When you want to engage your pto you just have to put your foot on the clutch and wait a few seconds then you should be able to engage it with ease. Also most trucks have a secondary cable attached to the throttle so you can set your idle speed for your pump typically between 700 and 1000 rpm. love your content looking forward to more tow truck shenanigans 😂

Hey boys! One bit of advice for Cleet on the scHyster... get you some forks that can take pins in the end to hold straps. It'll make sketchy cab moves a breeze!

I spent quite a few years building the rotor blades and composite fuel pods for the CH47 Chinook in Philadelphia. I could never forget that sound of eight blades beating the air into submission. When I was building the blades they cost the army around $250,000 per rotor blade times 8.

There needs to be MORE Cleet & Squirrel tow truck episodes. This needs to be a regular series.

Hell yeah I’m so excited my families got a wrecker service and that’s all I know we started out with the square bodies I remember doing willies as a child with my dad pulling big old trucks out

I am sure there are conflicting opinions and conversation on the topic of leave the cable out or wind it back in. All I'll say is this, my uncle was a tow driver for a ton of years and he left his cable down to the rear hook. One early morning, somehow the hook came loose, snagged a guide rail and then the tension of it sent the cable around the cab of the truck in through the rear window and struck my Uncle in the back of the head. He went into a telephone pole and was in coma for a few weeks. He has miraculously made an all but full recovery. I think I speak on behalf all the fans when I say be as safe as possible while having fun. I'm not trying to tell you what to do or how to do it. I just hope my Uncles story helps prevent it from happening to someone else.

FYI as well yall should hook up a high idle cable with the PTO engage lever to help with the dying under load thing, and you can absolutely take the PTOs in and out with the engine running, just have to depress the clutch and have a decent clutch brake. I just wanted to say Extreme Thank You for posting the longer videos like you have been. I have been at home recovering from a shattered femur and broken hip for the past 4 yrs and I look forward to your videos so hard-core. We thought my leg/hip had been healing good so I went to welding school (Stick, Mig & Tig) all of 2023 and rode a electric scooter the whole way rain or shine to save money for when I could start working. I went to get cleared by my Dr in January to start a new career in welding and I found out i have Osteoporosis, the neck and ball of my femur had lost blood flow and the ball of my femur died and has collapsed. Now I'm going to need a hip replacement and won't be able to start working for the rest of the year. The goal I set back in 2023 was to drive my self to the Freedom Factory from Maryland to Florida( since I havent had the money to get my licence back since I got hurt) to see a race in person after all these years. That will have to be postponed but that is still the goal at the top of my list just the date has changed. I hope you keep posting the longer videos they help more then I can even explain. Extreme High Five for basically being the coolest dudes on the planet. Have a super awesome day everyone.
