1. you're missing your toilet upstairs! check your household inventory (build mode, the little box in the bottom left corner) 2. use the eyedropper tool (top menu in the middle) to duplicate items you already have instead of looking through the buy menu again! 3. also use the color swatch tool (also in the top menu) to change the color of items you already own instead of buying a new one! :)
I love these videos! But I have a few tips/ideas: - There is towels for if you want to sunbathe, they are in the outdoor activities section I think - When you do start playing in live mode again you need to keep checking the dog food bowl and click it to fill it up or they won’t be able to get any food - If you want some more colourful picture options, you can choose the picture of the girl with red hair which I think you already have downstairs but change the colour and it shows a lot more pictures - You can get dog training hoops and tubes in the outdoor section and train your dogs - Also if you want to get some more money without using cheats, on the left hand side on build mode at the very bottom there is a household inventory which has lits of stuff in them that you already own but they just aren’t in your house and you can either use them for free or sell them to make money Please like so that Joe and Dianne can see it🥰
Some tips/suggestions: - You don't actually need a "pet room", all you need for the pets are food bowl, pet bed, and toys.. it would be a waste of a space to use that space just for the dogs. Could use it for the gym instead, it would make more sense and cool looking with the pool there. - You don't actually do much with puppies besides build a relationship with them and shower them with love lol, once they turn into an adult you can train them by clicking on them and i think the option is "learn tricks"? can't quite remember haha. I think Tufty is an adult dog so you may be able to train it first, thats why it seems bigger than the other two doggos as they are puppies. - You dont need to keep going into build mode to drag the plates into the bin, you can do that in Live Mode too - When you are in build mode, on the far left bottom of the screen, you'll see an open box with like an orange triangular "!" icon, click on that, some times items fall into there (aka: inventory) during building when you place/delete other items down.. it's a weird thing lol but you learn to live with it. You can sell those items off and get more simoleons - Instead of always deleting an item just to pick another colour option, you can go to the top nav bar where the undo button is and click on the thing that looks like a fan then click on the item you want to change the colour of, then pick your colour. - And in the same realm of things, if you want to use the same item but can't exactly remember where it is etc, you can pick the "dropper" tool, again in the nav bar where the undo button bit is, click it, then click the object/item you want to clone hope this helps, happy simming :)
actually you dont even need beds or toys for the dogs. They can and will sleep on the floor, couch or bed and you can choose the play action on them, take them for a walk, go on adventure (depending on their traits) for fun. My sim dogs never play with their toys to be honest.
Kementari My sim dog is the opposite lol it’s always playing with the toys and getting the ball out so my sim is always tidying the toys away after 😂 But yes very true about the pet bed, I’ve seen my sim dog sleep on the sofa more than the pet bed!
Letícia Bernardes they said they were thinking of putting stairs either outside or where the “pet room” currently is, that’s why they were playing with twisting of the stairs 😊
here’s a few tips!! -your toilet and one of the mirrors disappeared upstairs so you should add those back in -make sure you’re always checking the dogs’ food bowls -you should also take your dogs for a walk -depending on what traits your dogs have, you can interact with them to fulfill their traits needs -you should change the foundation of the pool to stilts like the rest of the house -the window you put in the closet upstairs is the half size of the big ones you used for the pool so to make the pool look better and more symmetrical replace the single windows you used to the one from the closet
I think Dianne would love a yoga mat on the front balcony with her morning coffee area! I think the smaller room should be the animals room for food and drink etc but you could maybe add dog BEDS in the kids rooms! Also in the pool balcony it would be cool if you had dog agility equipment ton train the dogs - which is the CUTEST THING EVER! (These are good capital letters) ❤️
Maybe move the office/playroom to the room by the pool, and then split the other whole side of the house into a dogs room and three kids rooms?😊 Love the series!
READ THIS! You must have almost 100 items in your inventory! It annoys me that you aren't opening the inventory if you don't know how then go onto build mode and where you can go onto build mode click on the box in the very bottom left of the screen with the exclamation mark on it. You could probably make loads of money from deleting items. Like this so they know x
Some ideas for you two 😊 - I know this wasn’t technically an option but I think you should move the office (Room 4) to room 3 so whilst working you have a cool view of the pool and the outside from there. - Evenly space out room 1,2 & 4. Making room 1 Chris’, room 2 for the twins, room 4 for the dogs, and room 3 office. - The gym equipment like the punching bag and a treadmill can go on the balcony without the pool. - Or different option: as you don’t really need a room dedicated to the dogs you just ideally need the basics like dog beds, food bowels and some toys. You could make room 3 a gym and then space out rooms 1 & 2 for the children, although they are very small. - Also please change the foundation under the pool to the stilts so it matches. Tips: •you need to put stilts on the ground where the Aquarium is •The dogs need: beds, food bowls, toy chest •There are towels in the game if you look where you found the water ballon bucket you will see towels • don’t forget to add lights and flooring • you can buy stairs that don’t have a wall attached to them, it will make the house look less unfinished. The stairs that you have at the front door will look GOOD! Hope this helps!

