The bike looks great ! I also enjoyed the lovely countryside you rode through. It's a surprise to me that Germany has very different dialects in different parts of the country. Great video and i look forward to more!
It really has a lot of different dialects. I am from the only Region that speaks German the way it’s spoken on tv the Rest has a lot of different Dialekts.
@@FreeMilesMC amazon sells hammocks with mosquito net + tarp for 30 euro. That, a cook set , water blatter, and a foldable chair, sleeping bag and a thin yofa mat to insulate your back gets you 99% in the wild caming game. Just stash your food for the wildlife 🤪 . Al also drag a small tent along, but never had to use it.
Wild camping, also known as boondocking, dry camping, or dispersed camping, is not officially allowed in France. In some regions, however, camping and bivouacking on roads, parking lots and private properties is permitted with the permission of the local authorities. Fines for illegal camping can go up to 1500 euro. Seems you got lucky with it and good for you,...but please provide the correct information ;-)
@@stevenwandels8934 "National and Regional Parks have their own laws with regard to wild camping, so check their rules. Otherwise try to be sure that you're not on a private land, stay only one night with a light tent, don't make a fire (in particular in the south of France) and leave your bivoauc area as you found it and you should not face problems." From the TET site
@@stevenwandels8934 Done my research, and bivouac is very well regulated and allowed. 1) make sure it's not private property/allowed. 2) small encampment for one day! So evening until morning. 3) Leave nothing behind, dont destroy anything, checked fire rules (clear ground for good measure.
@@FreeMilesMC i dont know all the names Tom Tom probably knows. We spend a night in Monchau. And the the drove back to our home country Belgium. It was amazing. Next time we want to go deeper in land. See more. Enjoy more nice roads...
Wise words about Eastern Germany. Just one little thing: Simson are the moped/mokick type vehicles, being very popular until today due to their Vmax of 60 km/h instead of 45. The Eastern German motorcycle is named MZ (Motorradwerk Zschopau). At 06:30 there's a MZ TS type... which one I own, too :-; There were 125, 150 and 250 ccm variants; I can't say exactly which one is that one from behind (should be a 125 or 150, but I'm not sure). By the way: Great channel. I particularly enjoyed your Iceland journey last year, having been there later in 2023. Greetings from Dresden!
Great episode 👍🏼 I would love to see some of that traditional (east) German food. Beautiful country side! Was that on Thursday for Christi Himmelfahrt where everything was closed? Looking forward to next episode
Did you find out why there were so many cavalry there? A bit over the top for "wild camping". Although in Germany... maybe it's normal. That's sad. In my next life I'll drive straight from the Eifel to Kamchatka with a side trip to China. That's my dream. An ocean of forest and tundra. In this life I'm probably too kaputt. But wait and see, I'll think about it again. :)) In any case, left hand greetings. I wish you a great, adventurous tour with lots of new people and views.
Thank you for your nice comment I can understand that you want to do this trip it sounds like a great plan. I think the amount of police looking for wild campers was because there was a holiday in the area where many people start hiking and getting drunk during it. So they where worried about drunk wildcampers
Love your videos! You should visit Romania, you can camp where ever you want. And you will love the landscapes. If you decide to come, reply to my comment, I will join you for 1 day on my xj600 to show you some beautiful places. Actually you're the reason I've decided to buy a xj600 :)) Keep up the good work!
I am sorry it was not intentional somtimes one or two notifications go under in the RU-vid studio. I am happy that you bought a Yamaha xj, I am planning to get mine going aswell. I hope that I will make it all the way to Romania ☺️
"Thüringen, Thüringen, Thüringen Ist eines von den schwierigen Bundesländern! Was ist schon dran an Thüringen?" ~Reinald Grebe Checked and confirmed. 😊
Coming from America, the idea of wild camping being illegal seems like extreme authoritarianism. If I were to guess it's because if you're allowed to camp everywhere for free they can't collect taxes from forcing people to pay at campgrounds.
Well that’s the reason in some countries also around public cooking. I think in Germany it’s because Germany is very densely populated so everything would look polutet and everything because not everyone would collect there trash and stuff like that
