Hey guys nice job on the wing! You may want to consider actuators that go faster ones that travel 8" to 9" per second especially if you intend to get the full effect at braking.
Yea we know it moves too slow, but im planning on slowly stepping it up with the speeds because im not sure on how strong the wing is actually going to be with that much force. So i plan on setting up a go pro and watching the deflection of it and speed it up depending on how i feel.
@@bteambuilt2233 if or when you do decide to go with faster actuators you could always do a progressive set up and use a speed controller that will allow you to slow or speed up the movement of the wing. So during braking based on your rate of deceleration it would move the wing to max angle of attack at max speed.
You guys should lower those actuators out of the air stream and use push rods as extensions to actuate the wing. Those actuators will cause draft and disturbance and look a little ugly there.
