For everyone who didn't catch it at first(including myself when I first played), Faith was already dead before the game started. The Faith Bigby met was really Nerissa glamored; she wanted to get justice for Faith, but couldn't explicitly reveal the truth bc of the ribbon, so instead she disguised herself as Faith, then put herself in a situation for Bigby to save her(the fight with Woody). That way, when she left Faith's head on Bigby's doorstep, him having met "Faith" would make it personal for him to find her killer, instead of it being just some random Fable's head. Fire playthrough as always, glad yall got to play one of my favorite games of all time, really. 🔥🔥🔥
@@JACQUEZ23 I was about to say that, lol. Some people think Nerissa is the one who was dead, and was glamored as Faith. I lean toward Faith being the one who is dead, though.

last video I said (with love!) that they were playing the _"SORRIEST"_ Bigby I've ever seen because of how insane they had him looking. I dont know if they were talking about my comment specifically (probably not), but if they were they interpreted it SO WRONG 😭
Broooo for real. Aunty Greenleaf is one of the worst villagers. Talking shit about the victims, abetting a suspected murderer/workplace abuser/embezzler, complicit with the Crooked Man, and then wants to play pacifist and high and mighty in the end. I hate her lol.
***Spoiler Alert*** In the comic books, the Canon ending is that they lock up the Crooked Man, but he escapes. And as "Nerissa" walks off around the corner, he captures her and calls her Faith. So it was really Faith the whole time, and Nerissa glamored herself as Faith the night Georgie killed her. That explains the reason the magic mirror couldn't find her because the real Faith was still wearing the ribbon. Also why Dr Swineheart had to run more tests on "Faith's" body, because it was really Nerissa glamored. Just to clarify some things lol someone let them know this next time 🤭 I thought they would have discussed the ending a bit more lol.
The magic mirror says the same thing about lily if you interrogate the woodsman. Its just that the ribbons ensure protection against it. I agree overall though
@babysho bruh I've seen them play other games. It's never been this bad. It's funny for awhile then they confuse Vivian for nerissa... ok fine but then keep trying to remove her ribbon off and then get surprised when her head falls off. Plain stupidity isn't funny to me 🤷♂️
@@viviennewestwoodruinedmylife honestly i dont blame them, all the prostitutes had the same model type shit. short hair and all only difference was the hair color.
Bloody Mary coming through that mirror was so tough, I love how they built her especially when mark tried to punch her and she started talking spicy 😂😂

I like how they completely are lost on Bigby’s reaction after Nerissa said “You’re not as bad as everyone says you are”…they just COMPLETELY missed what that meant😭.
They really don’t pay attention to details huh. This was fun, loved the consistency with this one. Whoever made that comment about them being “soft” didn’t realize how ignorant this duo can be lmao
Nah they rushing. Paid no attention to the story. Didn't know neriisa was the little mermaid. Then confused nerissa and Vivian even though they don't sound or look alike. Couldn't understand the ribbon thing without the game plainly telling them. Matter fact can't understand ANYTHING without the game plainly telling them. If this was some random I would've been stopped watching. Hope they actually take their time next game. Or have Ben and Dylan take over fr.
@@viviennewestwoodruinedmylife it was the same for walking dead and they didn’t rush that game they couldn’t remember a lot people names or weren’t listening to something important
That ending of all of Nerissa’s convo with Bigby is foreshadowing that Faith glamoured herself to look like Nerissa, glamoured the dead Nerissa's head to look like hers, put that head on Bigby's stoop, and has been manipulating Bigby all along in order to take down The Crooked Man. Basically the woman walking away isn’t Nerissa it’s Faith
Its the other way around, the “Faith” we meet at the beginning of the series isn't her at all. It is, in fact, Nerissa under a glamour in an attempt to call Bigby's attention to the nefarious dealings going on below Fabletown's already pretty shady surface, she explained it but didn't tell Bigby that she was pretending to be faithin the beginning, Bigby notices at the end by her saying the same things she said when they met
@@6SummersI'm pretty sure it's faith because if you ask the mirror to show you faith it says my lips are sealed(implying that she still has the ribbon on). Also if it was faith that died the mirror would have shown her dead body (as seen with Faith's Father)
@@clownroshi3566 that’s been my theory since like 2015 and some of the subtle lines at the end like “they USED to call me little mermaid” and going over how faith hid her beauty to escape the kingdom
@@6Summers Actually no. They made a tie in comic for the "Canon" ending and it confirms that Faith was glamoured as Nerissa. You never actually met the real Nerissa.
