This truck would never of been finished if Rob hadn’t of got involved. Tim just can’t stay on task , even something as simple as replacing huck bolts . I like the channel, it’s like watching a car wreck. Thanks Rob and the people at SH tube.
They have more fans local as people like local people dont see many comments from the bronx on here or manhatten. He will have used a giveaway company and will have video of winner being selected as he cant be there in person.ask him to show it or name giveaway company so you can check he wint have anything to hide it wont be his wife picking off ordebook who she likes the most lol. As he ever mentioned the giveaway company ? In anerica dont you have tp pay tax if you win a car or truck?
🔥right on, trucks are all looking beautiful. You and your crew are def hard working group of guyz. Rob you really are a top notch guy, everyone’s dream friend, dad and grandpa 🔥👊🔥⚙️🏍🔨🚜
beautiful looking pete...rooster..keep making great videos 📹 👍 👌 and Braxton a great help to all of you..he'll have fun getting behind the wheel....it's great having people and friends to look up to...thanks for the adventures...
You all need to shut the hell up. He sounded like an ol boy that don't know shit about the internet. He didn't know how to subscribe. If you all hate tim so much why you watch for?
Wishing yall the best for the show, the drive, home safe! BRAXY you are one hard working and determined and special young feller! 👍🏻. Good luck to yall ! ROB & TIM and the young men of both shops, way to go! Yall put it in another gear and got one heck of a lot completed. My hats off to yall. ✌🏻🧡🤘🤙😎 🇨🇦.
Tim working on offshore drilling rigs for 30 years. being out surrounded by saltwater things rust fast and all the time. Years ago I started to have my men use Ospho it.s a metal treatment. it kills rust and prevents it from coming back. This is how you use it brush Ospho on the frame or whatever there will be areas that will have a white powder that is what is left from the rust brush it off then put a second coat after that prime and paint. If you like to have something rust free Ospho is the best
Deatail guy knows his stuff and if tim can get somevfree bottles of ceramic coat at truck show and tgere is a collab he can make a dollar from he will be there.
Beautiful trucks, guys. You folks have really dug in and accomplished plenty. I say that Rooster has every right to crow, especially after this fantastic revival. Keep on keepin on.
Hey Daisy duke was hot...though I mostly watched Dukes of hazard for the cat and mouse routine with Rosco and Ennis chasing the General Lee. I was a big fan of Looney toons growing up and it reminded me of the Coyote and road runner. 😂
Well tim I'm impressed, that phone call looked like the hardest thing you've ever done. Nice work rooster is looking real good, think I'll go buy a hat ya never know...... thanx for bringing us into the shop
Guy knew tim was calling he had been told he won thats why he said are sure as if tim told me its raining id have to go outside to check for myself. Ever seen tim so calm and aweet was just for camera he knew hed won and congratukations to him.
@@AG-ob3fxthen why you watch? I don’t watch people that I have a bad opinion about and I think most people feel the same so I don’t understand why you are even on here.
@@bidder7118 ???????? I I enjoy channek and have friends who exagerate and bs alot but still my friends. I am saying winner knew hed won and that call was just for video. I have defended tim on this video alot in other comments but can say he is like an excited puppy and 1 day he promises 1 thing the neext day complete opposite. Tim is an excited puppy and jumps around like chasing a ball and does lie or a softer word if you prefer. All I said here was wimner knew hed won and id have to check weaylther if tm said it was raining both can be true..... peace
@@AG-ob3fx well straight up I know these guys personally Tim pays rob well for his help. Yes Tim’s a idiot but remember his just a normal gubber that got kinda big on RU-vid and not sure how to do it. But other than the plans he makes and changes he’s not a crook or scammer. Dude didn’t know he won he is just a grown ass country man. You can hear his wife being excited in back ground and if that scripted that was terrible. Seriously though Tim’s a nerd but I guarantee if broke down in front of his house he offer u food a drink a ride or a haul so in my book his a good dude
@@bidder7118 i like him and he has good values and if you see some of my defences of him when others saying gave truck to friend then we will agree on more than we disagree on. I defended the fire claim and said he would do givesway properly through a giveaway company. I think winner been told they won but didnt believe it untll they heard tim say it like if random person rang your phone saying you won and tim would call you and wouldnt be excited until you heard his voice you believed it. Not acting i .....ts human nature you dont want to get too excited and until you hear tim confirm it then you believe it. Tim just promises the world sometimes and deivers a tiny island. I dont believe all he says no and believe hes got good hesrt and great familly and his dad is amazing. Im sure he does pay rob for stuff but also got alot back from rob for promoting sh tube. Works for both of them.
Ah man a stretched Rooster sounds like a plan.... get a sweet chassis and spend some quality time getting it show ready, c'mon you know how much you like to have a few projects on the go.
Idk if you guys will stretch the frame yourselves but if you decide to stretch it and have someone else do it, you HAVE to bring it to Exotic Fabrications in Wooster, Ohio. Does phenomenal work. Been friends with the owner since we were in college and he's a real stand up guy with lots of knowledge and talent! He doesn't let a truck leave unless it's done perfectly.
I'm new to channel and i thank you for the info i used to run the hauling livestock. Now I'm a city worker getting ready for retirement. I'm going to buy a truck and haul feed be home at night so again Thankyou and god bless you be safe.
You might look up using cans of compressed air instead of Freon. It is so much cheaper. You can buy an adapter to use and compressed air really works as AC coolant.
