I’ve played since base d1, and the whole time the raids have been by a massive margin the best multiplayer content ever made, and it is a travesty it is stapled to a chore simulator. I enjoy Grindy games, but that gameplay loop of destiny is mind numbing
This is really nice as i am a hard Destiny 2 player. The Crystal design was probably from the Dogs encounter or the Baths encounter from Leviathan raid. You deserve a much bigger community and this video had me hooked the second you mentioned Destiny 2. Keep it up man ❤
As always, an excellent video! By solving all of the hints and interpreting "more than 15 hours of afk" as exactly 15 hours, and then multiplying the gold blocks by 19 shulkers (hint suggested 18-20), I calculated all the other hints. From there, I computed the average value of the results from the three hints, subtracted the last 63 blocks, and arrived at a conclusion of approximately 29.622 gold blocks. Although this result doesn't seem to make much sense compared to the comments, it still falls below the 100,000 limit. So even if this comment is written in poor English and is 1 month late i will take different approach and try with the 29.622 gold blocks. Hope not to destroy my online reputation. (Yes I have to much free time)
Hmm, lemme crank up some math. 2:34 Hint 1: 1600 Gold Blocks /h, need to afk for over 15h => A bare minimum of 24.000 Gold Blocks 6:10 Hint 2: between 18-20 shulkerboxes of Gold Blocks => A Shulkerbox has 27 slots => Between 31.104 and 34.560 Gold Blocks 8:19 Hint 3: just under 2.6 million nuggets => Just under 2.600.000 /81 = 32.098,76 Gold Blocks, but since you can't have .76 of a Gold block, we'll say the upper bound is 32.098 Gold Blocks So the number we're looking for is between 31.104 and 32.098 Gold Blocks. So I will have to say 31.685 Gold Blocks, a little bit over the average between the bounds.
That is mind-blowing. You guys have an incredible world, and I adore how you use a variety of styles for all your builds. It gives different areas a distinct character and makes the world more engaging. So cool! 😍
Really cool build being a former Destiny player I really like how you combined the two! Absolutely amazing, I especially like the frog lights really making the rings around it pop out. My guess is 31,768
Went through a bunch of mental gymnastics to try and figure out the number. The faster someone finds it, the faster we can get the blueprint for this amazing build. Through my math I ended up with the number 31,489 blocks of gold. Hope to see more great builds like this in the future.
After looking at all the tips, reading almost every comment including the creators reaction and doing all the math possible I narrowed it down to some number between 31.362 and 31.462. Since the average of the two numbers has been tried already, I’ll guess 31.437 which is the average of the average and the upper limit (basically 3/4).
18 shulker boxes, no more than 20, you mentioned you had to afk for 20+ hours in the farm, with the 1600 gold it produces per hour, that makes it 32000 gold ingots, you also mentioned you roughly needed 2 million gold nuggets to convert to blocks, 2 million gold nuggets is 32098.7654321 gold blocks, 18 shulker boxes is 31104, meaning we can eliminate 18, and 20, leaving us to believe you have used 19 shulker boxes which is 32832, this confirms you have used 32000~ gold blocks, with the amount of shulker boxes, the hours you spent afking, and the 2 million nuggets, all add up to 32k, we can get an average of "32310.255144" gold blocks, that ofc could not be the *exact* number due to many variables, but it does give me a pretty good guess, 32832, 19 shulker boxes :D
I like your reasoning and that is a great guess! The over 20 hours did include getting gold for bartering, so that brings your final answer a little high!
You said it took you 20+ hours of afk at 1600 blocks/hr, and less than 2,600,000 nuggets, making it between 32,000 and 32,098.8 blocks. In stacks, 32,000 is exactly 500 stacks. The last block placed was the start of a new stack, so the number could be 32,001. This also makes the number significant enough to want to make people guess about it. 32,065 also works but since 32,001 is a cooler number that is my final answer.
Im a huge destiny fan I've been playing both D1 and D2 since Alpha and beta days. Super happy to see someone take insperation from the coolest Raid IMO in D2
This is honestly a great build, in terms of practical use, and looks! Great job. After doing some thinking, I think you guys will need 32156 gold blocks.
