We hope you had as much fun watching this video as we did making it! If you'd like to check out how we built these tracks you can watch the build series here! 💡 ru-vid.com/group/PLMCvRxq4QdcesumAFI1bV-liqVpgUKqjj
I've been watching from the beginning and I have enjoyed you guys mature throughout your endeavors!!! Lots of love to the both of you guys and please keep the videos coming 💗
It's absolutely incredible that you guys can simply fabricate this stuff out of thin air. =) Hard not to love the can-do attitude you both have along with the love of the little things. You're a joy to watch! More build! More snowverlander! Merry Christmas, guys!
I remember watching the video when they made these. I thought there was no way in heck that these would work and that they were wasting their time. Obviously it is Crow eating time. Time will tell if they last the season or not, but it looks likes great job so far. Kudos to you two. Every time I think there is no way they can do it, they pull the rabbit out of the hat. Love, passion, necessity and ambition all in one package. Thanks for the great content.
I stumbled on your channel looking at pole buildings......and can't quit watching. I am a mechanical engineer too and about to retire soon. You did the right thing getting out of crazy corporate America. Great design on the tracks...awesome!
My dad was curious about how the tracks worked out, we all sat down and watched this video together. I don't why but we couldn't stop smiling while watching you drive the snowverlander. The skill level you two have is just absolutely amazing, I wish I had 25% of the ambition you guy's have. Keep pushing guy's
Fan-tas-tic video, guys!!!!! I love, just LOVE, how you get on with a job together! You're both incredible! Change wheels to snow tracks? No problem, Courtney's there with spacers, spanners, sheer strength and together they smash it! Guys you deserve to have such a great day. When you're driving around and folks see you how many orders do you think you'll take for the tracks??? Br hood in non-winter for muddy sites too. How have you approached the rust on the steel? Did you have it all powder coated?
Courtney, you mention onion and garlic aversion. I have Atrial Fibrillation, a dicky heartbeat, and, oddly, onion doesn't affect it, which is strange because think the two are in the same family. Like leeks, I'm OK with them Garlic, on the other hand, is terrible. My heartbeat goes crazy, I get hot, nauseous, dizzy, clammy - and those are only the good points!! Just kidding. I've had a few blue light rides after unknowingly eaten garlic. What have I found to put some taste back into my foods? Honestly, nothing so I'm sorry that I can't give you any good ideas but thought I'd tell you nonetheless. If you do get any workable ideas, will you let me know, please?? Blessings and thank you both for such great vids!
Wow, that is scary. I guess I should just be thankful my reaction is not as serious as yours! I’ll keep you posted if I find some secret flavor the world has been holding out on us! 😉
so glad it didn't throw a track, this being the first time on a new system. That was my fear, and based on what you said, probably yours as well. May it last the winter without issues.
Another great episode! There are lots of RU-vid channels making cool stuff but you're both so down to earth and your approach to filming and sharing your adventures is what makes this channel great. No clickbait titles or trying to create drama, it's awesome to see. Keep it up! Your "not how to" conent is always interesting too
As someone that used to work in a machine shop - the engineering that went into those tracks is absolutely amazing! So - couple Q's: - Where does Amazon deliver!? Do you have to go into town? - Do you keep the Jeep in low range the whole time? You guys are the best!
Hi Bob, thanks so much for the compliments! We have a parcel box at the local pack and ship store in town, they receive our Amazon shipments and hold them for us. We keep the Jeep in high range. The axles already have lower than stock ring and pinions in them (4.56:1) so that combined with effectively a 17" tire (drive wheel) instead of a 35" tire means that it is already geared really really low. E.G. 30mph on the speedo is 15mph in reality. It probably has a top speed of 40 mph with the tracks on.
As an Idaho transplant from Southern California (43 years ago), I hereby formally christen you, official Idahoans!! You will fit in most excellently here, as this video proves beyond any doubt.
That vehicle will go with those tracks on it . That was awesome and you all were having fun with it and videoing this for us, " Thank You " . I will see you all later and you all be careful and stay safe and keep on making us more videos . As always, Jeffrey !!!
Love it. I’m a fairly new subscriber and my first impression of city slickers who couldn’t walk on packed snow to fabricators who build functional snow tracks has been an eye opening journey. Now I’m off to find videos on your track build. So freakin impressed.
NICE TRACKS! two things to worry about with tracks, hard on the power steering unless assisted or ad an extra cooler, and B i would add a limiting strap/chain/shock back to the frame to avoid the track flipping over while driving higher speeds.
All your neighbor's are going to call you to get help in the snow. You need bar lights and a new sign for the snowverlander " Ambition Snow Rescue" Excellent machine, well done.
One of the most gratifying videos Ive seen after so much cost and work went into this project. What a dynamic duo you are! Awesome project which pushes the boundaries of what is possible. Always loved, snow, tracked vehicles and outdoors and this combines them all. Your can-do, pioneering spirit is awesome! Love the sound of those tracks on the snow! Time to mass produce these bad boys?