For anyone who wants a detailed explanation of the ending of the story (short version in the replies): Earlier in the story, Buffkin (the monkey), reads you the story about Donkeyskin. The story explicitly states that her name is Faith. Her mom was sick and told her dad to only marry the most beautiful woman in the kingdom, and after searching, the dad realized that the only woman who could match his wife’s beauty, was their daughter. To avoid having to marry her father, she had a cloak made out of her father’s prized donkey. She used this to escape the kingdom, then she married a prince who could see her beauty past the donkeyskin. This was Faith’s husband who was dead at the beginning/middle of the game. Faith left him a note in his house, telling Lawrence not to look for her. This is 1/2 notes that shows that faith was planning to disappear (I’ll explain more later). The other is in her donkeyskin coat that Toad stole. The note in her pocket said “I’m sorry” and was addressed to Prince Lawrence. Faith, Lilly, and Nerissa were going to runaway from Georgie’s strip club, but because Faith stole the picture of Crane and Lilly. This would make the Crooked Man angry because Crane was one of his allies, and if Crane lost his power in the government, The Crooked Man couldn’t use him anymore. Nerissa expected The Crooked Man to find out, so she told Georgie before that could happen and asked him to ask The Crooked Man for forgiveness. However, TCM said that they had to be made an example out of. The theory that most people believe is that Nerissa felt bad for telling Georgie what happened, so Nerissa and Faith glamoured themselves to look like each other, and whatever punishment Faith was going to be given, Nerissa would take it because she’s the one who told. It is also mentioned in the game that the strippers would cover each other’s shifts from time to time, so Nerissa may not have even wanted to take the punishment, but because she was glamoured as Faith, she was killed, forcing Faith to glamour herself as Nerissa. However, they didn’t expect that Georgie would kill Faith by taking off her ribbon. So because Nerissa died while looking like Faith, Faith had to stay glamoured as Nerissa so that Georgie and the Crooked Man wouldn’t find out. This wasn’t very difficult for Faith though, because she had already disguised herself to hide from her father, that’s why her Fable was important. Faith then got into a fight with Woody and got Bigby to save her. Them already meeting each other before is why Bigby said that Nerissa seemed familiar when they first met. Bigby had already talked to Nerissa in her real form. That is also why Nerissa and Faith’s text go back and forth at the end, Bigby realizes that a lot of the things Nerissa said were similar to what Faith said. Crane was stealing money from Fabletown, which is why so many characters were poor and felt helpless. This is why Faith getting into the situation with Woody was so important. If Bigby knew Faith, he’d have a reason to make her case a priority (unlike all the people standing in line at the beginning of the game). The entire story, Nerissa was actually Faith in glamour, and the dead body was actually Nerissa’s. They made a comic book, and at the end, The Crooked Man is actually thrown down the well and not killed. He escapes the well and instead of Nerissa walking around the corner, The Crooked Man snatches her and says “I have Faith”, and the comic book ends
Short version if you already watched the video and know what “Nerissa” said at the end: Nerissa exposed the plan and switched places with Faith, either to cover a shift for Faith, or to take Georgie & TCM’s punishment because she’s the one who exposed the plan. They didn’t know Georgie would be ordered to “take care” of Faith. So because Faith was believed to be dead, Faith had to stay glamoured as Nerissa for the whole game so she didn’t get killed by TCM & Georgie.
I never realised the actual story because the only other person I watched play the game didn’t actually clearly reveal that (to be honest RDC didn’t either )😭. I’m sad as a MF reading this, man. Not the little mermaid 😢😢.