hint 1: (1,600*15)= 24,000 hint 2: (27x64x18) = 31,104 (27x64x19) = 32,832 (27x64x20) = 34,560 hint 3: (2,600,000/9)/9 = 32,098.76 or 32,098 but considering there was a lot of "just under" and "just over", my final guess is 31,557
Well, since only gold blocks were used, the answer to the question clearly has to be a multiple of 9. If you say that you have to craft 2.6 million nuggets, it tells us that it would be in a range between 32,000 to 32,700 blocks approx, leaving 94 possible solutions My bet is that they are 32094, 32085 or 32103. Although I think it is more the first because of the calculator's response But, here are the other possible combinations hehe 32004 32013 32022 32031 32040 32049 32058 32067 32076 32085 32094 32103 32112 32121 32130 32139 32148 32157 32166 32175 32184 32193 32202 32211 32220 32229 32238 32247 32256 32265 32274 32283 32292 32301 32310 32319 32328 32337 32346 32355 32364 32373 32382 32391 32400 32409 32418 32427 32436 32445 32454 32463 32472 32481 32490 32499 32508 32517 32526 32535 32544 32553 32562 32571 32580 32589 32598 32607 32616 32625 32634 32643 32652 32661 32670 32679 32688 32697 Good video and the challenge was fun :D
As for my guess, you said in the video 18-20 Shulkers. So I technically have 3 guesses as I calculated all 3 possibilities. 18 Shulkers equals 31,104 blocks/ 19 Shulkers equals 32,832 blocks and 20 Shulkers equals 34,560 blocks. If I had to only pick one answer however, it would have to be 32,832. P.s Awesome video, your build reminds me of something JeraCraft might build. I can totally see you and your friend becoming mythical builders as well one of this era's GOAT minecraft channels.🎉❤😎
Hint 1: "We need to AFK for at least 15 hours" 15*1600 = 24000, so it's at least 24000 Hint 2: "We need at least 18 shulker boxes of gold blocks, but no more than 20" Since there are 27 slots in a shulker box, the amount is between 18*27 and 20*27 (or between 31104 and 34560) Hint 3: "I needed to craft 2.6 million nuggets into bars, and then into blocks" You would divide 2.6 million by 9, and then that by 9 again to get a narrower guess on the blocks. The exact number you get when doing this is 32098.7654321, but I would probably round up since other people have said 32098 and have not gotten it. My final answer will be 32,099 blocks of gold.
@@whatsminedisyours gahhhhh mn I’m not sure cause you said the total amount of blocks is just under 100,000 and a lot of it is gold so- 49,874???? Imma just start randomly guessing now-
I’m guessing a giant gold mountain or floating island Edit: I misunderstood, we were supposed to guess the gold block amount, not the build. Still an awesome video, earned a sub
At the very end of the video you have a 63 block stack of gold in your inventory, so if you used only stacks of blocks, paired with the amount from the hints, my guess would be somewhere close to 31, 359 blocks of gold? Anyways, the froglights on the back of the gold spirals look amazing with the nighttime and those shaders, sick build man!
After a while i guess is 31,425 or 31,489 because in one comment you say that he was in a range of 50 so it was between 31,408 and 31,508 after because you use a new stack that mean that you use 491 stack or 492 in the range and because that was a new stack we need to add 1 so: 64x461 = 31,424 + 1 = 31,425 64x462 = 31,488 + 1 = 31,489 and because you say "pretty darn close guess!!" at 31,467 i will guess 31,489 i let 31,425 for someone else
From my findings it has to be somewhere between 34560 and 31104 and due to the decreased spawn rates I would have to suggest a rough estimate of 32568 given that 19 shulker boxes totals to 32832 blocks
so based off of all the hints i got it down to be around 31500 blocks of gold (which i also think the final place of a full stack is a bait to lean calculations a slight bit) but, then i went detective mode and read through a few comment guesses (not sure if thats cheating) and found an interesting few comments and found the following information 1st part, a guess of 31,458 was within 50 blocks so that means it should be in the range of 31,408 gold blocks and 31,508 at the absolute max and min giving a 50 cushion on each end. 2nd part is that 31,602 was and a quote "Darn Close" so that made me wonder since 31,458 was within 50 blocks 3rd part another comment is that 31,556 is real close so then based off that comment of 31,458 being within 50 blocks was leaning me towards the higher end of the 50 blocks so on my calculations i took the high end of that 50 block range, the 31,602 and the 31,556 and took the median of them all and got 31,555.5 which would round to 31,556 which was already said so im guessing the 31,556 did the same as me with that idea so im going to leave out the 31,458 comment and take the median of the other two for a final guess of 31,579 gold blocks used
(Unrelated)Id say using X-ray to get materials just for esthetics is fine but maybe make a pack that makes all ores disappear and keeps building blocks
at 7:25 he said he gets 150,000 items an hr, earlier he said he would have to afk for about 15 hrs, 15 x 150,000 is 2.3M items. 2.3M/64 is about 36,000. If we assume that 2-3 thousand of those items are nuggets and rotten flesh, that would be somewhere around 34,000 blocks of gold. I did make my guess at 7:30 so maybe i'll have a better guess after the hints but for now, 34,251 is my guess.
Great Video! For the gold block guess in our situation we have to discard the first data point as it gives us a minimum which later cannot be used because the second data set gives us a more accurate minimum, now that iv'e clarified that we can move on. For starters we take the second hint of "more than 18 less than 20 shulker boxes" as for a shulker box it has 27 inventory slots, as because we are calculation gold blocks which reach their stack limit at 64 we can say 1728 items can be held per shulker, by multiplying each by their representative shulker count(18-20) this gives us a estimate range of 31104(18 boxes) to about 34560(20 boxes). Moving on from this we can narrow down our search further with the third hint of "just under 2.6 million(2,600,000) golden nuggets" which we will later convert into ingots and then blocks for easier calculations. Calculating that out we go from 2600000 nuggets -> ~288888.89 ingots -> ~32098.7654321 blocks, which by rounding down because of the "Just under 2.6 mill golden nuggets" giving us our other base at 32098 blocks. Going back to our first calculation set of 31104-34560 we discard the second number as we just calculated a more accurate baseline of total possible gold blocks eliminating the second irrelevant data set of 32099 to 34560. Afterwards we can now safely assume that the exact amount resides within the data set (31104-32098). Unfortunately we do not have any more data points to narrow it down further for more accuracy and so the most logical guess from this would be the average(between the two points) which we can get by adding the two numbers and dividing by the number of values being averaged in our case two, giving us the most logical guess we can make at 31601 Gold Blocks, sorry if that was kinda hard to track with.