Looks good yall! Reminds me of my 1999 379 3406E had 98 lights on the truck and 198 on my trailer. I had a illuminated base around my shifter if I remember there were 15 lights inside the cab. Yep 80000lbs of polished crome and steel! I sold my rig 8 years ago and started hotshoting needless to say I do miss my Pete but I'm way farther ahead now I cut my operating expenses in half and trippled my income course that was right before covid hit but I'm still doing OK. Got six months to go then I'm retiring going to work 6 months out of year. I can't quit cold turkey after being out here for 48 years and almost 9 million miles so you can see what I mean! Good luck with everything!
Love to be able to rebuild my c15 . It's always been a dream of mine to fix my 379 and just do truck shows. Love your videos and the nice looking trucks you have.
When filling ac with freon, max fan outside air, and hold rpm up around 1,200 rpms until you have it charged Also make sure you pull vacuum down to 10 microns for 1/2-3/4 of an hour depending on how long system was open, and humidity. Typically when I know it's getting close to full charge, I put my hand on the line off the compressor, and you'll feel it flash cold as it comes to full. Then in few days check the pressures again, and I typically keep a thermometer in one of center vents so I can monitor the temperature. Also max fan isn't the best fan speed for best cooling med low, med, and med high, are better for cooling. High speed blows through the cool too fast to get optimum heat transfer because of the speed it passes through such a small surface. When you get in and it's hot from sitting, crack windows a little, put ac on outside air, and med med hi speed because outside temperature is lower than inside the vehicle, and once it cools down go to inside air circulation and med med low speed with windows closed, and you'll get cooler faster than on hi speeds PS Wait a minute, they're a stainless fab shop, with plasma tables, and brakes, rollers, tig welders, and have CAD design layout capabilities. They don't make their own line of fenders, bumpers, cab extensions, visors, and everything else that can be made to go on a tractor trailer combination, are anything else that people put chrome on to dress up their rides. I'm at a loss, especially after hearing that they had products in a bunch of retail venues, and have online sales plus in-house pickup available. With call in orders taken directly by design sales, and saying that they do any type of custom work as long as you call it in direct to office. I'm totally confused, because if they don't have the equipment to do those things then for small investment and a couple of good hands on the equipment needed to do that they're seriously losing big big money by the day is my opinion. Heck any decent hvac fab shop could make all that easier than the sheet metal they fabricate daily, and most of the big shops work two or three shifts 6 to 7 days a week building fittings 10X's more complicated than those items will ever be.. And a big shop make your stacks and other associated piping for your exhaust that just need dipped in chrome tanks. Not saying anything bad or disrespectful, but geez man that's nothing hard about none of those items if you have the equipment and few good hands running them.
I'm a 70s baby, well 1967 ...but when I watched the Dukes I was at least 10 or older. We didn't have but one television and it was black and white. And I'm glad my dad loved old westerns,. He liked the Dukes too but if there was a hockey game on or baseball . I wasn't watching anything. But I agree with the young man , Jessica Simpson 😍😍😍 but as far as watching the movie no thanks. And Heather Thomas, Heather Locklear, Barbara Eden etc. I heard Catherine Bach's legs were insured for over a million dollars back then.
Not a hater, just a thought from a long-time subscriber and fan. A guy who is clearly an acquaintance of Tim wins the truck and shows virtually no enthusiasm. Let's say he decides to take the cash instead of the truck. (We will never know how much cash.) Tim gets to keep the truck and put it back to work or sell it. I have to agree with all of the comments that said that the phone call and the "winner's" reaction just seem to be "off". Tim did not seem the least bit excited and the winner was less than enthusiastic. It all might be legit, but it sure doesn't feel that way. Again, just sharing a possibility, not hating on anybody.
Forget about that air nibbler for the rust on the frame. Use a sandblaster with steel grit. You will have a super smooth finish to paint on and won’t leave ripples like the air nibbler. You have to get all of the rust off and get a new surface or the rust will come back faster than ever.
I had an old kwopper with a really bad pitted frame, so after I sand blasted and needled the entire frame a friend of mine who was giving me a hand really he was giving me a hard time, he told me to relax and he would handle the frame, so he bought a big ole can of body filler and he made that frame smooth as a baby ass ,I never thought that it would hold up but he put some type of flexing agent in the bondo and 10 years later it's still looking good, maybe try that when you redo your frame
Money is not meant to control people, rather it is meant to be put to work producing more money for you. You cannot build wealth without putting money in its rightful place.
I had several truck I would take to shows.. mine were all workin trucks that went to shows.. they got alot more eyes on em than the fancy show trucks.. especially my triple rear 73 Pete 359 with the V12 twin turbo Detroit with the 18 double over trans
Rooster will be crowing loud at the show both trucks look awesome love those head lights thanks to Rob and the whole sh tube crew and your crew good work men
Dang wish i had made it to show was busy working all day i was in Crossville for first half of the morning had to get a few of my yards over there. The 127 sale made our day go about 4 hours longer than normal.
Well done to whole gentry team from Uk alot of sweat equity in that ole truck. Rob and sh tube you are the rock stars of the build and Rob is the truck whisperer. God knows how much sweat money in parts tim had from Rob. Loved the dukes of hazzard and im mid 50s and even in uk daisy dukes still what we call jeans shorts. Well done all and polish guy really made black truck look amazing. I prefer black 389 over rooster but think its a colour thing and its newer but can see how 379 and cat engine is what its about for the coal rollers.
Those needle scalers aren’t quiet…I pray rob will cherish his GOD given gift of hearing more in the future and try to protect it better moving forward.
Nothing funnier than a grown man polishing tanks with sunglasses on at midnight with a t-shirt on sweating and its 30 degrees outside.C'mon rachet-jaw!