Bruh and this whole time I thought Bluebeard was the real mastermind behind it all...remember he had a crapton of money and in his fable it described him decapitating brides so seeing the severed heads and all that would make somebody want to connect the dots. That, along with him seeming like he was in a hurry to see Crooked man killed so his tracks would stay covered
@@Royan.C exactly, they don't even know. They brought crooked man back alive and let him have trial. Bibgy won the crowd over too. All good things. Crooked man grabbed Mark and got killed for it. Not a bad ending they are just being soft crybabies

Y’all completely missed the entire point of the game… why do you think that last statement rang a bell in his mind??? 🤦🏾♂️, y’all niggas not paying attention… Nerissa was Faith THEE ENTIRE TIME… remember she could hide her beauty with the donkey skin cloak, the only person the cloak didn’t fool was Prince Lawrence. She glamoured Holly’s head twice, once to act as herself (Faith) and the other time as (Snow White)
I’d love to see y’all play Batman Telltale season 1&2 (S1 is Batman: The Telltale Series, S2 is Batham: The Enemy Within). It’s definitely one of Telltale’s more underrated classics, and has some of the best, most important decisions in any Telltale game (since its a completely fresh adaptation of the typical Batman lore). Plus behind the scenes they had fight choreographers and everything…they really got Batman boxing in it! 😂
21 minutes into the vid and they still think the wrong girl is The Little Mermaid even though Georgie said the Little Mermaid’s name and he just explained who Vivian was 😭 this is why every character dies in their play throughs of other games 😂
Y’all gotta play A Way Out i promise that’s game gonna have y’all on the edges of y’all seats and it’s a co-op game so both mark and leland can play at the same time
Great content overall but I gotta say, didn't really enjoy this playthrough as much as the last games like walking dead and Detroit... It feels like you guys didn't really put much thought into your choices for the best possible outcome of the protagonist. But this just my opinion.
exactly I agree. They were so stupid to the point it was annoying. From not knowing nerissa is little mermaid to not understanding anything that the game doesn't plainly tell them. I'm worried about their anime if they can't understand basic story cues and direction
@@viviennewestwoodruinedmylife This. So many times I see them be like something fell of because they stopped boxing or something is crazy. These guys are some of the funniest on the platform, but them getting that oppurtunity because they made some funny videos is insane. Yes. Despite this being one of the best story games they’ve played (only rivaled by the walking dead) Mark and Lee really dropped the ball on this one 😂 idk if it was just their short attention spans or their complete lack of deductive reasoning but it really made for a tough play-through to watch especially in the later videos (this one being the absolute worst).
How y’all got all the way to the end without paying attention is lowkey kinda impressive lol like y’all didn’t even know what was going on 😂. I feel like it’s be even funnier if y’all did but y’all be making it work.
It happens quite a bit honestly and it’s hilarious. They don’t pay attention or choose the best options but still pull through no matter what. That’s why I feel like people who complain about their choices are just weird. No matter the ending it’s more enjoying just seeing people have fun on the whim and not caring just enjoying life.
for everyone that don’t get the ending someone said nerissa glamoured as faith but really it was faith glamoured as nerissa. if y’all didn’t peep when you go back and watch when faith died they used the mirror to try and find faith and the mirror said my lips are sealed whereas for the other option for her dad the king it showed a dead body lemme know what y’all think. Also faiths name is called donkey skin bc in the tale she hides her beauty if you go back in the book and try and find her shes wearing donkeyskin and hiding herself.
This playthrough was liiive! Season 2 was supposed to come out this year, but they postponed it to 2024 to avoid crunch, so there's still plenty of time for you guys to play other games!
Faith is glamoured as nerissa at the end. The biggest clue that it’s faith glamoured as nerissa is when they ask the mirror in chapter 2 to “show me faith” and the mirror says these lips are sealed, meaning that nerissa (who still has the ribbon on) is actually faith and the dead faith (who’s ribbon was removed breaking the spell) was actually nerissa still glamoured as faith after death.
@@Nitr056O and it was previously established that they be switching shifts so most likely nerissa was glamoured as faith on a shift and got back to the pudding and pie and was immediately killed for the photo while the real faith stayed quiet glamoured as the real nerissa
The magic mirror says the same thing about lily if you interrogate the woodsman. Its just that the ribbons ensure protection against it. I agree overall though
The magic mirror confirmed faith was alive the whole time. Faith is glamored as nerissa at the end of the game. Nerissa was glamored as faith “covering her shift” and she was the head left at the door. There’s more to this but faith is shady.