I dont know why but i thought there was a 4th hint haha, honestly amazing build, I played a lot of Destiny 1 and 2 so this build kinda set up that nostalgia. Although whenever i think of gold i think about Osiris from destiny and those pyramid shape builds in mercury Block guess: 32,038 gold blocks
35,200 ish blocks. if it needs to be exact, then i'll go for 35,248 blocks edit: looking more thoroughly through the hints. hint 1: expected rates (1,600/hr) needed 15+ hours hint 2: 18-20 shulker boxes needed hint 3: 2.6 mil nuggets crafted into blocks 15 x 1,600 = 24,000. pretty low, so let's say 20-22 since 17-18 is also low. 20 is exactly 32k and 22 is 35k 27 (how much stacks is in a shulker) x 18 (how many shulkers there are) x 64 (items in a stack) = 31,104. 27 x 19 x 64 = 32,832. 27 x 20 x 64 = 34,560. 2.6 million / 9 / 9 = 32,098, so anyone below 32k is wrong. let's infer that looting 3 is enabled and we have a drop rate of about 4% for ingots, adding 1,284 blocks, so we have at least 33.3k. We cannot go over 34,560, as that would be more than 20 shulkers. hint 1 was vague, saying more than 15 hours, lets infer somewhere within the 20-22 range like before, and 21x1600 is 33.6k so i think we're getting close. There is no smelting setup and at 11:19 mans basically says he discards them into the ocean, so no calculation needed for that. my final guess is 33,583 blocks based on my calculations. edit 2: idk why i decided to go 'tryhard' on this, pretty sure this is my first video of you i've seen lol edit 3: at 10:02 he said lower efficiency from 20+ hours of afking, so let's say that took 5-10% off efficiency, that's still over 30k. He then proceeded to afk for some time and build for some time, so about 2-6 hours of 'farming' again, 4x1600=6400, 5 is 8k, but we can't go over 34k so efficiency knocked down is off. 70% efficiency with 5 hours is 31.4k so probably not that bad. 75% efficiency brings it back up around 33.5k so i'm still confident in my 'final guess' up there in the first edit. also, the afk spot could be in the nether so all of that could be completely wrong lol. I'm changing my answer to 32,845, go with this one pls lol
If you have used "roughly" 2.6milion nuggets then it means that you used less than 32098 blocks, additionally you said that you used from 18-20 shulkerboxes of gold blocks, so from 31104 to 34560 blocks. So the final number should be between 31104 and 32098 blocks. My final answer is: 31467 blocks.
Using the median of all of the hints combined it comes out to 29643 but that is far to little based on the final hint so the total would likely be around 32100 with likely a 50 block difference up and down in numbers(it’s likely impossible to guess based on the hints you gave they were very vague)
For the gold thing, Maybe Calus in general. I joined in BL so I didnt get to Leviathen, but going back to it in Season of the Haunted definately kept up the vibe. But if Im not talking Destiny then its gotta be the scene in the Deslotion of Smaug where he is dipped into the golden pool. or Just the Dwarves stock pile in general.
Going out on a whim here, but I'm going to make the assumption that this took 32,064 blocks of gold? Saying that you said it took less than 2.6 million nuggets, which a lot of people have just divided it by 9 twice, and that is not less than 2.6 million. 32,064, It's a multiple of 64 which i know makes no sense really, but still, and it lies over 18 shulkers and under 20. Also im aware that this was posted 2 months ago, but I still wanted to have a go at it.
wow, just wow. i feel like it's been ages since I've seen such a cool build for a gold farm, probably because I've been away from the minecraft community. oh yeah, and my guess is 32267 gold blocks now don't mind me checking your channel for more videos like this
31,104 gold blocks for 18 Shulkers 32,832 gold blocks for 19 Shulkers 34,560 gold blocks for 20 Shulkers You AFKed to get a total of 1,728 gold blocks per shulker box, and this was left until you had Between 18 and 19 Shulker boxes, but you said "No more than 20", which narrows it down to these three guesses, and I did the math.
nothing original I can really say other than this truly is an impressive build and just the time and energy put into it makes me exhausted so hopefully you can continue to make videos like this hint 1= 1600hr x15=24,000 hint 2=2.6 million nuggets/81= 32,098.76543209877 so 32,098 (only nuggets) altogether was 100,000 -10,000 froglights -10,000 Blackstone - half a shulker of 😭obsidian 27/2*64=864 79,136 blocks remaining so that's my guess
