Congrats on expanding your property! That's a huge win - not only a little more buffer but actually great resources for your plans and more area for the kids to explore :D
Congratulations on expanding. Also I need to say how incredibly talented Ben is with inventing tools. And so much more. What Meg made for dinner looked so good.
Ben is a very talented metal worker. Don't know if that is a accurate description but the best I can do. Congratulations on the land purchase. As usual Meg worked her kitchen magic.
It’s so lovely to see you all sitting down to eat your evening meal together including the littlest ones. This is how I was raised. So many people have just let mealtimes slide away from family life. I never married and I miss eating with people. I get 2 Sundays a month, when there’s a family dinner held. Trust me when I tell you that your kids will remember it and cherish those hours.
I remember you guys driving g up onto your Homestead and his excited you were. And look at you now. Still so excited and working it. So much stufg collected to be recycled and regenerated. You guys are what I would have lived to have lived in my younger years. We are buying the house we have been renting first 3 years now, after my cancer treatments ended 5/2020. We live in Maryland on the Eastern Shore, from Baltimore all my life. New my neighbor is a big farm with the best sunset on my back porch that I watch almost every night pondering his peaceful and safe my life is now. About to be 61 and starting over again. I wouldn't change anything that I have experienced because I now am at peace. I'm sure you know what I am feeling being out of the city and living my best life. Congratulations!
A couple of things … my old dad would have LOVED the cobbling together welding a tool thing. He did a lot of that too. Congrats on your news. That land will be loved. And finally, those pinwheel baked sandwiches looked so amazing! Thanks for a very lovely video!
Awesome to get back a little piece of land that was once part of your place. It's so beautiful and after the pigs do some cleaning it will be even better.
Congratulations on the expansions! It says a lot that you were ready when the opportunity arose! Good job!! *That metal stash is like a major Lego set for men!! Lol
Wow..that's wonderful news. Congratulations, now you have more place to grow. Can't wait to see how you will expand more plans in the future. Maybe that sunken greenhouse next?
Fabulous news you got the piece of land attached to your property because you never know what someone else might do with it….congratulations. 🌳 You were in your element making your amazing broad fork Ben and I’m sure you will enjoy using it in your other natural environment.
Having more land is so important and with trees ! God is good! Being able too build what you need it such a money saver and is sure a talent that pays . That broad fork is nice . The food from your kitchen would please a king! Yummy.
I love your place! I think you need to do a video summarizing your journey...show the transformation of your place over time or like a highlights video over the years. You all have accomplished so much! Oh my, I just heard your news! Congratulations!!!! This is so exciting! God is blessing you all.
Great build on the broadfork. Congrats on the new additional land to your existing property. I look forward to seeing what ya'll decide to do with it. Thank you for sharing your journey. Blessings.
whatever Meg made at the end of the video looked like an absolute showstopper. Man, that looked delicious and congratulations on the new land for the farmstead.
CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 😂🎉😂❤ I know I’m only one cranky-old batty lady too far away from you to know me but, I am so glad for you, I’m just so hoppy for you all. I was watching your programme, had a lot of people through today. Most unusual. I HAD to pause for the last 8-10 mins. Lastly my daughter arrived- so had to pause. When I came back on the program was in my library. The small amount of effort was REALLY WORTH it. I’m so glad to hear of your reward. I believe you are rewarded for the wonderful care of the ‘Timbers’ that this is a little ‘Good One Son!’. Got to go but God Bless and all my Love Ellen D. Qld, Australia
Ben and Meg, I've sort of been out of the loop for several months -- so many things have been happening, and just when I thought everything was leveling out and getting back on an even keel, my 38 year old nephew died suddenly from a massive heart attack. Of course, my sister and her husband and his sister have been absolutely devastated, and a couple of days ago my oldest sister has been placed in Hospice care, so I'm crying again. I suppose these things are to be expected -- I'm 78 myself-- but it still hurts. I'll never understand how those who have no faith can survive! Congratulations on your added property -- I'm happy for you. May God continue to bless you and yours.
Ben, I am speechless about the broad fork. I’m not a welder, but to me, you do beautiful work. Congratulations to the whole family on your new purchase!😊❤
That’s so great!! One acre can do so much! Our entire property is just 1 acre and we have the house and out buildings etc. but we do a lot here. That will add so many possibilities for y’all! ❤
Dang, that gorgeous broadfork cuts like butter! Cherry red is nice! Congrats on acquiring the new land of possibilities. Meg, those pinwheels are mouth watering to behold. Made your tomato pie the other day, added sheets of no-boil lazagna at the bottom to soak up the delicious juices--yum!
Good for your family...adding land one acre at a time...getting ready for hurricane lee to bring chaos to Maine...made a big pot of beef stew this morning and some scratch buttermilk biscuits...we might have some old pine trees come down if the winds are over 40mph...Cheers from Maine.🥛🍪🦞
Hope you have no damage. A couple years back hurricane Zeta caused a lit of damage for us and we are in N. Georgia. Took down 300 year old oaks this far inland and was a cat 1.
Ben, you are so talented! I like that you use your gifts to bless your family. You are a very hard worker and you and Meg compliment each other so well. I love that you both work hard for your family. Congratulations on being able to purchase the adjoining land, that's super exciting! Meg, your meals always make my mouth water. They always look sooo good! You guys are so blessed with your awesome family. God bless!
I love watching you do a metal project and then use it for your homestead. Nothing can be finer. But adding a piece of property does come very close. Getting to see both in one video, is awesome.
Congratulations on buying back a piece of land that originally belonged to that land. I will be interested to see what you do with some of the lumber...maybe it goes to the addition you want to add to your house. Whatever it is it will be great. The broad fork looks very sharp and study. I think it will really bite into some hard ground. Y'all take care and have a Blessed day. BTW Meg, your bread products, whether rolls, loaves, pizza, or the chicken rolls you just made, look so good.
Congratulations on your new land. It's always so exciting when something like that comes to fruition. I only have 1.5 acres and it's amazing how much I can grow, how many ducks, chickens and quail fit here, with room for lots more. So happy for your family!
Congratulations on you additional land! Ben, your broadfork is amazing. I think you, Jason and Al can build anything. Loving your pocasts! Meg, dinner looked delicious
Congratulations on your new acre. Every time I see Meg's kitchen creations I dream a big kitchen for her with 2 big stoves, 2 sinks and a huge island, lol. ❤❤ Keep up the good work.
