My bad, my video repeated the same area of the video when I was watching and I thought it was a different frame. When I exit out of youtube and continue, sometimes it repeats an earlier point of the video instead of where I left off. I watched the rest of the video and it was only the first frame
Dude that ball looks sick. Unfortunately won't be able to pick one up due to timing, but I'm super excited for you having gotten this ball made. More in the future? Having a USBC Certified 220Avg ball would be amazing.
The ball looks amazing!!! It actually looks like one of those glass orbs that photographers use to make unique camera shots. I really hope you get enough pre orders to make it worth continually making them!
This is so awesome. I love when manufacturers go out of their way to help out content creators. Question: Can you possibly put in a weight block that is a different density but still clear?
@@Kiryokuu Glass is over twice as dense as PC, but I couldn’t tell you if it’d be tough enough. I think it would be as long as it’s a large enough block.
Dude this thing is sick!! I think you should still seek to make a ball that's USBC certified though. That'd be such a cool milestone for the channel. Maybe the core could be shaped like your cat or mail truck or something lol
Weight block idea: Have the 220AVG in a 3d printed font (different colors too) and have that be the weight block. I want to use mine in competition. Too good to be shelved or just to play around with. I've been in the hunt for a new spare ball. This might just be it except that I won't be able to use it. Needs to be 15 lbs.
If a lot of people buy it, i wonder if it would worth be doing it again in a year, because that ball looks so cool. Or you could also get like 5% more than preorders if enough people want one
It would be cool if you put some mini submersible LED lights in the finger holes and watch the ball light up all sorts of different colors while bowling.
Yeah i know my third comment... how about a Green Screen ball that when you do the video you can put what ever you want on the ball as it goes down the lane hehe
Another OUTSTANDING video, you need to get with Forest Kritzer and have a competition to see who can throw the best series with this ball. You may need to get one for him and get it drilled to fit his one hand style of bowling just to be fair since he's really not a two-handed bowler.
Totally cool looking ball. It needs to be played totally in the dry to work though. I am curious, since it has no puck in it, what were the final drilled static weights?
The ball looks like it's completely fake or showing some sort of a hologram when you were taking it to random place for montage. It's pretty cool to see a clear bowling ball!
Ah yes, the “I left it in my Tahoe in the summer, and now it burnt down” special. All jokes aside this is bad ass man! Congrats good sir that’s such a cool business deal.
Just a heads up that a clear sphere can act as a focusing lens when light hits it. Sunlight going through this could theoretically set your house on fire. You see this issue with crystal balls... You should make a cover or a cloth to keep it covered when in storage...
You could maintain the clear/refractive aspect of the ball with an interior core that has a mirror finish, maybe in some sort of aluminum? That is how those gimmicky fushigi balls are made. Could be an idea to make a legal version that still has the feeling of being clear and reflective!
Yeah I actually think that might work. If a dense glass orb in the middle of the ball doesn't work, you could probably put something brightly polished or relfective foil wrapped in the middle to still make a cool affect. That might work.
Important note if you do buy one, KEEP IT COVERD or away from any window/sunlight. Clear spheres are very good at magnifying and focusing any and all light and can cause fires.
I'd really like to know how many of these you actually sell.. you are an amazing bowling creator. Keep up the amazing videos but lets get back to Forrest as a cop lol
Shut up and take my money. Well, if I had any money to take. That looks so awesome going down the lane. Really surprised it hooks as much as it does without a weight block.
I like the idea of this ball being like a rare Pokémon that you’ll be lucky to see and not like a caterpie where everyone has one and most ppl just throw it away
This ball looks great. I'd buy one for sure if it was legal. Were you able to notice the size difference from a normal ball and do you think it had any impact on carry?
Years ago there was a study on bowling ball size and most of the participants actually favored the smaller balls. Because of that I'm guessing it wouldn't be much worse than normal.
What about making a weight block out of glass or polycarbonate? You’d be able to see the different materials as they have different refractive indexes, but you could potentially have the ball certified then and be completely transparent
Love the ball! Hey I got a video idea maybe you have a cracked bowling ball in your collection somewhere maybe you can bowl a game with it for a video? I would love to see that I always wonder what happens when you throw a cracked bowling ball!
I wish it wasn't so cloudy. I've always wanted a clear bowling ball ever since I saw the one HIHBowling had, but this one isn't quite it. A higher quality clear ball causes fires, lol.
They made them in the 1980s. Very few people purchased them, even when we finally put them on sale for next to nothing. As soon as finger holes are drilled in them, they look like someone stuck 3 pegs in them. Also, it takes little time for them to get scratched up and the luster dulls out.