I love it all so much! A little feedback: - I LOVE the pool, that's the best part so far - please sort out the sunflowers - You could get rid of the speakers for more money (at least until you have another party) - The pets room should be the smallest room because you don't need that much space and it's doubtful they'll spend a lot of time in there anyways - About your stuff disappearing, could it be possible that either: a) you have a thief b) Ghost Nancy is messing with it c) the thief IS ghost Nancy? Because weren't people saying that she was an actual thief before? - add a couple more lawn chairs on your top patio (without the pool) (if you want) That's everything off the top of my head. This is my first time commenting but I am OBSESSED with this series. I don't know much about the Sims but hopefully my suggestions are helpful. Thanks guys, love you :)
@@marykatemcguinness3207 Nah I think the smallest room will be fine, the dogs will get bigger but they'll still need the same sized beds etc. so they won't need loads more room
The main things you need for dogs are: food bowls, beds, toys, puppies can’t wear collars but adult dogs can and you can find collars in the same place you pick clothes for sims and remember to go on walks with dogs 💓
Just to solve the disappearing furniture, remember how Nancy is a thief, she is stealing the objects! Please release her into the netherworld , like so Joanne can see!

Ann German wow, that’s so strange. No we don’t have states, we have capitals and counties. I do watch a lot of British RU-vidrs but I find myself watching lots of American RU-vidrs too. I would love to hear about any other questions you may have as I love this type of things!
Ann German I think make the ‘pet room’ one of the girls rooms and yours and diannes room the other girls and the en suite Chris Lille’s and out a puppy bed in each of the kids rooms. Or make the girls room what you was going to make the pet room and have your old en suite as the pet room.

Just want to say a massive thank you to both Joe & Dianne for uploading this Sims series❤️ I have never played or watched the sims before and about a week ago I decided to watch this series!! From the first episode I fell in love and became addicted!!! I am now fully caught up and always looking forward to new episodes:) my lockdown was so boring before I found this and now this is keeping me going💪 Love you guys 💓
Loving the series. I think you should move the study into the room next to the pool room and make the three rooms along where the bedroom en-suite and study used to be into the kids rooms. Then put one bed in each of the kids rooms for the dogs and then each kid can have a particular dog xxx
Joe just remember it’s only a very few who get angry in the comments😂 the other 100k + enjoy it and aren’t bothered😅 also- you could add a basement for a gym? Or use the pool room for a gym and have the dog beds in the living area or kids bedrooms
“Trust me, Diane is going to be having more babies” bad news Diane, the twins will have to age up and leave before you do that, you can only have 8 household members and that includes the dogs
You can become a mermaid in the sims (which I know Dianne would love) basically you have to explore the cave which is near the ship wreck on mua pel’am (one of the destinations in sulani) you have to explore it a quite a few times (how many times it takes can vary) but eventually you will find mermaid kelp in your sims inventory. If you sim eats one then they turns into a mermaid if you make them go swimming then you can see them in their mermaid form. You sim is only a mermaid in water. You can then change their appearance in create a sim (where you edit sims outfits) and you can make Dianne look like Ariel if you would like. I hope this helped. Room 1: pets Room 2: Chris-Lilley Room 3: twins I also think the whale thing at the back isnt actually resting on the water so it cant be used, its floating as if its on the floor above. And you have stuff in your inventory (bottom left corner) so that might be where everything vanished to :)
I would recommend looking at the rocket science skill and building a rocket in the garden or on the balcony if possible. You can explore space with fun scenarios and woohoo in it
For future, use the tools at the top of the screen The eye drop: tap on an object you want to copy and it copies the object The ‘sheets’ or whatever they are that are fanned out: click on an object and you can change the colour of objects The hammer: gets rid of objects The arrows undo and redo Hope this was helpful, I’m loving the series!! You could move the study/ RU-vid room to room three and then make all the kids rooms and pets room in room 1, 2 and the old study/ RU-vid room. Love this series :)
Catching up from yesterday, looks good! 💛💚💙 Built a Toblerone shaped house (The Suggwell Toblerone) (hehe) for you to view in a future episode as requested on Friday! It's all set up for your family if you were going to move. Only things that may disappear due to you not having packs is washing machine (from laundry day), sauna (spa day) and wall ivy (get together/jungle adventure). Those packs do have some amazing build/buy items, particularly plants lol. Edit: yay, you chose many objects today that I put in the build. Hope I sort of got your taste a little 💙💚💛
First of all, I fricking love the pool room I'm definitely stealing your idea and putting it on my sims hehe 🙈. I think moving the office into the pool room would look cool and then dividing those 3 along that side of the house better so the kids have more room. Have the one that's the office now be the dog room but make it smaller and have the other 2 for the kids' rooms. Also, you could knock down some of the walls so the dog room is more like a cove off the living room.
TIPS: The twins room could be the office as its bigger, chris lilys room should be your old room and with the dogs room next to it. And then move the office into the room which looks onto the aquarium !! Also check your family inventory in build mode (the little box at the bottom) as they'll be loads of thing to sell which you don't need from when you moved houses.