I love that this mod worked! I came to this channel about the time you started building your off grid home and that's what lead me here. that being said I also look forward to your vehicle projects. I guess its the ingenuity and figuring things out I enjoy from you both. Keep up the great vids and I look forward to more!
OMG! ! ! I was laughing my ass off watching you guys play in the Snovelander! ! ! You had so much fun and I soooo want to have one of those. Great video as always. Can't wait to see how it works in really deep snow. And Courtney.... welcome to my world. I too have a anaphylaxis allergy to onions and garlic. I'm sorry to hear you too suffer the same allergy. As you know it sure makes eating out at restaurants difficult as well as buying foods. Onion and garlic are in EVERYTHING! ! ! Keep up all the wonderful videos.
Great cinematography, beautiful scenery and fantastic attitudes. Looks like a lot of fun driving that around.. and nothing wrong with a little cold duck to celebrate success.
That was very cool!!! Incredible build and first test! Good turn radius too. Can't wait to see in some deeper snow. Looks like it just floats on top with those big profile tracks. Impressive!!! And for sure fun looking!
I love your “Snow Tracks” video a lot. I’m born in the snowy parts of Germany, moved yeas ago to South Africa, purchased a 100ha farm 80km away from CapeTown in 1999 and waiting since than for snow. When I have seen your video tears started running, and running. Excellent you Two Regards Klaus
I was so happy watching this - it was almost like an oddly satisfying video - relaxing with the heavy snowfall and scenery - the dogs etc . . I am also amazed at your home grown creativity - fabrication - engineering - DIY.
The lithium jump packs are incredible. I got one and was sceptical because they just look too small to be able to jump start big engines but man are they awesome!
We are enjoying what ever you upload.. we have a similar studio build in our future on remote ish propeety.. videography is good.. dogs are greaf.. keep it up..
So much fun to ride along with you guys on all your adventures! I'm more partial to 'build' stuff but everything you guys get up to has a component of creation, so just keep it comin' ❤
Hi, i'm Alex and i'm watching you guys from Berlin, Germany. We celebrate christmas on the 24th over here. So merry christmas 2 u both! Always fun and inspiring to see your entusiasm. Keep on going, plz :-)

When u both was like u drive, no u drive, I'm like give me the keys, I'll drive haha. You could prob make and sell them. Any who, Merry Christmas.
Very entertaining watching you guys in the snowlander ...you have to be proud of yourselves ...the living area is coming along ..did you see my comment about digging an inspection pig in the shop before you get the concrete poor...they are a great asset.Merry Christmas to you both from not so chilly England.
That was unbelievably amazing I cannot believe you did not get stuck anywhere. The fact that I actually watched you from the very beginning to build and figure out how to make those tracks and that they work is fabulous fantastic unbelievable awesome👍👍👍👍👍😁😁😁😁😁❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Congratulations!!!!! It is always great when a creation from scratch works as hoped. You guys did a great job. Plus the outfits are a WIN!!!!!!! Let’s hope for continued success
I thought I would offer a suggestion before even finishing the video. I would consider putting up some reflective markers alongside you road. That would allow you to make sure that you can stay in the middle of your road during the night time in case of an emergency. Also, throw a cheap tarp over the Jeep to make it easier to remove the snow from it before you drive it, same thing goes for the excavator or anything else you might need to move around the property that is stored outside during a snow storm. Other than those simple suggestions, Great Job!
Congratulations on an awesome conversion of an xj. You guys might benefit from a little insulation in that roof of the snowverlander. Would help I think with condensation a bunch. Keep up the good work!
This was so much fun watching you guys ride around. Your smiles were priceless. Have a Merry Christmas 🎄 Peace, love and joy to you guys. Be safe!😘🤗❄️🇻🇪
Wow. Always have a way to leave in an emergency. I don't know why, but I loved watching you guys drive through the snow with those tracks. Can't believe you made those...so cool. Now I want some. ;)
Merry Christmas! How fun is the Snoverlander!!! Thanks for the 80’s Flashback-what can I say- it was a colorful decade. Riley is all set for a Packers Game and Courtney could be the next Molly Ringwald. You guys would have fun with some cross country skis and a ski-journing harness for you and the dogs. Another way to get around in the snow and let the dogs burn off some energy. How about a trail grooming sled to pull behind the Snoverlander?
Congratulations on the fabrication, installation and test run of the Tracker. I am sure it will prove very useful in the coming months. Happy Holidays and be safe.
Courtney and Riley ain't gettin' stranded in the wilderness this winter, fo sho! Get a winch and you'll be having folks call you to get pulled out! ;) Those tracks are SO COOL! SNOWVERLANDER is a BEAST! WOW!
