What makes this hurt so much is Kyle was my favorite vocalist from my favorite band and I never got to see him live, yet I listened to every album on repeat a million times. When he says Will I be remembered, or will I be lost in loving eyes? it hurts so bad, because it's both. You'll be remembered forever by these eyes you never saw, and theres thousands of other people like me out there who were touched so deeply, and moved so emotionally by the words Kyle spoke to me over and over. He'll never know what he did for me in my youth, teen years and adulthood. We'll never forget you, we love you. Thank you for everything you did, done and will continue to do, my brother.
I got to see them in March 2018... didn’t realize how lucky I was at the time. My friends had all left me to go into the pit so I was by myself before their set and Kyle was standing next to me with his mom and he asked if it was my first concert and I was like yeah. We had a full on conversation for about 10 minutes. He was such a great dude.
Dave was excellent here taking over Kyle's parts as well as handling his own. Dave has grown as a clean vocalist over the years while still not forsaking his unclean contributions.
20:31 First time I’ve heard this song. That video with the lyrics absolutely broke my heart. I listened to WCAR during the absolute worst time of my life and this band was like therapy to me. This music helped me through my worst and out of it. RIP Kyle 💔Thank you for giving your amazing voice to the world. To Dave and the other band members, thank you for continuing to make incredible music after such a tragedy.
Why is this still only at 16k views....seriously people We Came As Romans was right there at the start of 2010s post hardcore seen. Well either way the seeds of hope were planted in all of us.
I hate the amount of autotune on Dave's voice. I know he can sing (he's proved as much in the past, check Cold Like War live vids), but it sounds awful thanks to the glaring autotune.
Dave's screams starting to take the piss, but his singing's on point, my opinion is mixed, but I still stand with my brothers as Dave learns how to cope and such.