Hi guys. I've really been loving the series! I have to commend Dianne's sense for spatial planning, (truly)! In terms of my suggestions for your redesign of the kids' bedrooms, pet room and gym: -Consider making the gym next to the kitchen and looking into the pool room? -Then maybe decrease the size of the media/study, and put all kids on the side of the house with the old Master bedroom etc. -I feel like pet room could be smallish, and maybe where the old master bathroom was? Either way it all looks great!
The dogs that are puppies atm might grow up into large dogs which will need quite big beds (which I'm not sure will fit into the small room), however in my experience dogs in the sims don't often use their beds and prefer sleeping on sofas, so one big bed and a small dog bed will probably work fine! Also if you're needing more space once you've had more kids you could always add a basement which could give you tonnes more room! and wouldn't look too dark and miserable if plenty of lights, mirrors and wall decorations are used :)
Hey, love the series - you guys are so funny. Here's a few things that made my Sims game easier. Tip for placing the floor down: If you chose which floor you want, then place the mouse over the floor and press 'shift', you can see how the room would look with that flooring without actually purchasing it and placing it down. This way you can easily test how different flooring looks in the matter of seconds. 👍🏻 Tip for copying/changing colour of objects: When in build mode, say you wanted to change the colour of the sofa, instead of selling in and buying a new on in a new colour (which you actually lose money by doing), you can simply press the 'R' key and click on the sofa. It will then come up with the colours you can change it to. Additionally, say you have a chair and you want another of the same kind, instead of searching it, you can simply press 'E' which is the clone button to quickly clone another. Tip for giving a house tour: If you go in live mode and press the arrow pointing right with a small vertical line next to it key on your keyboard (its usually above the caps-lock key), it lets you see your house and the sims world kind of in the way the sims see it. You can press 'E' to rise up or 'Q' to go lower; 'X' zooms out and 'Z' zooms in. Then, you can move backwards/forwards using the normal arrow keys or the 'A','W','D','S' keys. You can also look around by moving your mouse around - just make sure you have clicked on the screen and the computer mouse doesn't appear on the screen. Tip for making easy money: Buy, grown and sell fruit, vegetables and flowers. I get loads of money from this on my sims. It's so easy and you can buy 'Garden Planter Boxes' and place them on your balcony. As far as I know, the grapes are the ones that sell for the most money. Just evolve the plants up, keeping them heathy and their quality should rise, meaning they will sell for more money. Hope these help! ❤️
Scary how similar this is to a build I’ve made which had the poor feature, glass flooring and the waterfall down the side of the house. Madness. The house is finally starting to take shape guys! Keep going. Loving this. Don’t stop the series EVER
You could add another set of stairs from the balcony with the pool and remove the roof and add a grass rooftop for the gym and make a modern yet Islandy life house.

You can get a dog food dispenser and set it for times when the food is dispensed. Dianne also mentioned having pictures of the kids, you can get a photo studio/take selfies on their phones. The photos will then be in their inventories and you can put them on the wall (you can also add frames). Also loving the series, it is the highlight of my day. X
Hey guys, I loved this episode but here are some things that may be useful: - you noticed some of your furniture has disappeared (eg your front door) and I’m pretty sure that it’s because Nancy’s ghost is in your house. Remember her job was a criminal and she steals things from people at night. Therefore I’d suggest releasing her spirit so you don’t lose all her money on rebuying things haha - I would say the dogs don’t necessarily need a room of their own as long as they’ve got some space where their stuff can go, if you really want to give them a room then I’d say choose room 1 bc it’s the smallest. - I think the girls should keep their room where it was, so room 3 and then Chris would take room 2. However obviously this is your choice so do it however you think looks best as everything’s looked great so far - If you guys are looking for ways to fill space, then you can search in build mode for “clutter” which will show you small random stuff that you can place around to make it look more homely. Eg candles, soap, spice rack, etc - finally if you guys wanna add to the balcony then maybe put a couple pots/plant patches for gardening. It would give it a nice garden-y feel which it seems like you guys may like bc of all the plants you use 😂 Hope you found this helpful. I can’t wait for the finished house.
Room number 1 ( the smallest one) should be the room for the dogs because they aren’t gonna be in the room all the time, only to sleep and eat. They will walk around the house so the amount of space doesn’t really need to be big for them. Also you should put a treadmill on the small outdoor deck (not the one with the pool) for the sims to run. If that doesn’t work for you (if you don’t like it) then cut room number 3 in half and make half of it a gym.
1) put wallpaper on the stairs 2) use your favorite cheat bb.moveobjects and use the alt key to arrange pictures on the wall the way you want it 3) puppies can’t climb stairs or get toys out of the toy box, so you’ll have to grab toys out for them and pick them up to take them outside to go potty.4) delete the big mirror next to stairs, it doesn’t look good. Personally, I would push the stairs against the wall but then it’ll change your upstairs, so you don’t have to do that if you don’t want. 5) put curtains over your windows, it just makes the house look complete. 6) Don’t forget to add a roof. 7) I think instead of worrying about the decorations, you should put down all the essentials first. That’s just something that I do first when I’m dealing with a budget. Overall, I’m really enjoying the series!