Games with good writing / voice acting get elevated. telltale was really going off in the early 2010s. Thx for playing this and sharing the playthrough online with others to enjoy
Quick explanation as to the ending- Once Georgie had killed faith for getting the picture of crane and Lilly, Nerissa glamoured herself to look like faith and went to the woodsman at the beginning so bigby would have devolved a connection with her. She then left the head on the doorstep for him to see so he would investigate into the case.
OR Georgie THOUGHT he killed Faith but it was actually Nerissa glamoured as her since they cover each other's shift often. Also they play Bufkin's line about Faith's fairytale about her hiding her appearance so she can escape.
Faith, Nerissa and Lily blackmailed Crane with the pic so he hired Dee and Dum to investigate the 2 women in the room... Lily and Faith (who took the picture...) Dee and Dumb find out that Georgie is involved so Georgie silences all his women with Vivians ribbon. Crane still desperate goes to the Crooked man so he doesn't have to embezzle any more money to pay off the scam. The Crooked man finds out Georgie is involved and orders him to take care of Faith and Lilly. Since Nerissa confessed she was the person that Georgie ended up killing, however she was only glamed as Faith, due to the fact that she ratted the scam out to Georgie in the first place. Faith still glamed as Nerissa planted her false head, and then lead him to Lily's body by giving him the hotel Key. (Nerissa is literally sleeping with the fishes that's why they were laughing at the bridge.) Long story short that's Faith at the end her Glamour messes up and you can hear her real voice.
Congratulations Mark and Lee. This whole play through was amazing, and then y’all let two comments Peer pressure you into doing bafoonery at the very end😂😂
i lowk think shes faith and the head in the beginning is nerissa just glamoured, I don't think bigby ever met nerissa and faiths fable is known for being a fake and acting like other people iirc, i hope the next game tells us
The reason why bigby has comand over the wind like that is because his father is the North wind. He's basically a demi god and Bigby and Snow's children become full gods, as was prophecied by the lady of the lake i believe. Which os funny because Bigby's fate got switched with an evil wizard's due to the wizard mistakingly trying to out wit fate. "Your children will become gods" and ' you will be eaten by a terrible monster" I tell the comics are the shit. Read em. Its worth your time.
Regardless what everyone says, this is how the story was supposed to end. Bigby was the big bad wolf for a reason. Every person had their role, and before everyone said they wasn’t afraid of him as much in the beginning. Think about it, he was appointed sheriff because what he did in the woodlands; they feared and respected him. That’s why he is the top dog😤.
Let me try to clarify the ending like so rdc can see. Nerissa was Faith the whole time since the beginning. She did all of this so she can be free like in her fable she hides so she can be free from the king like her fable (aka crocked man). She fist had the blackmail evidence and then got closer to Bigby so he will have a reason to go after the crocked man. after that which is the first episode Faith and the Original Nerissa Switches places glamourized. Nerissa not knowing of course she tells George and that gets the glamorized Faith killed and she puts it on Bigbys doorstep so he sees "Faith" dead and since she got closer to him in the beginning he had a reason to go after the crocked man and "set her free from him" which is what she wanted from the beginning and why she feels guilty at the end she did all of this not caring for her friends or her husband so she can be free just like her fable.
There are two theories about the ending but in either case: The person you met in the beginning of the game, “faith”, was also the person who you knew as “nerissa” for the rest of the game.
Precisely. I was going to posit this comment myself, until discovering that you already had. The writers intended for it to be ambiguous, and for the viewers to devise different theories amongst themselves. Whichever theory is correct, either the original “faith” or “Nerissa” were already deceased in episode one. However, the book of fables story on faith and her father does sway you towards the notion that it’s indeed Faith who is alive. Moreover, that might’ve been precisely what the writers wanted you to believe. It could very well be Nerissa. We’ll never be privy of the actual truth until it’s confirmed.
@@TheVirginMeri for sure! All the comments I saw were like “listen to the dialogue” and “read the book of fables” 😂 Now mark out here punching everyone lmao
