level.
